Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/

- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.

A lovely flight from North Fork Valley to Lake County (7V2 - KLXV - highest public use airport in North America) @Ron Attwood Thank you for the paint! The mountains are very tall in this area (peaks above 14k) so I elect to fly north out of 7V2 towards Red Table VOR (DBL), and then turn east, passing Aspen (KASE), and then climb above 12500 for just a short while (legal for 30 min in the US without O2) till teaching the valley. I enter the downwind for RY 34 and land... I ended up carry quite a bit of power as the density altitude was fairly high and the field elevation is 9934 msl. This weekend is the famous Formula One Monaco Grand Prix, so let us check out, whether the city has prepared itself for this mega event. 😄 I take off from Nice airport. It’s from here just a short hop over to Monaco. The rich and famous usually have a helicopter shuttle service between their homes in Monte Carlo and the Nice airport. (The Monaco scenery is freeware from the .to site) At the right side of the swimming pool (above the plane’s tail), the bluish viewing area has been properly set up, so it appears that the city is one more time well prepared for this big annual…

This post is triggered by a couple of (member) comments received about Braniff in my previous post on "Panagra" airline which stood for "Pan American-Grace" Airways. Of course, Braniff, in its own right, was a fascinating airline that has always piqued my interest from day one of my involvement in this hobby... Braniff Airways, Inc. (otherwise known as Braniff International Airways) was a highly regarded and innovative airline that operated for more than half-a-century between the 1930s and 1980s. Through the 1970s, Braniff proved itself to be one of the most successful airlines in U.S., with their memorable campaign slogan "The End of the Plain Plane".... aka..."...…

I'm talking to you @guenseli!!!! I can't believe you asked me to paint an LH...like you've done a few times already, and I came through for you in the past. Then when the 1st LH paint hits flightsim.to for the PMDG 737, you change your allegiance to him, hehe. Just kidding my friend....you certainly deserve all the LH paints you get! Anyway....since he did a pretty good LH, it forced me to make an LH Cargo...and I have to say I'm glad I did, this one turned out great! 🙂 I did a lot of good detail, including the red stripes around the sensor up front, LH custom cargo containers, white wings and updated engine spinners (they are part white, part black on t…

I did this flight with PanAm in 1984 and as far as I can remember, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was my first transatlantic flight. This is the P3D CLS 742 with the flight deck of the MSFS default 747. Should anyone of the CLS team see this post, I very much hope, you can bring this iconic plane to MSFS. I guess that I would not be the only one, who would love to buy it! For me, the 742 is the one and only, the real “Queen of the Skies”. I fly over vanilla MSFS scenery and yes, I didn’t refuel 🙂 Close to Cork, Ireland Over central-western Greenland, east of a small settlement called Itilleq (89…

Those, who live in Hamburg, claim it is the most beautiful city in the world. Those, who don’t (like myself) say, it is a very nice city. I take off from Fuhlsbuettel airport Always worth a visit is the old “Speicherstadt” (City of Warehouses). It is the largest warehouse district in the world where the buildings stand on timber-pile (oak logs) foundations. The warehouses were built from 1883 to 1927 as a free zone to transfer goods without paying customs. At its entrance stands the newly constructed concert hall “Elbphilharmony” (Elbe Philharmonic Hall) The yellow, purpose-built, tent-like construction is…

This post is triggered by bits of recent readings about the legendary American Airline...the Pan Am. Whenever and wherever, including in our virtual aviation circle, one comes across the famous (and iconic) blue and white (globe) logo, it evokes a unique sense of nostalgia. As a (bygone) epitome of "luxury and glamour" in early intercontinental travel, it is rarely matched (or even will ever be matched). Pan Am, until its dissolution in 1991, remained a cultural icon of the 20th century air travel. The rise and fall (especially the fall) of this giant are characterized by some of the most fascinating (and tragic) events in the entire history of modern aviation, among whic…
