Hi all,I'm about to buy ASX, but before doing it, I'd like to know if it is able to "interpolate" the weather among the standard FSX weather stations (really, one of the worst features of FSX is its brutal "weather condition switching" when flying).One of the review I read talks about "virtual stations", but it's not clear what the actual effect is.Could anyone who is already using it, please clarify?Thanks in advanceFulvio

I noticed, for some reason, that the coloring of clouds during sunrise and sunset, seems to be non-existant in ASX/X Graphics? Is this a known issue or do I need to reinstall the program. I know that the clouds were colored as to the sky color at dusk and dawn in AS6. I have included a screenshot to show what I am talking about.

Hello, apologies if I have posted in the wrong place or if this is covered already but I cannot see it.I have no sun now. I Installed these two products and since then I have no sun at all. Even on a clear day there is no sun. I have not altered ANY settings o themes , I simply open Active Sky and let it do its thing.I would appreciate any assistance as I am quite frustrated at this.Thanks in advance,Paul.

Hi everyoneI have been using ASV6.5 and FS9 and not going to upgrade to FSX as getting incredible results with FS9 (in association with Flight Environment and Ground Environment Pro as well).Was wondering if it would be worth while setting up a screen shot forum to help u guys publicise the benefits of ASV. I am flying SKBO-KATL right now and the skies I am getting are very realistic.Thanks for this tremendous add on which has given me so much pleasure over the last few years.John

Hi,Recently purchased a Quadcore 6600 which OCed nicely. On my old P4 I was running AS6.5 and FS9 via Wideclient. Should I continue to use the client machine or install AS6 on the FS machine and let the cores not utilized handle that work. Would performance suffer?Any help would be appreciated. ThanksJeb

HI, anyone know why sometime when the weather is updating during the game, the game just get out to windows and minimize itself to a tab (Sorry about my English, I didn't know what is it called). I have to click it and it reopens the game window and then I have to un-pause it. So this really annoyed me and it didn't come out until the last patch of the ASV6. Thanks

Running AS6.5. When trying to load archived weather for earlier today, I get "Run-time error '55': File already open." Then AS closes. Solution?

Hi,I was just wondering, yesterday we had some pretty high winds, and rain here by BHX, and I was wondering if ASV 6.5 would put in these winds and the rain from yesterday (Thursday) if I selected this date and time.I have set up ASV as per the instructions on the web site, so I thought I would check here, just to make sure I get it right.The last time I tried something like this I got it wrong somehow.I just select the airport icao, time and date right ?Many thanks in advance.

Hello,Despite the selection I have made in Xgraphics I still have on some airports ugly taxiways and runways and with shimmering...Most airports are OK.How can I solve this? Thanks in advance.

I am getting the simconnect error meassge like before after installing sp1. The fix before was to reinstall sp1. Is the a fix for acceloration.Chris

Can anyone tell help with this issue. Am sitting at the gate in KBLI for the past hr. AsV6 is reporting winds 360 true @ 0kts.but Fs is reporting winds 169 which would be 190 true. Can someone help?Alpha37

I have a problem picking for themes i saved. I get refused to load. Wht I think I need ia a clean start over. I have uninstalled asv6 and fs9. when I reinstall fs9, how come the files are still saved there and do me no good. Can I now delete the saved files in FS9 and start over? One more thing............When I choose say a certain type of cloud for example do I save it into ASV6 & FS9? Hi Fellows,I want to get random textures when I fly instead of selected textures. In other words, how do I set my options to do this? I think I'm not setting up the "randomizer" correctly and keep getting same textures (same dawn, dusk effect on each flight) Can some one walk me through how best to set these textures to get different results each flight? Jim, I'm not able to run either ASX or X Graphics without getting an error message. I decided to reinstall today since the repair function was not working for either of these. I was using the ASX-SP1-B1083 version until recently. Now I simply get nothing more than an error message when attempting to reinstall the bundled ASX/X Graphics: http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m305/Ea...eskyx_error.jpgIt's a real puzzle trying to figure this one out. I can mention that I have the following installed on my system: FS9 and FSX, SP1, Flight Environment X and Accelerator. My video card is a Nvidia 7900 GS and my current driver is 163.71. HiFirstly I must clarify that I know very little about computers and how they work and that what may seem like a stupid question to some, is not to me.So, with my AS6.5 (one of my favourite products) I require Net Framework 1 for ASG (I think, whatever) So I downloaded and installed and everything is wonderful.Some other programs (eg World of AI installer) require Net Framework 2. Fine. No probs there.Here's the question - If I have Net Framework 2 installed, can I uninstall Net Framework 1 and expect everything with AS6.5 and ASG to work happily? Really it's no big deal for me having both installed - I'm just curious.Thanks for any patient, friendly replies :-)

Is it normal for the depiction output to change between idle and active up to every 30 sec during flight?I took the PMDG747-400X for ride from KORD-PANC last night arriving at PANC about 0300Z. During the trip, weather shifts were minor but would start increasing significantly causing the simulation to constantly be correcting for speed and/or altitude. I then forced a WX Refresh (sometimes hitting the button had no effect so I would go to the setting page and make a minor tweak to force a setting change then the refresh would work).
