The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  2. Carribean Trek - 4 Key West to Cancun, Mexico. Our short time in Key West was quite enjoyable as you could see through the previous posting. It offered a truely American tropical experience. Now we are off to Cancun, on the Yucitan Peninsula of Mexaco, for some different cultural experiences! (Note: click on any for a larger image) Off of KEYW Key west, Key West and Stock Islands behind and below. This departure offers a distinctive look at the round shape of the Stock Island Yacht Club and Marina Now heading west back over Key West. The scattered layer of cumulus provides a different perspective. A better perspective of the dense population …

  3. In couple of my earlier posts, I'd explored the majestic mountain ranges of the Central Rockies. And, in one of those posts, I'd alluded to the Epic adventures of Lewis & Clark Expedition, where there are significant references to the Bitterroot Mountains of the Central Rockies, at the Idaho–Montana border, through which, in the fall of 1805, the Expedition had struggled for passage, on foot, for eleven grueling days, to eventually cross the formidable Rockies barrier over to the other side of the Continental Divide...! It is generally agreed that this segment was the most arduous and dangerous of their entire journey. Here’s Meriweather Lewis, describing what it…

  7. The Evektor EV-55 Outback is a twin-engine turboprop aircraft designed and built in the Czech Republic by Evektor-Aerotechnik. The prototype first flew on 24 June 2011. The aircraft with a very detailed modern avionics 3d-cockpit is available at x-plane.org together with a fine what-if livery pack, including this beautiful Loganair paintjob.

There's not a lot around Longreach, WA except for cattle stations ( really big cattle stations) and space. It's a 2.5 hour flight to Mackay on the coast. Taking a look around the upgraded airport can reveal some interesting things though. MSFS has done a great job here and in Mackay.

  22. After a couple of days golfing near Hilton Head, SC, we depart for Ft Myers, Florida, to rendezvous with a fourth couple at their condo. From there we will head to Key West, Florida, for a couple of days before departing for our first Caribbean stop at Cancun, Mexico, on the Yucatan Peninsula. A better view of the BullfrogSim KHXD scenery addon that is available over on TO. Nice views of Hilton Head Island and the pattern of the inland water bodies shortly after takeoff. I see I still had my landing lights on. Passing Jekyll Island, Georgia, and the Jekyll Sound. A look at Amelia Island, Florida, just sou…
