Final segment of PAWD - PANC. Emerging on to Turnagain Arm - home to the second highest tide in North America. The 'Bore' tides allow surfers lots of board time (wear your longjohns). Right about over my old home - lots of air traffic in such a relatively small area. Denali, on the right, is about 170 miles while 'Sleeping Lady' (Mt Susitna) on the left is a mere 45.

Arrival into Denver - first I decided to get lower as 390 was quite turbulent. Two large lakes are great enroute landmarks. Kenai Lake - large 'L' shape (maybe a 'J') and lots of fish. Summit Lake - nice resort, float planes and fish. Highway to Kenai, Homer lower right.

Hey Folks, As the title says "Collection of Pics from Recent Flights". Includes some recently installed planes I've fixed/modded. First up is the Jabiru 160, seeing this post and video linked here prompted a Jabiru flight, it's quite a nice easy to fly sport type of aircraft. This is one of Iris Simulations they gave away during Covid, noting it did need a bit of work to move from x86 to x64. Next is a Carenado Pilatus PC12, which I installed a week ago. Now normally with a Carenado aircraft there are a host of errors to fix, these being mostly the result of copy/paste errors, typos and the odd bit of poor logic, however this one…

And some view of the new Fly Tampa Boston scenery. My overall impressions of it - it's really nice - and a steal for the price of about 20 USD. Some of the buildings away from the terminal have lower quality textures - likely to save space/performance. I would have liked to see them looking nicer... especially the front of the Delta hangar has a nasty logo hehe. Years ago I won an addon competition at flightsim.com - my screenshot was of a 737 departing BOS - I'm pretty sure it was a FlyTampa scenery for FS9. A short IFR hop from Pueblo Memorial (KPUB) to Rocky Mountain Metropolitan (KBJC) in beautiful Live Weather. Started with clear skies over KPUB and ended with a front approaching over Denver as my trusty Piper Arrow 3T and I headed North.

Hi fellow pilots I wanted to share one of my most memorable recent flight between Palma de Majorque and Copenhagen. Nothing special here, just one of those flight where all the planets align, good weather (spotted some new clouds variations), great AI, gorgeous livery.

In my previous post, I'd explored the fascinating KCMW (Cushman Meadows) scenery pack from Orbx, which comes with an interesting additional (hypothetical) airstrip.... Bear Gulch (WA38). Bear Gulch Airport consists of a unique wooden (bridge-like) runway segment (see shots below), thanks to the imagination of the scenery creator. A small creek goes underneath the runway and this creek is spanned by the narrow wooden structure which forms part of the total runway (my simulation MAP shows the length of the Rwy as 1411 feet, and elevation 760 feet). The Cushman Meadows (KCMW) is a small but scenic airport located in the mountainous and picturesque region of the Olympic Peninsula...in western Washington. The surrounding landscape is dominated by the spectacular Olympic Mountain range (see shots below). Here are 20 pictures at and around KCMW airport...as visited on the ground, and from the sky in a Piper PA-31 Chieftain (my flying observatory...🙂...rather than the static (makeshift) one, on the ground, shown in one of the shots, below).
