Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

was checking out the default KABQ to see if I thought it was worth getting the new TropicalSim version (and I think I will) and just grabbed the one shot while I was there Nice part of the world in the sim, and worth a visit. See if you can spot Walter White!

So, having flown up from KDOV, I arrive ready to shake up the town. A (very high) rooftop flight over Manhattan, up the Hudson a little way, climb and turn round and then back down over the city and into JFK. Not sure if it's a function of this aircraft or the sim itself but you get a really impressive sonic boom with this beast, if you're inconsiderate enough to shoot over the city at 800 kts IAS as I did on the way back down. So, arriving from the south - keeping it reasonable, speed-wise if not altitudinally, on the journey north. Nice scenery from DD. I've also got the various RK Bridger NY bridges packages, which really finish the area off nicely.…

Was actually heading off to NYC but just grabbed a couple of shots from the beginning of the journey. Nice new skin for the F-22. The textures on this plane aren't (to my mind) quite up to the default F-22 in P3D, but I'm very glad to have it and hopefully it will continue to improve. Don't ask me about flight models or realism on the controls or any of that stuff - as ever I'm just happy to get it off the ground and down again, and as long as the HUD works and the view out the window is good that's all I ask. It could be a Cub, 777, A380 or F-22, they're all the same to me in that sense (I like to throw that in to infuriate the purists <grin>) So, heading out …

We've just been released to start showing the stubby little Boeing.... I'll be releasing this paint when the -600 releases. Fictional yes, but Lufthansa did fly the -500. 🙂 And who doesn't love LH? I was also asked by a team member for KLM on the -600. Who also doesn't love KLM? hehe. I'm pretty sure the PMDG painters painted every airline she fly with....which was not many. When we ramp up for the -800 though....completely different story!

Hi all, So far I'm very impressed with the cloudscape in the beta. Cloud rendering is markedly better, with less pixelation and graininess. The "volcanic ash clouds" are few and far between - and when they do appear, they look better too. Overall SU10 seems to bring significant improvements in terms of the overall visual experience, and of course massive performance benefits. I don't think the sim has ever been this good 😎 For those of you that are waiting until the release of SU10 - I think you have something to look forward to 🙂 Graphics settings: 4K 3840x2160 | HDR | DX12 | DLSS Qua…

Before leaving, for now, the nice set of (HD) repaints from the JF/CLS Package (please see my previous two posts), here are 9 pictures of the 747-200, in 3 different (well-known) liveries, noting that these (shown) airliners were equipped with engines from 3 different makers (GE CF6 for Alitalia, RR RB211 for British Airways, and P&W JT9D for Qantas...) ... The -200 was the first 747 to provide a choice of powerplant from all the three major engine manufacturers (Pratt & Whitney / Rolls-Royce / General Electric). I've included, below, close up of the engine-sets in the pictures below, for each type, if you wish to view a pictorial comparison. Rolls-Royce brok…

I've had the JF/CLS 747-200, a favorite of mine, since years ago, but though been aware of an upgrade (747-200/300 HD- High Definition) available on the JF website, I'd never thought of acquiring it. Today I read more, and it looks like this upgrade improved the textures, enhanced some of the visual features, and most significantly "...included a comprehensive set of 57 High Definition (HD) liveries of the 747 Classic on 24 different models that include the Passenger and Cargo version with three different engine types along with different flight models for the different versions..."...sounded good enough...especially if one is a fan of the Classic 747 (BTW, the officially…

Took the JF Turbo Arrow 3 for a trip along the Great Alpine Road. Still the best single piston GA out there if you ask me 😉 Flight plan courtesy of In Car from https://worldtour.flights/flightplans/528

Doing some intense testing for the 737, getting things ready for updates hopefully "soon". 🙂 (Sorry, can't say what I do, or don't know, but we're testing hard is all I can say with conviction) 😉 I made a quick hop in the -700 with my Navy paint and captured this very nice morning pic over the Gulf of Mexico on my way from NAS Key West to Tampa Intl. Wish I could show you the earlier flight testing the -600 in my Lufthansa paint, but we haven't been released to do that, yet.

Looking good in the French Air Force training colors! PS, it flies smooth like the Piper Sport but at much faster speeds unlike the Lancair witch is twitchy. Thanks for viewing, Darryl

Checking out the default LIRN, deciding whether to get the RD Presets version or not. I think that addon airport looks great, but Naples has always been one of those areas where I feel the PG sucks. It's a bit better now since the Italy WU, but I'm still not sure. Some of it still feels really off-putting, and I'm not sure I'd want to spend a lot of time there. Shame, as the topography around there is amazing. As they say - "See Naples and die" (and I can never see or hear that phrase that without hearing Victoria Wood adding "see Morecambe and feel like you already have") All the usual ultra, 4k, LOD 400 and Floyd's Presets stuff, and all SDR conversions from HDR …

Just a couple around FT's LGKR, which looks pretty nice, although I haven't explored it in detail yet. This lot's a bit similar to the last set, so next time I might take the F-22 out and go somewhere nice and sunny. Try and ring the changes a bit.

The powerlines addon is indeed amazing... I had not expected that our local lines that span across from Saltspring Island and provide yours truly with power, would show up... but they do! 😉 https://flightsim.to/file/26186/powerlines-and-solar-farms
