Hi,Is there any way to set up ASV6.5 so that I can have both the following:(a) I can negotiate difficult weather enroute (eg thunderstorms) without it suddenly disappearing and making my path offset useless.(:( When the weather is bad at my destination, I can hold in the hope the weather gets better (with ASV depicting changes if it does get better).Cheers for any help!Bryn.

Hello, Just brought Xpax and am trying to understand it and configure it right. So far everything's going well, got connection between server and client, I have one question though, how can I hear announcements in server machine, cause I'm hearing them through the laptop speakers right now.Thank you and a Happy New Year !!!Bruno

HiJust wanted to know how things are going there. I bought Xpax one or two days after it was released and I'm still unable to use it. Made like 5 flights with it, 4 ended in crash, only one is saved in Xpax. Plus all other things mentioned like the ability to save state and save a custom aircraft scheme. This software is still in stand-by on my hard disk. Maybe we could have some progressive fixes instead of waiting for SP? Alex

I have read somewhere that it only work if FSX runs in window mode.Is this true ?Because it looks like a nice program , but I wont buy it if it runs in WM only. RegardsJohan

Hi guys, can't tell you how much I enjoy your passenger simulator and so you know, I have been a long time FsP user. Yes, I like their program, but wanted something that was in between and focused mostly on the passenger side and you came along with XPax, perfect.I fly a lot and am a real world pilot. However it has a problemOn ASX startup i get the message " SimConnect (SP1 version) was not able to be loaded..this is required for operation with FSX! Why make it so hard for people that wishes to reinstall your products? I have kept the downloads, but apparently you can't get a hold of your license key without requesting a re-download.Why not simply include the license key in the email you send out, or in the order details page on your website?

Hi !!My name is Alfredo i recently bought Xpax and i was wondering how come after inatelled some new liveries i cant find the plane in the proper page. I installed the british airways livery for the A320IAE FT but then i closed the prigramm i launched it again but i nevr find the the plane with thislivery. Another problem i have noticed is that when i am at gate with parking brakes set and launch the program it nevr show the plane i choose and with an A320 the number od passengers shown is 6. Once i change the number of passenger and i apply i can e the number of passenger changing but in the status they result always off board..Thank You Alfredo

I have ASX and XG loaded and working great with Vista and FSX SP1. If I install Xguage thru the gauge wizard, FSX crashes before it will start. When I try to start FSX the warning screen comes up about the gauge, but FSX crashes before I can tell it to run the gauge and the maker is a trusted source. While the warning screen is on the window it does not display the "run any way "option. FSX appears to continue to load and then crashes back to the desktop.I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but I still have the same problem. Is there a security setting I need to change?Thanks for your help.

Someone posted in the forum that I did not need to reinstall SP1 if I installed Acceleration.I am doing complete reinstall and installed FSX and Acceleration but not SP1.Now I installed Active Sky and it says simconnect SP1 is not there.Did I screw up by not installing SP1?If so do I have to start over?Thanks,Ron

Hello! I purchased XPax yesterday and have enjoyed two flights that went off "without a hitch!" I do have a few questions: what is the fuction of the com 1 and frequency boxes on the settings screen, and is there a complied list of everything that can cause the passenger satisfaction rating to go down? So far, I have only been given the "taxiing too fast" penalty, but sometimes the passenger satisfaction rating seems to go dowm without any apparent reason. Hi guys,Been using your program for years now without any problems at all.Recently though I was plagued with a virus and some of the steps I had to take was run several virus checkers. Unfortunately I forgot about the chilkat.dll being legit and it was removed by a virus checker. I need this back as a minimum.I went to my software backups and find that I have loads of original files and updates from v5 up to the latest version.Is there a way I can just download the latest 6.5 version so if this happens again I can load it quickly and simply in staed of trying to work out the upgrade path from version 5. I still have my order number etc to prove purchase.ThanksGraham

I know there are some threads on this already, but I have already tried to fix this problem using the fixes listed there. I tried changing to the Default FSX landing lights AND using the High Intensity lights, and unchecking the landing lights option in the Advanced Options tab, as well as various combinations of the above, but to no effect.Has anyone else tried these fixes and failed? If anyone else can think of something to try, I would certainly appreciate it!Thanks!

Does nothing at present but I would love to see this as well. What I do is load with default fuel and weights and then let the passengers load. Once onboard I get the weights and manually enter into the sim using the appropriate program (PMDG LoadManager for 744X or FSX weights for PIC737) and then do all the other stuff with the FMC from there. Hi Gang.I know it's not realistic, but I would like to force snow textures everywhere using ASV6.5.for example on a flight from EGLL to EGCC I would like to have snow all the way.is there a way to do this.Many thanks.

I just cant get ASX to work right... I just completed a flight from the Phoenix area to Denver. Weather is horrible nearly the whole way. According to the METARS (as viewed in ASX) it was overcast skies the entire way... Of course if you were in my plane it appeared to be clear skies (see attached) screen shot.Then when I am coming in for landing, i get past the outer marker and I can see the field fine, then when I pass a certain magic altitude (which was about 500 feet AGL) visibility goes instantly from an unrealistic miles, to what the metar said (1/4 mile). Naturally this screwed up my landing.I then restarted FSX and ASX to see if it helped any and it was screwed up…

HiI recently upgraded to a DX10 card (8800 GTS) and ever since, I've noticed that my fog/haze is sky blue. It looks horrible and am trying to figure out what the problem may be. I haven't changed anything aside from installing the card and updating the driver to the most current.Anyone had this problem or know how i can fix it?I'm running Vista32 and FSX SP2
