Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/ 
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.
  1. In one of my recent posts, I'd flown the heaviest skip-eqippped aircraft in my hangar (in fact, also, the heaviest (RW) a/c ever to be equipped with a ski set, the LC-130 Hercules variant). I'd flown from PAVD (Valdez) airport to the vast icefield of Bagley Field, in the dead of winter. So, a peer member, here, ...had asked me (rightly so) if I wanted to punish myself...🙂...? Actually, the reason for my exploring Valdez region in the middle of winter (for the first time, virtually) was because I'd come across a few beautiful (MSFS) pictures, here, of Valdez in winter...and it had occurred to me that I've always visited Valdez only in Spring, but never in Winter...! Anyway…

    This one is by request....I already had the TUI paint...just needed to add the SunWing logos and Orange tail...I'm kinda' liking the uniqueness of her...and she's a UK reg....should make our British friends happy. 🙂 To the sharp eye...and anyone who's mulled over hundreds of pics of this livery...you may notice I'm missing something in this pic...let's see if you guys can tell me.     I just release my P-8 by request from @raymar. Of course its actually a 737-700 dressed up to look like a P-8, but that's what I have to work with. 🙂 It was interesting paint, and I initially was not that excited to paint her...but as usual...when you spend some time painting any livery, you become somewhat attached. The more detail I added to this one, the more I liked it and wanted to add more...there are TONS of customiztions on this paint nobody would notice is actually custom, unless you've painted the PMDG MSFS 737. 🙂 There is a "decal" map that allows for highly crisp tiny text on the plane, but sadly painters can't alter the position..but you can "…

  8. As Valdez, developed by Gaya Simulations, is now part of this latest package and I still remember fondly the old ORBX version for FSX/P3D, it was obvious for me to have a look here first. Departing from Valdez, I did a short flight with default MSFS, then I shut MSFS down, activated the MSFS2020 Map Enhancement tool (v5.0.7) and did the same flight with google maps activated (from the options available, I chose “mt.google.com”). I also had “High LOD” ticked and on top I have used for both flights the ORBX Alaska mesh. As this post contains some large image files I'm posting it here as per the Mods' request in the original forum.   17. Here's a mini review and screenshots (Part 1) of a rather lengthy flight (well, for me!) of about 570 miles and 2 hours of flying time. This plane is the Black Square Velocity XL - about 28 USD. I thought at first this was just another GA piston single, but I'm actually quite enjoying it - it's a canard design (and appears to be modeled well - and importantly with this design, it is said that it makes the airframe stall resistant), with a very powerful TSIO-550 twin turbocharged engine.
