The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.
  1. Started by Phantoms,

Not the best screenshot as MSFS doesn't even have buildings/scenery in this part of the airport. But I landed my EMB-110 FedEx at KSHV and was directed to GA parking to wind up in this area surrounded by good company (except one imposter).

Just one shot of the new great Air Atlantic repaint having just arrived at the gate inbound from St. John's. I really love this livery and am so happy to have it for the BAe-146. Air Atlantic used to take their 146's on some relatively short hops around the Maritimes so this should be a fun one.

I do love the PC-9A, I find it's easier to fly without the complexity of the PC-21 (although the PC-21 is still pretty great) and it'll fly in and out of practically anywhere while being quite quick. This particular PC-9A is one I origionally purchased for FSX-SE to which I updated the gauges, sounds and lighting to P3D x64 Unfortunately towards the end of the migration process I managed to introduce a bad "bunny hopping" problem as evident in the vid link below. YouTubeVid Well... on last weekend I looked at the problem properly and chased it down to a errant cut and paste prob in the aircraft.cfg. Something so small yet managing to cause such a …

Hello to all, We are a very small team that may be swimming against the current, but some of us think that Prepar3d still has things to share...! SwissMilSim is about to release the Venom DH-112 for P3Dv4 and P3Dv5. And I just wanted to show you a video of this nice little Swiss Army fighter that was in service between 1946 and 1990... Even if everybody lives only for MSFS..., this model has been very well done, and we hope it will get the support it deserves. Good video to all!

  13. In my previous post on Braniff, I'd shown one picture each of a Douglas C-47 and a Lockheed L-049, and had mentioned that, prior to 1970, the airline flew an impressive variety of different kinds of propellor aircraft...beginning with its very first (ever) scheduled airline service with a Stinson Detroiter (SM-1) ... "...The SM-1 monoplanes were buxom, rather large and almost awkward looking but they delivered a good performance and handled surprisingly well in spite of their size...a good "Stinson Pilot" was indeed a special breed of man and could really perform many wonders with this plane..." The plane was flown by the Braniff brothers...in 1928... Later…

Hehe....funny topic from a prolific painter who's painted a few planes in his day. 🙂 Fscabral is a fantastic painter and seems to paint liveries I just gravitate to, hehe. I highly encourage you guys to check out his paints here: https://flightsim.to/profile/Fscabral/uploads This one is amazing! Now...I never really liked this Delta livery, since it overwrote my beloved Delta Widget...but he did it so well, and I have many memories flying on this livery. Just look at all the detail...the dirt, great! The off-color nose, and the nacelle covers...just epic. And the custom wing textures...superb. And the fantastic metallic Western.... …

A short flight just outside of Portland (4S2) to Redmond, OR. This was a lovely flight with scenic mountaintops in the distance (and up close as I fly by Mt Hood) I feel like I'm right back in PNW heaven with the beautiful scenery and my happy little RV14. (the late Bob Ross could draw my flight...) Another incredible livery by @Ron Attwood - thanks again sir Ron! And of course I've equipped my RV with the TDS GTNXi (Both 4S2 and KRDM are freeware at flightsim.to) Untitled-2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled-4 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Initial climb to 7500 (I varied from 9500 to 5500 to enjoy the terrain) Untitled-5 b…

Established in 1841, Nelson is the oldest city in NZ’s South Island and is located on the eastern shores of Tasman Bay. The airport is primarily used for domestic flights and is the fifth-busiest in New Zealand by passenger numbers. During scheduled hours a plane lands or takes off around every four to five minutes. Before we can park our car, we need a ticket A few more people around here would be nice They even have an old Morgan on display. Cool ! Btw, all the photos of New Zealand you see here in the terminal are animated, they change every few seconds or so. Very impressive! …

  23. With all the big airliners now on the market, and all the time I've been spending in the paint booth, I took a break and grabbed the latest "beta" of the 414. To say this is a beta is a bit of a stretch for me...I'm thinking at least Release Candidate 1! The new textures are stunning, as are the sounds! Here is my Bob Segar Silver Bullet paint and the amazing rivet detail (look at those dimples!) I may have to finish her and throw her out on flightsim.to. I will probably make the wing fillet and nose cone bare metal too as the popular sense I got is that even if they are not metal, simmers want her 100% metal, regardless of real…
