Hey guys tell me what am doing wrong.Am sitting at (KPAE)WA where flight sim indicates winds mag 214/9 but ASv6 indicates winds 359/0.Magnetic variation is E 20.Could someone tell me what is happening or am I reading the info incorrectly?Alpha37

Having got ASX nicely set up and working (thanks to Al Jordan) I now have problems with XGraphics. It installs fine on the client but cannot write to the Server. I made the texture files RW on the server but they seemed to go straight back to Read Only. Everything is done as Administrator.At the moment I have XGraphics set up on the server so that I can install the theme required but ASX cannot add weather enhanced textures from the Client.This may seem as clear as mud but that how my brain is after a few hours wrestling with this.All help, as always, much appreciated.

I know this is on going issue. I downloaded update regarding wind.I don't see any changes in wind impact on Airplane. I am flying with PMDG-747 and LDS-767.Every couple of minute wind impact like a shock way on the planes.Is it possible I did not activated FSUIPC, yet?RegardsSanal

Hi, I just want to be able to temporarily disable AS weather - online and offline. I imagine this is easy, I just haven't found the answer. I was three hours into a flight and found my airspeed was dropping to stall speed. No, I wasn't too high - I'd been at around 30,000' for a couple of hours already, and no, I wasn't out of fuel. There were plenty of lightning flashes, though, and the aircraft was bouncing around a little. So I wanted to switch weather off temporarily to see if that was causing the speed problem. Hi Damien,As you suggested, I have reinstalled SDK SP1a, then SDK SP2 on my XP PC. But I still receive the error message, and it refers to SP1. I have also re-installed SDK, SDK 1a and SDK 2 on my Vista server.Both machines now show FSX SP2 SDK, and the XP client shows 2 versions of SimConnect Client.Any ideas?Cheers, Richard

Will you please verify, these two scenes are ASX/Graphic X generated Clouds and not good dark ocean color. I am really suspicion. I am keep installing new graphics, but it doesn't look AS X is performing.May be I spoiled with AS6 Fs9. THanksSanal

There are 6 examples (see attachment). I assume it is Local IPv4 Server Configuration but am loath to experiment as I do not need everything to go boss-wonk on me (again!!). Hello, I have been using your products for many years and I have recently run into an issue with ASX build 1122. Last weekend and again this weekend when I start ASX and load a flight plan everything looks good and then I select the "send to the system tray" button. I then start FSX and while it is loading I receive an error message about the date I selected being out of the range of 1-1-2007 to todays date. Well I did not change nor select the date, it was correct on the main screen of the ASX program when it started. HiI have just set up a flight in Flight 1 Super 80. I loaded up xpax to recieve the following error:-FSUIPC.DLL does not exist or is an earlier version that 3.7.5. I have a registered version of FSUIPC and it is version 3.80 dated 6th March 2008.XPAX should work then. Why is this happening?regards Jason

Let's see if i'm doing this right.The very 1st thing i do when i fire up fsx is clear the weather completely to clear skies .Then and only then do i start up active sky x . If i go on vatsim before i go live online i hit CAVOK then i go on line so then at least i think that now the vatsim and active sky weather can't have a boxing match with each other. I had ASX running over my network yesterday, but today it doesn't want to work - frustrating? You bet!I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling ASX, thinking maybe the pointers to the FSX installation had gone awry.ASX starts, downloads it's stuff then sits there telling me that KSEA is the nearest station, no matter where I put myself. I'm not getting any messages in the FSX window along the lines I was before from ASX.I've checked the simconnect settings and they are all as should be. Is this active sky x good or what!!!If i really knew about this xpax and really understood what it is and if it works on high quality payware like the ATR and the Level D 767 coming from this outfit i would get it .My question is, first i only run fsx and fsuipc is 4.20 but i noticed since i bought active sky x feb-08- when i'm flying like right now it's showing 8 cel and should be minus something or other and when i was in the level d last time at 30 plus thousand feet the temp in the panel was not showing a minus temp. Hi, I really enjoy ASX. I installed XGuage as guage #5 as per the defaults in my aircraft, and when I go to the "Viiews" menu on FSX, it lists XGuage, but when I select it, it momentarily appears and then disappears. I suspect it is "hidden" behind the 2-D panel of the LevelD 767 panel. How do I bring the guage to the forefront?Thanks,Patrick

I've done a few flights in the last week or so in the Eaglesoft SR22 where I've noticed that, especially when I'm on the ground, the atmospheric pressure is jumping significantly even while sitting still. The most recent jump was today at KBWG around 17:00 or so GMT and it was fluctuating between 29.93 (wrong!) and 30.33ish (correct!). Only other addon which is doing anything else with the weather is fsuipc where I have wind smoothing turned on. I tried enabling the "pressure smoothing" in fsuipc with mixed results.This is using SP3 Beta, although the problem was existent prior to installing the SP3 beta today. HiI just reinstalled AS6.5 and it seems to work, but there is one problem.When in windowed mode and over land the fps is low as soon as there are clouds. I never had this problem before and in full screen its fine. The same when flying in windowed mode over sea.I wonder if AS has some kind of textures that effects the land ?Or any other suggestions ?thanks

Can someone remind me why i don't see overcast conditions, they are simply broken in fs9?Was there a fix, its a horrible feeling without!

Hi All,Right i have been using active sky 6.5 and squawkbox together now for ages and i have always had when online random CTDs. When i say random, i mean can happen 1 flight and not the next. The general ratio is 1:5-6 i.e for every 5-6 flights i make, it will CTD once. This is very annoying especially if on a long haul, or GA navex.I posted on the SBOX forums and we tried everything in the book. AA off etc. This didn't solve the problem.However, i am now 90% sure this is possibly an active sky/squawkbox problem. Because whenever it crashes Active sky has been updating. I.e data downloaded and refreshing data. Also in the FSUIPC log the final line after a crash is someth…

Dear HiFi,While flying FSX with ASX (Networked) and downloading Vatsim's weather data, I found that airports' metar do not correspond.Sometimes ASX simulate a wind coming exactly from the opposite side compared to the one created on Vatsim (which I can check using FSInn metar facility).As you can realize, this difference affects the runway usage and prevents me from performing a correct landing.Let's say Vatsim weather says wind 360/10 and ASX instead 160/10, the "real" ATC would adress me to a RWY36 and I would be forced to land with about 10kts of tailwind... :-halo Is there maybe an option which I did not activate?! :-hmmm Thanks a lot for your support.Nick

Hello everyone, I am wandering why my Active Sky X behaves in this way. I will try to explane with a simple example: I depart from Rome on route to Sicily (city of Catania). When I start ASX it charge all weather data correctly dowloading from the internet the correct METAR and loading it into FSX. The problem is that when I fly the route and I land in Catania the weather is THE SAME of Rome!! Same QNH, same wind, same temperature even if ASX has the correct weather for Catania. Hi Guys,I'm in a bit of a squeeze here. I purchased today XPAX and AS 6.5. When I go to Xpax with FS open and I click 'connect' it will just say 'sim disconnected'on the bottom of the screen. Trying this repeadedly doesn't work either. I have downloaded the newest version of FSUIPC (3.75)I am using build 340, but it didn't work with build 316 either.Any suggestions?
