Up to yesterday I was working fine with the following:-XP Home SP2FSX SP1 (Deluxe)ActiveSky SP2Then I purchased Xpax and was unable to get it to connect to Simconnect (the message says it cannot find 10.0.61242.0. I decided to follow all your support suggestions but these only resulted in Active sky then complaining that it cannot find Simconnect.Eventually I unistalled everything (FSX, FSXSP1, ASX, XPAX) and proceeded to rebuild. I have tried the following combinations:-FSX, FSX SP1FSX, FSX SP1, SDK, SDK SP1AFSX, FSX SP2FSX, FSX SP2, SDK SDK SP1A, SDKSP2Now each time I get the same results:- ASX says it cannot load Simconnect XPAX says it cannot find 10.0.61242.0 FSUI…

Hi guys can anyone tell me how to resolve this error am getting on a wideclient pc running ASv6.The error is "Error during FS station database check (Step 3): -Stations may not be configured for extended-coverage weather depiction....Any help?ALpha37

Ok I'm new to fsx and flight simming in general. I have a new vista computer, with a quad core cpu and 4 gbs of ram. The only addons I have (so far) are asx, xg and radar contact. Before I spend any moneyon terrain software, I would like to know which ones work best with asx and xg. Also could you tell me of any setting changes to be made so they work better together. I'm not sure if this is a problem or bug or nothing. I am getting strange passenger numbers with some but not all aircraft. I'm flying WIlco 737 PIC for FSX. XPax rates or adds 137 or so passengers, others only 6 or 7. Changing the payload and fuel seems not to matter. How is the number of passengers determined? Does the aircraft.cfg file contribute or is it random? Randy Jura, KPDX

HiAfter a while away from FS I am now re-installing all my products. The problem is I have Active Sky 6 backed up but not 6.5. Was there an update to v6 or was 6.5 a new product? Any help would be appreciated.Maddon

HiI Have had AS6.5 for a long time and I am very happy with the product. Lately a problem ocourred:when opening the ASG I get the message:"Please wait while AS full sky auto submision is proceeded". At thos point I just opened the ASG.then when opening the fs9 the weather settings are suddenly "random all" - I want to use the soft horizons, but they are suddenly gone.I have made my own weather settings and I sent them to fs but next time I run fs, the settings are back to random all.How can I keep the settings?would there be a way to random all, except the soft horizon ?

Jim / Damien,ASX allows for multiple layers of cloud to create a more realistic simulation. I've just installed XGraphics (for FSX), on my new machine. I've downloaded the SP2 which I found on your support page but I obviously need to install SP1 first which is NOT on your support page! Where can I find the SP1 please?Thanks.

I was flying last night from Duluth, MN to Mpls, MN and my landing was around sunset. I had a really goofy graphics issue happen and I'm not sure if it was my system, or something goofy with ASX or Graphics X. It was overcast at the time and the sun was setting on the horizion.Shortly before touchdown everything got very dark, and almost a redish brown dark so that all I could see was the area that my landing lights hit on the ground.If I switched views it would briefly show the normal surroundings, but then it would change back to this odd color. For the last week, it seems that it takes a much longer time for ASX to complete processing after loading a flight. I always fly from the same area and have a fast (10kbps) internet speed. Usually, after pressing fly now and getting the cockpit, it takes no more than a minute, usually less, to get the "complete" message. Now, it takes almost 5 minutes from the same airport. Other than adding different aircraft, I've made no changes to my system. Have not installed or tried the latest ASX beta. Greetings:Attached are two screenshots of the AS & Graphics windows. Both are exhibiting "offsets". Any idea what caused this and if so, how do I remedy it? I have uninstalled/reinstalled several times with no success. ThxChris

I just found out about XPax (I know I'm late) and was wondering if there was anyway I could get at least an estimated payload or ZFW to use during my flight planning. I don't want to end up 5 hours into a flight just to find out I'm short on fuel and I don't want to add fuel in the middle of my flght either. I installed X-pax, nothing went wrong with the installation. But whenever i start up x-pax, the first start up only give's me the SOUND of the airporthall. No program. When i look with ctrl-alt-del i dont see xpax running eigther.When i start it up the SECOND time i get the complete program. But....the sound of the first start up doesnt stop, it keeps playing during the whole flight. When i close all programs and close off windows i get an error saying .netbroadcastevent 2.0 has to be closed manualy before windows can close down.Could someone please tell me how to fix this problem? Hello,When i climb above transition level and set my equipment to qnh 1013 my altitude in FS is different from the airplane. Fs is sticking to the altitude with the qnh from Active Sky. When i close AS, FS gives me the same altitude as my plane.Is there a solution to set AS to qnh 1013 above transition level?Thanks in advanceGreetingsOlaf de Vries

Hi all, Yesterday i bought ASX along with X Graphics. I must say i am very pleased with them.One problem, which is my fault. When i installed ASX i accidentally shutdown the X Gauge installation wizard.Is there anyway of installing this separately or will i have to uninstall and re-install ASX? Also, if i do have to uninstall and re-install do i need to do X Graphics as well?Many thanks in advance,Ross.

HiThis maybe my fault, when you import a flight plan into the weather engine it loads I assume weather for the route.I flew from EGLL to KSFO lastnight, and the weather stayed the same all the way to KSFO. Heres my questionsShould the weather update en route and change??Does the map update the position of the aircraft.With graphicsX once a theme is installed does it stay the same for the whole route???As I said I got the weather for EGLL and it seemed to stay the same all the way.I had been using FEMETEO and that updated at every way point.Rgds

Hi Ray,Clouds in general are a FSP hog in FSX. Our clouds are the same size as default clouds when using 256. Also, running at 19 X 12 is stressful. AS6.5 = nice product ..thanksI just wunder if it is posible to make the horizon smooth at dawn, dusk and night ?. I made it for daytime (easy enough), but as soon as the sun get close to horizon I get that terible line=horizon.Would there be any any of the several textures that solves the problem`?thansk

Hi thereI bought the ASx+XG bundle a while ago and atm I'm cleaning up things a bit. The questions is, do I need the SP1 updates of ASX and XG installed before applying SP2s? Or do the SP2s are cumulative and contain the SP1s fixes? Is so I could delete the old SP1s and free up some space.Thanks for the help.

HiI have ASX setup on a seperate machine than FSX. what I want to know is can I use two machines running FSX on each access current weather on the third machine as a real server not a client. also using Xgraphics can this be done the same way.FSX mach 1 FSX mach 2 / / / ASX/XGraphics mach 3I also have FSX on the third machine should this be removedfor all of this to workthanksPeter

Hello Jim, hello Damian, hello folks !I have lately witnessed a strange behavior from AS6.5 running with Fs9 from a networked client.Listening to the ATIS, everything but the altimeter is correctly reported like shown by the AS window.If I look at the METAR showed for the closest station on the ASKy window, I find that all settings read by ATIS match the Metar, except the altimeter ...Anyone else ever reported this ? Eugenio.P.s. also, I noticed that the different altimeter happens to be almost 99,9 % of the times the value provided for the destination airport of a (imported) FS flight route, instead that for departure. Strange, eh ?
