The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

757 has been always a favorite of mine...both in SIM and from RW flights in it...have flown several times in the 757s of AA, who had operated 177 of those planes, before their forced retirement, last year, due to the pandemic. I recall my first 757 flight, years ago,...I was late to the (O'Hare) Gate...and while rushing, I happened to ask a uniformed stewardess approaching from the other direction...for a bit of help...she had told me, "...your plane is waiting...a few gates down...on RHS...it will be a thin and long plane...you cannot miss it..."...exactly that's what it was...hard to miss...no wonder it was called the "Flying Pencil"...The 757 had exactly filled the mar…

I took my first trip on a plane since pre-covid last week and headed west to the Rockies for a week of skiing and other high altitude fun. Absolutely beautiful and great for the soul after the past two years. Of course I wanted to retrace some of my travels in MSFS...I flew from Banff (CYBA) out to Lake Louise, I can't imagine Parks Canada would take kindly to such shenanigans in real life!

[Note: This post was triggered by a couple of (worthy) recent sightings, in this forum, of the "immortal" DHC-2 Beaver..."arguably the best bush plane ever built"..."the world's greatest bush plane"...so to speak...and one of the most endearing and most successful symbols in aviation history...carrying on the torch for the memories of founder Geoffrey de Havilland...For this virtual aviator, the DHC-2 Beaver was one of the first ever "payware" purchase, and I'm 100% sure it was my very first purchase from Aerosoft...decades ago...while at one later point, I had owned almost all the a/c that AS had to offer. Anyway, here, below, I'm flying the same dated and legacy (AS) DH…
