The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  5. Hi simmers 😃 What a MSFS World now - HALO is coming into MSFS and i find the Idea awesome, things are moving together.. And at the same time it shows what is possible. Now shure that is not for everybody but we now have a Sim that offers different ways to play this simulation; Almost study level, some ligther levels in simming, and we have Game parts we can just play around looking at the great models therefor - an open Sim World - I like the thought that is behind that and brings this Sim up to an unprecedented standard that we never had before. I did some shots and so far i love the model in detail 😎 - but like I said, probably not for everyone.. …

A couple of quickies on an impromptu flight from Algiers to Marrakesh in the DC Designs F-14A. I didn't realize that I was lining up with the sun and the moon until I got to altitude. Funny how things work out, inn'it?

My old man once told me that, when I travel to a foreign country, I should do it by ship. It would give me plenty of time to prepare for it 😊 This of course is hardly possible in today’s world, but in our sim we can always come back to such a mode of transportation. In this particular case I decided to arrive in Singapore on board the former pride of France, the “SS France”. It gives me the opportunity to see parts of the beautiful ORBX Singapore that I usually don’t see too much of, when arriving by plane. Since the latest MSFS update there is no smoke coming out of the smoke stacks anymore. This needs to be addressed (the ship is payware and together with oth…

  14. Hey Guys, Just released this one. Being an ex-Navy guy, I figiured I needed to get one out, and I wanted to do the older version of the C-40 when she wore "Stars-n-Bars". Sadly the world has made the Navy strip off all military markings as they are just a target, but I thought it really set her apart from the average 737. 🙂 I did the "Spirit of New York City" in honor of 9/11....I may paint more "cities" as time goes on. You can get her by clicking the link in my sig. I like how she turned out....just sad we don't have a real combi model so I had to use the Passenger model and paint on the Cargo door. The other way...using the…

  22. (RW) Aircraft painting, just as virtual a/c repainting, is a complex and intricate procedure. BTW, I wish to clarify, right away, that this post is about RW a/c painting in a RW a/c paint shop, and not about "WFH" repainting that our esteemed repainters (equally painstakingly) do for our benefit on their (home-based) virtual canvas, an effort, of course, by no means less praiseworthy and admirable...! The RW aircraft painting is a fascinating subject by itself. First of all, the decision by the airline to paint or polish the metal surfaces of airplanes is based on several (RW) considerations such as (1) Marketing and Branding (e.g., the classic Braniff airline comes to mi…
