The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Modern aircraft engines are fascinating...they are also quite amazing. Imagine e.g., that the exemplary (twin) long-hauler B777-300ER could stay in the air on an average 16 hours a day, during non-stop flights, day-after-day, year after year...It's also hard to believe but the high-density-layout 777s (e.g., with Air Canada / Air France) can carry up to 468 passengers...more than the typical capacity of a quadruple-engined B747...! If you have travelled, on such long-haul flights, watching those engines humming along, just outside your cabin window...almost as if they could go on forever...it's impossible not to be impressed, those engines being the most impressive p…

Hello fellow pilots It's been on my mind for a few months, I finally took the time to produce a video on the A320 from FBW. I roasted my 10700K to encode the video in glorious 4K so please take advantage of it ! Addons used and hardware are in the description. Being a fairly newcomer to video editing, I beg your forgiveness, but your kind comments are welcome!

I don't normally fly in this area - but I found this stunning RV14 livery: https://flightsim.to/file/31613/vans-rv-14a-ec-vib And since it's a Spaniard I needed to fly in Spain haha - plus I got to broaden my horizons (thanks Google lol). I learned the river seen in pic two here separates France from Spain (the airport is on the Spanish side) and the nice beach is on the French side I also found some nice PG scenery at the same site along with both airports. Wow if there are any Spaniards here - your county is very beautiful! I'm also going to screw up some of the names of things I found along the way hehe Also I see there a control zone above 1000 ft in …

Queen Mary II is moored at Circular Quay in the ORBX Sydney city scenery. So I thought, why not let the original Queen Mary visit her. She must be terribly bored at her resting place in Long Beach, so let’s take her out to visit Australia. The Queen Mary is an FSX model, which I ported over to MSFS. After a long, but very enjoyable journey, she is seen here approaching Watsons Bay She is about to round South Head, which allows her to enter Sydney Harbour On our starboard side we pass Mosman Bay The bridge deck clearly shows that this ship is not an MSFS model, but it still looks nice and is pretty close to the or…

A first attempt at an ILS landing with the new JF 146. Bit of a mess, I may not have everything set correctly. Only picked up the glideslope about a mile out & I had hand flown it to there because the AP wasn't locking on for the 'S' approach. But it did ILS the last bit quite nicely while I juggled the throttles, airbrakes & flaps. Wanted to land next to the runway though. Learning experience - get the speed down a long way out and stick to straight in approaches.😀 T45

As follow-up to my Wales tour, in this Part II, I continue my journey beyond Cardiff, northward, over the lush-green hills, valleys and meadows of Wales (see shots below), towards the Snowdonia mountains, and then return back to Cardiff in the dusk light... It was a worthwhile visit of Wales...though virtual....and the (capable and lovable) Golden Eagle was good fun too...!! Thanks for viewing...!!

[Excuse my "catchy" title...🙂...so, right away, I wish to clarify that the reference to "Golden Eagle" is to the Cessna 421 a/c of the same name...Anyway, here is the account of my (virtual) journey in Wales, in 2 Parts...with pictures to view and travel notes...if you wish to read...] A short while ago, I'd posted about (Alabeo's) Cessna C404 Titan touring the Central Rockies. At that time, I'd also picked up the (Alabeo) Cessna 421C Golden Eagle but had not flown it till today. In this post, I fly this nice twin-prop (with piston engines, no turboprops...but no issues there...), visiting Wales, an Orbx region, which, pretty much, I do not recall exploring in much d…
