Completed a familiarity flight today from KMFY - Page Field, Ft Myers, Florida, to MWCR- Owen Roberts Intl on Grand Cayman, in the Cayman Islands, located in the Caribbean Sea south of Cuba. Getting familiar with the route again as well as gaining some valuable familiarizaton in the Kodiak 100. I will soon be making a three week trek through the Caribbean islands and countries. Recently, there has been several (excellent) B767 posts, here...by another member (a 767 fan) ...🙂...even painting fresh (own) liveries of the plane in interesting colors. 767 is a fascinating plane, indeed, for aviation enthusiasts. For myself, as I'm thinking now, the only (one) occasion I clearly recall, in RW, of ever having flown in a 767, was with Air Canada (in the so-called Toothpaste Livery), from Toronto to Montreal, many years ago...that too was a last-minute substitution, due to some (mechanical?) issue with the (originally scheduled) a/c, and that's why I still recall that impromptu (and short) 767 flight so well... After having just installed WU7, which concentrates on Australia, I was keen to check on a few places that I have been to. One of them was Cairns. Here we go: Over Green Island This looks almost unbelievable I think I need to get onto my boat, which is of similar vintage and start exploring the Great Barrier Reef a bit more thoroughly 🙂 Thanks for viewing

Inspired by Bernd and his great pics of MSFS Cairns after WU7, I fired up XP 11 and looked what Cairns looks ike in XP 11.55. So here are a few pics showing default YBCS and Simheavens X-Australia-Oceania.

KCRQ is a class Delta airport located in Carlsbad, CA, USA. It opened in 1959 to the public. The airspace immediately above CRQ belongs to SoCal TRACON and typically the frequency in this area is 119.6 (though technically the airport falls just outside of the Miramar Class Bravo). The airport is towered from 1500z-0600z (7am-10pm local time). Runway 6/24 is the only runway and is nearly 5000 ft in length by 150 ft wide, comprised of asphalt. Both ends are equipped with PAPIs and RWY 24 has approach lighting in the form of MALSR, and of course runway edge lighting exists at this airport.
