Greetings:Am still famliarizing myself with AS6.5 which I purchased this weekend. Have followed the prompts/instructions given when clicking on the various category mini windows (New Route, NavLog, Refresh, etc) but have not discovered the method to have the current weather open in FS9 at my selected ICOA. HiAfter installing SP2 I'd like to mention few things.Fog layer simulation is awesome. Looks very cool. Dont know why my frame rate droped terribly during this approach, I'm not sure it's the fault of the fog-layer. But in any case it looks awesome.Small wind shifts are smoothed. To be honest I've never had huge shifts with SP1 (I had other problems indeed lol) - there was a lot of smallish shifts wich now dont exist. Lol nothing I could do. Never had it with SP1. Wierd?

Has anyone using X-Graphics tried the new Shockwave 3D Lights add-on? I'm just wondering how well they work together, since both seem to be modifying the landing lights....

Hello,I was just wondering, will any of your new products be compatible with FS9? More specifically, XPlanner and XPax?I'm guessing not because of the "X" in the titles, but I thought I'd ask. ;) I'm not convinced with the jump to FSX yet, and I love my FS9 the way it is set up now, so I don't see myself moving over anytime soon. I was just curious, because these look like great products. I've really enjoyed the quality of your stuff since AS5 (currently on AS 6.5) and wouldn't hesitate to pick up any new products from you guys!Thanks!

Flight planning the QF107 flight with all my data referened to 0000Z 9 Dec, found discrepancy in wind data during Wx Briefing: Winds are stuck at 113 (various speeds) except for a couple of isolated points along the route. The constant wind direction, if an attempt to smooth winds, does not resemble in any manner actual winds (see attch Winds Aloft chart from Aviation Wx).I'm trying to understand how to use ASX, so I looked closer at one of the wind data anomolies where the wind is a constant direction (113) for 12 stations before and 8 stations after (stations being flight plan waypoints defined by the loaded flightplan), but this location has winds at FL390 125 degress …

When mousing over any of the system icons or home/refresh icons in upper right of screen, the popup help line appears behind the main window.Still a happy camper!Don't know why it looks better with this build but I switched back to XG from FEX because the clouds and coverage look better. Hi,Using ASX it would be really nice if the audio weather report (122.00 MHz) would always be played through the same audio device as FSX is configured to use for voice (i.e. VHF communication).This configuration setting within FSX is a new feature of Acceleration/SP2 and allows FSX to be configured in its own disregarding the settings in the OS. Ok first glitch here. I started a flight I havent flown since around June 6th 2007. I was doing alot of flying thru the hurricane that was twirling about that week.When i took off from KPHL as I am typing this, and turned on X-guage i turned off stations and route and set a 660 mile view. Well im getting the proper cloud coverage according to sattelites but the hurricane is still sitting off the coast of south carolina. I turned clouds on and off again but it is still there. Even with the clouds turned off.

I've been running FSX for quite some time now with absolutely no issues. Within about the last two weeks I have began to experience random CTD's (fatal errors). The fatal errors are also random in nature it could be api.dll, simconnect.dll, ntdll.dll and mscvr80.dll (the majority have been api.dll).The only programs I added prior to experiencing these issues are GEX and a registered FSUIPC.I've been pulling my hair out trying to track this down. Hi,thank you for such a fantastic software as Active Sky X! However, I am still unable to import flight plans. I hoped the SP2 will help but it does not :-(Here is what happens: I create my flight plan .pln in FS Commander 8.2 and then I try to import it in the Briefing section of ASX. Then I always get a window with greyed Departure ID and Destination ID, and with zeroes in the fields Cruise Speed and Cruise Altitude. Alternate ID remains empty and white (I can write into it). Am I doing something wrong? I tried to load the plan into FSX, save it in its fully native format and then import it into ASX but it does not help either.My specs: Windows Vista Home Premium (czech…

I just installed SP2 and wanted to make a first short flight. I created a new flight starting in Zurich (LSZH).Now look at this metar from Zurich:http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/8099/as...ewindbugkr3.jpgThe decoded values for 'variable wind direction' are completely wrong. This would be a minor issue, but unfortunately these values are being sent to fsx (SHIFT-Z to show the info): WIND 63 Mag @ 12 ktsThe rain information got lost as well, as there was no rain rendered in the flight sim. Hi Damian and Jim,I've just gone about "upgrading" ASX to SP2.Now your installation program said it was going to add an extra gauge to ALL of my installed aircraft. I DO NOT WANT THIS GAUGE unless I know what it does!(As have many of us, I've had to go through and eliminate all sorts of damage done to our setups by automatic installers.)So I naturally clicked the "x" in the top right hand corner to make the installer STOP before doing any further damage--having no other option. Hi all.I'm getting this error reported: Error loading module during LoadModule routine: Could not load file or assembly 'file:///Z:Flight Sim XModulesFSUIPC4.DLL' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest.(Error) Source = I have FSX on it's own drive.FSX SP1, ASX SP2, FSUIPC 4.20.Everything is in one folder on Z drive. When I install a theme using XGraphics (sp2) everything is fine.But if I install via ASX (sp2) using the weather-influenced button, ASX just hangs there after the first popup window is finished and the second one shows up.al

What a difference. Runs real nice even on this old dinosaur with the haze effects on climbout.Nice small fair weather clouds over the ocean now too. Also a huge difference with the wind shear. The shifts Ive encountered have been pretty close to the current weather.I wonder what the *cough* *cough* *ahem* passengers are going to think? :D
