The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Completed a familiarity flight today from KMFY - Page Field, Ft Myers, Florida, to MWCR- Owen Roberts Intl on Grand Cayman, in the Cayman Islands, located in the Caribbean Sea south of Cuba. Getting familiar with the route again as well as gaining some valuable familiarizaton in the Kodiak 100. I will soon be making a three week trek through the Caribbean islands and countries. My Winter getaway from the cold here in the eastern and midwest USA. Nice View of Stock Island and Big Coppitt Key toward the west end of Key West Florida, Some typical pop up weather over the Straits of Florida between Key West and Cuba. Pop it's here, Pop it's gone! Recently, there has been several (excellent) B767 posts, here...by another member (a 767 fan) ...🙂...even painting fresh (own) liveries of the plane in interesting colors. 767 is a fascinating plane, indeed, for aviation enthusiasts. For myself, as I'm thinking now, the only (one) occasion I clearly recall, in RW, of ever having flown in a 767, was with Air Canada (in the so-called Toothpaste Livery), from Toronto to Montreal, many years ago...that too was a last-minute substitution, due to some (mechanical?) issue with the (originally scheduled) a/c, and that's why I still recall that impromptu (and short) 767 flight so well... Today, besides the lingering impressio…

After having just installed WU7, which concentrates on Australia, I was keen to check on a few places that I have been to. One of them was Cairns. Here we go: Over Green Island This looks almost unbelievable I think I need to get onto my boat, which is of similar vintage and start exploring the Great Barrier Reef a bit more thoroughly 🙂 Thanks for viewing

I've acquired Orbx (CRM) since some time, but, have hardly explored it...in much detail...except for, once, the (remarkable) Jackson Hole and Grand Teton region...via a post here. So, today, I am taking a ~200 miles trip, from Missoula (Montana), near Idaho border, lifting off from the dirt strip of the nearby (privately owned) Horner Field Airport (MT49), flying south along the narrow valleys skirted by the spectacular Bitterroot Mountain range of the Central Rockies, then crossing over the Montana-Idaho border to finally land on the (asphalt) runway of (U62) Mackay Airport, Idaho. In the Epic (westward) adventuress of Lewis & Clark Expedition, there are signifi…

KCRQ is a class Delta airport located in Carlsbad, CA, USA. It opened in 1959 to the public. The airspace immediately above CRQ belongs to SoCal TRACON and typically the frequency in this area is 119.6 (though technically the airport falls just outside of the Miramar Class Bravo). The airport is towered from 1500z-0600z (7am-10pm local time). Runway 6/24 is the only runway and is nearly 5000 ft in length by 150 ft wide, comprised of asphalt. Both ends are equipped with PAPIs and RWY 24 has approach lighting in the form of MALSR, and of course runway edge lighting exists at this airport. There is also a designated helipad with edge lighting on the eastern end of the …
