Hi, I had to reformat my drive and now I cant seem to be able to install Net frame 1.1 to use ACtivesky 6.5. I downloaded netframe 1.1 and when I exectute the file I get this error:Extracting the file failed: It is most likey caused my low memory (low disk space for swapping files) or corrupted Cabinet file.How can I fix this issue. I know its not low memory since I have 2 gigs of memory not low disk space with 200Gig drive.Thanks,Bill

Hello!! I am new to the forum and also to FSX and X graphics/ASX.I have a couple of very basic questions I hope someone may be able to help me with. I have installed FSX X Graphics and ASX and the service packs succesfully and each individual package seems to be working ok on its own but: 1} How is it possible to have all the Free Flight options available in FSX that may contradict with the loaded Themes form X Graphics? (For example select winter runway in a Theme and then select summer in the Free Flight options, or change the weather settings that will conflict with real time weather in ASX and also set a flight plan in both FSX and ASX. Hi,I am having a problem installing Active Sky X. I am using FSX with SP1. Once the installation starts I get an error message that says "XGaugeWizard has encountered a problem and needs to close." In the error signature there are several codes listed. One of them indicates "system.badimageformatexception". Any ideas what could be causing this? -spiders1996

I am getting a constant blue haze at low level and cannot see how to get rid of it. This is with ASX on FSX. I have ASX and since I installed MS Acceleration I all my oceans, lakes etc have been replaced with desert and trees. I have all the latest updates, patches etc. Any idea what happened? I am running Vista Ultimate.Thanks

Hi.I build new PC and everything looked ok, until I have installed ASV 6.5 B552.The problem is that after I start ASV, FPS starts to change value from 30FPS to lower values (15FPS) rapidly.And without ASV I set overcast with rain and FPS are around 29-30FPS (locked to 30 FPS).I'm using 256x256 clouds.Everything in FS9 is on full settings and FPS are locked on 30 and stayed at 30.What can cause the problem.I was away for 1.5 years so please help me with advice.New PC:Intel E6750ATI 2900PRO 1GB2GB DDRWinXPCat 7.10ThanksEdin

Hi there, just took a look at the new site, certainly looks nice and you've got some great programs in the pipeline.So far I've seen nothing new for FS9. But I seem to remember a comment from way back, something along the lines of "FS9 users will not be forgotten, but we can't go into further details right now". I think it was made leading up to the release of ASX.I'm not interested in a discussion about FS9 vs. FSX and all that. However I would like to hear from you if you have FS9 plans still or not. Seems a simple question, so a straight and honest answer will be appreciated, even though I may not like the answer. Thanks.

Hello,I have trouble with my single-PC ASX installation. I have done all the checks regarding the SimConnect versions, installation order, etc, and everything seems to be all right. I can load XEngine perfectly, but no updates are pushed to FSX. However, I can see the map updated in XGauge, but the actual weather in FSX does not update. I also see that trying to check the "Lock to FSX position" has no effect.Any guidance would be great,Thanks for your help in advance,Pisolabe

Has anyone else tried ASX with Pete's latest beta weather features in the registered version FSUIPC4? I would think these would be of particular interest to HiFiSim and the ASX community as they might affect/improve among other issues, the wind-shift and haze issues. Maybe not as a solution, but a work-around? I have noticed an issue recently that is really slowing my PC down. I run ASX on a remote PC to save my main machine extra CPU time. I have noticed that if FSX is running (even on the menu screen and not actually the flight screen) then ASX is extremely slow and the CPU is running nearly maxed out. This continues even after the weather has finally loaded and things should settle down. Turning off centre on location drops the CPU to nothing but turning it back on quickly results in max usage again.If FSX is not running when loading up and getting the weather and setting the graphics then things work normally with very little CPU usage and takes very little time.http://www.…

Hi all,I'm having problems with AS not finding GEPro. I've searched the forums and found a few posts but they don't quite tell me what I need to know.I understand there is a registry setting that tells AS where GEPro is. I'm guessing mine is wrong (the installation was a bit traumatic due to my using Vista and trying to preserve all my previously generated textures).Please can someone tell me where in the registry AS looks and what it should be pointing at (the main executable?). After submitting my CC details blah blah etc, the page returned with a time out (after a few min) after I pressed the purchase/submit button. this has been happening for a good 6 months now and I dont think it is correct.What happens is that I run an FS9 session using ASv6 (6.00.4701) and during the session my ram loads up with multiple ASG apps (at least I think so, many are shown in the task bar).Even 3-4 minutes after I exit FS both ASv6 and ASG are still running. I have to ctrl alt del to force an ASv6 exit thru task manager. However I still see anywhere from 3-9 ASG apps running.take a look at the screen shot, this is taken about 8 minutes after I exited FS9 and 5 minutes after I quit ASv6, yet this is what it shows.thoughts?http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/179028.jpg

Sounds like some awesome products coming down the line. I have a question or clarification about X Planner. Does "totally integrated" mean that this planner will run inside or outside of FSX. Will it be similar to FS Nav or FS Build or am I misunderstanding the purpose of this tool. Thanks

Where is Damian at? His posts have dried up. I would much rather HiFi to focus on fixing ASX rather than moving on to other ventures. ASX and the few major problems it has, upper level winds and overcast skies, have soured me from any future purchases no matter what they are.My opinion only.

Hi fellas,I was trying to access ASX and all that happened was that the ASX tab would appear in the taskbar at the bottom of the desktop. So I uninstalled both ASX and XGraphics as I thought that the two should be deleted and a fresh install would be a good remedy. Well ASX installed just fine but when I tried to install XGraphics I got an error message. I tried to reboot and install XGraphics but I was unsccessful. The error reads as follows:"Error 1335.
