The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Another successful conversion project. The HJG Convair 880 in P3D - ready to roll at Fly Tampa's Kai Tak (Hong Kong) A compatible and comparable VC from another model adds another touch to this one which never was done for FSX by anybody and was always a big gap for me in the world of jet airliners.

Ha! After turning to final to Chicago Midway's 23R. Right over "the loop". Note the faux building reflections on Lake Michigan's water! Late afternoon when the sun is on the other side! Whoops! (1820 image if you click)

I don't have the highest opinion of Orbx's stuff generally these days, but the City Packs are usually pretty good, and this is a good one. Heading out from Vpilot's MPTO, which is one of my rare scenery buys from the Marketplace, presumably because it was on offer. And I do like the Kodiak, but I wish all the liveries weren't quite so bright and shiny and new. Just a little bit of dirt or wear would make all the difference. Anyway, the view over the the airport buildings away towards Panama City And away we go Picking up a little bit of drizzle, and a slight rainbow Another showy bit of architecture down below Another Dorothy moment …

My first test at Belfast from Pyreegue Dev Co and Glasgow for the arrival. The FPS are great! i'm between 38-42 FPS with AIG running. Once airborne at 51 FPS. The performances are perfect...i expected the worst but absolutely not. Good thing!

Just a quick flight across the water, to test out MSFS on my new system. Was quite impressed with the results, seeing as I'm using a laptop 🙂

A very twitchy plane to fly, makes for busy rudder control and being A2A, maintenance and regular flying is a must. Cheers

I took off from Mollendo, an airport off the Pacific coast. UPS doesn’t have (yet) any A330s, but together with Amazon they have approached Airbus to convert an extended version of the 330-900 into a freighter version. As far as I know, they still operate some 52 A300-600. Thanks for viewing

In my earlier post, I'd taken a short flight from KBFI (Boeing Field / King County International Airport) to the small Private Airport of Fall City (1WA6), approximately 20 miles east of Boeing Field. Located just outside of the town of Fall City, this airport is a "Private Airport Community". See, below (in shot #1), the large "PRIVATE" marking on the Rwy, where the Rwy marking would normally be... (FAA and AirNav sites list the Runways simply designated as "E/W" = i.e., "EAST/WEST"... 90/270 degrees respectively) ... The town of Fall City, though small, actually seems to pack a big punch as a major tourist attraction. It got its name (most likely) due to its locati…

Fancied a break from the 737, so took a little trip up the PCH from KSBP to go visit Hearst Castle at San Simeon. Had the great pleasure to have visitied this place twice for real, along with a couple of drives up the PCH from LA to SF and vice versa. For a boy from rainy old England that is one paradisiacal trip. Thinking about it, I think the first trip down the highway I did was in a Mustang, but a four wheeled no-winged version. So here we go, heading off from KSBP in a bright leery Mustang. Actually a little too bright for a lot of the captures I took, I'll probably go back and play with the weather settings a bit and see if I can get some calmer shots at some p…

It's a slow saunter from KSSQ Shell Lake, eastbound to intercept US hwy 53, and south to find Chetek WI Y23. Unfortunately my sim keeps crashing to the desktop when I get any nearer to Y23 than the last screenshot. I've tried with a clear community folder but no change. Can someone else check if they can load a flight at Y23? At any rate I liked how the shots came out so I'm going to post them now. Untitled-1 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Ah! I just love owners who care for their aluminum! Untitled-2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr For my real world back taxi I like to offset at untowered airports - easier to spot from the sky. Untitled-3…
