The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  5. Just a couple of not well planned shots from a test flight in the Honda Jet out of KFAT, Fresno/Yosemite, to KSFO. Floyd's Epic Clouds preset for weather, late afternoon. Still experimenting with all sorts of things in my setup. Looking forward to SU10 but don't want to join the Beta.

  6. Just got the Kodiak today in the sale. I'll RTFM later, but it got off the ground happily enough at Biggin Hill and off we went up towards Docklands. Quite bright down here but looks a bit murky up ahead Heading into the murk now (courtesy of Floyds #5 preset) Well, who knew? There's not a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow - just what I guess is the Millwall FC ground. Carry on across the river and up past the Olympic Stadium And down there I seem to remember those three tower blocks are in Edmonton. I used to live a couple of miles west of here but that was a long time ago now, around 45-50 years now, so I may be mis-remem…

Can't remember where this was, but I had a few trips in this fine beast recently The next couple were up around C53, I think I followed the creek for about 20 minutes - great fun it was And these two are from Montego Bay The 3090ti was a big investment, but it all feels like it's finally getting to be the system I've always hoped for. Got my huge HDR screen, and with the 3090 I can mostly get smooth flying with my settings pretty much how I want them - mostly ultra with a few highs with LODs at 400, and it all feels and looks wonderful. Still stutters a bit in a couple of places but I'm hoping SU10 will take care of that, one way or another.

  8. [Note: The trigger for this post (and this a/c) are bits of my (recent) news readings about SAS and WestJet...] Here is an almost forgotten, and never been popular, but hard-working 737 variant that has been always of special interest to me... (only 69 units of the -600 were built as opposed to 1,128 -700s and 4,989 -800s), I am fond of this one, and surely that's also true for a few others here. The -600 was a significant plane in the 737 NG evolution sequence. Calling "-300/-400/-500" the "Classic" and calling "-600 through -900" the "NG", the (demarcating and special) position of the -600 variant, in the 737-family tree, is indeed significant. -600 is the very first …

I'm doing a bit of flying near Snohomish, WA today - with Ron's new 8AM paint for the Flysimware C414. It's truly a unique one - I like the racing checkers on the tail and winglets. First pic is when I left Paine Field and headed in the direction of S43 Harvey....low and slow, then climbed up to get some fancy cloud pics. Hope you enjoy. And thanks Ron for the paint! 21. OK, let me connect the dots, right away, in my Title...🙂.... I was watching, over the weekend, a re-run of the 1967 movie "GUESS WHO’S COMING TO DINNER"...You might recall the opening credits, with a United Air Lines Douglas DC-8 arriving from Honolulu in San Francisco, and as expected, plentiful exhaust smoke seen pluming from the airplane's four Pratt & Whitney JT3C engines (Side Note: United changed its stylization from United Air Lines (UAL) to United Airlines (UA) about a decade later). But, for this post, I will focus on another UAL a/c, a Boeing 727, that also featured in the same movie, and got me triggered for this post. In the plot of the storyline, later on…
