Hi,I have just loaded up my ASv6.5 and it won't download the weather I noticed this since last night. flying the pmdg 747x and asx i get the worst wind shifts which have almost made the plane crash many times shifts with realweather downloads at high altitudes from +130 knots to - 130 knots instantly i have the smoothing option on and the latest asx sp versioni have fsuipc to wind smoothing options but still no changekav

Alright, one thing I loved about AS 6.5 is that I could do a weather search using certain parameters, such as, "Precipitation Type, Intensity, etc." I could select the parameters and AS would find airports that match my parameters in current time. Then I could pick an airport and go fly where it is snowing, currently, in real time. Thats what I really liked to do. Well, I'm guessing that wasn't a very important feature to the rest of the community, for it is not included in ASX. Well, does anyone know of any website that I can do this with? I haven't been able to find any :(

Am I the only one that has this problem? Because I have searched high and low to solve this and there is nothing. Forgive me for being upset but I am frustrated.FSX installed, SP1 installed, Activesky X installed, and I get a Simconnect error. Hi. I've lost my document with the Order No. for ASV6 Upgrade. I have Activesky 2004.5,ASV5-upgrade which I have already installed but am unable to do the same for ASV6. What's the procedure to find out the Order No. I really don't want to fly anywhere without it.:-) Thanks

After being fairly satisfied with FSX-SP1 for the past few months after a fresh rebuild, I decided to try SP2 for FSX. All seems well so far, BUT!Using a personally chosen set of XGraphics lights, the ones with 4 or 6 stars style, I've noticed the lights seem super-bright in the middle and fairly unrealistic. This is most noticeable with the landing lights of all aircraft and the PAPI lights. Again, the only change was installing SP2 (standalone) for FSX. Hi,I was playing around with ASXsp2 last night and decided to manually change a downloaded metar on the Wx Settings page. The metar had a an OVC layer with 3nm vis down to 100ft AGL. When I changed the visibility feild to 1nm, automatic-dowloads disconnected (as it should) and the low visibility got much closer to my plane sitting on the tarmac (as it should).Now, when I attempted to set the visibility anywhere b/w 0nm and 1nm, the low visibility completely disappeared and I could easily see the next cumulus layer above. I tried decimal values, and fractions but no syntax seemed to work other than whole numbers, above zero. When I again put in 1nm or more of visibilit…

Hi, I purchased the ASX/XGraphics Bundle on CD several months ago, I believe shortly after it was available. I had it running on XP, but then encountered difficulties when I loaded it along with other addons on a new VISTA Ultimate computer. To make a long story short, I probably messed around with some Windows files to get the addons to work (including ASX/XGraphics) and messed-up Windows,messed-up simconnect, couldn't get the topline addon menu to appear in FSX. After a complete re-install of Windows VISTA Ultimate, FSX, and most of the addons, everything seems to work properly. Hi, i'm using ASX and have a problem with the weather at destination.it seems as asx is not updating the weather at destination at all or too late.for example, i flew from lszh to egll. on the briefing screen it was reported weather at egll 260@8, 1034hpa. i came in london and atis told me winds calm and 1013hpa. i was directed on ils09 and suddenly on final winds changed to the "real" data and i had more than 10 kts tailwind.can i somehow set the controls of asx that it updates the weather at destination before i reach it?Thanx,chrjs

HiI recently added the Bae 146 from the Historic JetLiners Group. I have 3 different liverys, 2 of which show in Xpax and 1 does not. I have tried deleting the folder as suggested elsewhere in the forum but no luck. I have forwarded the aircaft .cfg file to you marked "FAO Carl" on the 13th January and again on the 18th but had no reply. Hi, I am posting some examples of the issue where cloud structures instantly disappear as you approach them.i'm using FSX sp1 (nvidia 8800 card, sp2 is too crashy :/ ) and ASX 1106, also i use gex,fex, and utx and fs2crew and that's basically it. Both of these examples are of large, cool looking cloud structures that i was flying towards. The before and after screenshots are generally taken 15-30 seconds after the first. From the distance i would expect to take a couple of minutes just to fly to some of the cloud banks. As i get nearer, very often they will simply pop out of existence. HiI have recently purchased ASX and X graphics - produces great results, thanks so far. However, I was wondering the best way to operate with the briefing page for enroute weather at various fixes, I currently use VRoute on VATSIM to produce a flight plan, use FSinn to file it [additional retype], FMC entry also for PIC 737 [even more typing] - but not sure how to get the enroute aspect into ASX for winds aloft etc. Do I need to use the FSX flight planner as well and then import, does not seem to be an option in ASX to add waypoints to a flight - just dpt / arr / alt.I was also considering using FSGlobal 2008 to improve my terrain mesh, are there any issues with ASX and…

I've just run into a strange situation - don't believe it's ASX fault but perhaps someone has an idea what might be happening.I've included 3 screen caps - one showing the metar, one showing the cockpit with buildings visible and one showing blue screen.First - this only happens with this a/c at this airport with this metar in this view - go figure. Change any varaible and problem is gone.If I load the flight, after the weather initializes the outside view through the cockpit will flicker and turn a hazy blue. I've been looking around for getting ridge lift in FSX and i came to a conclusion that it could either be achieved by using the JDK and making my own mission; or by buying ASX. I bought ASX (not just for that reason) but now i still failed to find ridge lift around hills and mountains. Could anybody please confirm that it either is or isn't part of ASX? And if something special has to be configured please explain how.Thanks in advance
