I'm not sure what's going on but AS 6.5, each time I start it, keeps loading weather from the 20th day of the month. This is what it "thinks" is the current metar for KMIA:KMIA 200253Z 14005KT 9SM SCT250 24/21 A2999 RMK AO2 SLP156 60004 T02390211 52002As you can see, that's not correct.The actual metar for KMIA right now is:KMIA 251853Z 05013G20KT 10SM SCT049 BKN060 22/08 A3027 RMK AO2 SLP250 T02170083Notice the 5 day and 16 hour difference between the two. I've tried shutting down FS9 and AS6.5 multiple times now. Checked my settings, told it to download the current weather, etc but it keeps saying that it has the current weather which it obviously does not. Yesterda…

Anyone use XPAX and FSINN (in FSX)?I have flown 4 or 5 flights now and consistently, it makes my FSINN control panel act eratically. (i.e - the control panel partially or completely disappears) w/o XPAX running, no problems, with, problems. Let me know. Thanks.Dave

Hi!I am using AS6.5 via a WIDEFS Setup (2 fast PCs linked with a network cable) and noticed this strange behaviour: Once in a while, mostly during weather updates I guess, the outside view of my virtual cockpit turns fully GREY! That means all of a sudden there is no more sky, no horizon, no clouds, no ground texture anymore - NOTHING! It lasts for a few seconds. I am running Active sky x SP2 on a vista ultimate machine. I thought it worked before, but haven't flown for a couple of months. I get a download failed for primary server and secondary server. I uninstalled the program, reinstalled made sure the antivirus was disabled for active sky, checked that the firewall wasn't blocking anything. I don't know what to try next. Active Sky v6.5 on FS9 seems to give temperatures in Celsius, no matter where in the world I am flying, which Radar Contact then reads out loud to me, when appropriate. I would really like Fahrenheit temps, at least when I'm flying in the US. Did I miss a setting? -- This is a WideFS set up with the latest version of the registered FSUIPC. (I'm posting this at the same time over at the Radar Contact forum, in case it's a setting with their software, but I've looked everywhere and can't find a place to change this.)Not that big of a deal, but I would like to change it if possible. Hallo Gents,There are a lot of RL pilots using the sim to train flying in a soup, so using the real weather and keeping it realistic provided by ASX is a way to go.What I think would help a lot would be an option in the main menu to find the station in a given area (say Europe) with the worst weather conditions (say visibility and ceiling parameters).Is it possible?ThanksDom

This is surely a simple problem but I am not experienced enough to solve it. Here is the scenario: I plan a flight in FS9 and name it "KSEA direct VFR KPWT" I save it and it saves as a .FLT file. What I want to do is now open ASv6 and import current weather for that route. I open ASv6 and click on "New Route" and then "Import". What I would like to do is import my "KSEA direct VFR KPWT" file but when My DocumentsFlight Simulator Files opens it only shows those files that are .PLN. Ideally I could open ASv6, import my chosen flight plan, download the weather, open up FS9 and go to "My Saved Flights" and click on my "KSEA direct VFR KPWT" and fly. I evidently am doing …

I am having a problem here with loading.I download the weather in good time a minute or two. The problem is once the information is in my computer and before it gets completed in FSX time could be up to 10 minutes before I see the green strip saying weather complete.This has been happening for the past week or so. Any Ideas?

ASv6 for some reason has started to access A:Dive when first started and when it updates the weather. Can you offer a solution please?I run ASv6 on a network computer and have been running it this for years without a problem. Hello,when I start AS 6.5 with GE Pro, I first start ActiveSky, create or import new flight plan, then from there launch GE that updates the textures according to the weather taken from AS, and only then I launch FS.The problem: when I start AS without FS, it immediately begins updating the weather for KSEA, I understand it's the default.Is there a way not to do that until I load the flight plan?thanks

Dont know if this is a known issue or what but when on final approach (several times diff places) in bad weather the screen goes WHITE sorta like clouds came into the cockpit (VC) only the 2d panel can be seen. Hello all,I recently installed 128 bit clouds (from 256 default) through Xgraphics - just to see if there was a performance boost.
