The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Compared to my series on the surroundings of miami (So Natural. So True). Here the weather is mild and stable. I also noticed that the color of the sky is not the same here, which adds an extra dimension. The mountains are magnificent. The cessna is stable and a little heavy on the controls, but the fun is there. I was a bit high on the glide path when I arrived at Seattle airport. I am always impressed by large airports...

Having (personally) experienced the incomparable sights of the Himalayas, once, and the majestic Rockies a few times over, I find Mountains particularly fascinating. No matter where, in the world, the mountains are geographically located, they are usually associated with local myth, lore, legends, mystery, and spiritualism...not to mention their unique historical appeal, recent and ancient. Whether it's Japan's highest mountain, "Mount Fuji", the cultural icon of Japan, or e.g., "Mount Kilimanjaro", one of the most prominent single and freestanding mountains in the world, otherwise known as the roof of Africa, they have been all a source of inspiration and guidance, for h…

Carrying on with my recent interest in the Airbus variants, I wished to fly, today, the Airbus A321, an interesting niche plane, which (remarkably) to this day, still remains (somewhat) a niche plane (see, below reference to "A321XLR"). This was the first (and stretched) derivative of the A320 (longer than A320 by more than 20 ft), just as the A340 (please see my earlier post on A340-600) was the (first) stretched derivative of the A300. A321 is the longest-fuselage member of Airbus' ever-popular (and best-selling), single-aisle A320 Family. Just as the (A340/A330/Skip A320/A310) were considered part of the A300 family (either stretched or shrunk), the (A321/A319/A3…

In today's library (file) uploads, I came across a (unique) repaint of the very last Fokker a/c (a F70 twinjet Reg. PH-KZU) that KLM flew ~5 years ago, on October 28, 2017. This last F70 was delivered to KLM in April 1997, when the Fokker production line closed. KLM's final Fokker flight occurred, when the flight, from London, touched down for the last time, at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. It's also worthy of note that KLM, founded on October 5, 1919, bears the distinction of being the oldest airline in the world still operating under its original name (now as part of the Air France–KLM group). And it's also not unexpected that the very first aircraft, factory-delivered to…
