The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Up off KFMY, Page Field, Ft Myers with Stormy Skies. Pireps indicated plenty of breaks in the clouds when above 5,000. We cruised at 9,000 today. Over I-75 looking at the east side of the Miromar Lakes area. Angry Faces appear in the Clouds as we near the edge of the weather. Interstate 75 turns East from Naples toward Ft Lauderdale. Over Naples with a a view of the long beaches along the southwest Florida coast line. Passing Ten Thousand Island just south of Marco Island, which is the southern most resort area on the Florida gulf coast. East and south of this point are the vast Big Cypress and Everglades Nationa…

Yes, short and clear! Airfoillabs C172NG in action around Mont Blanc, great scenery for sightseeing. Weather was a bit sketchy, so I could see the mountain top only from a bit further away, but still was a nice experience avoiding clouds among the mountains. Downloaded from FlyAwaySimulation website, The Alps (Western) Photoreal Scenery.

  10. OK, I got your attention...first of all, I'm a bit of a fan of the MI6 Agent's (incredible) globe-trotting exploits...especially when airplanes are involved...if you are both an aviation fan and a Bond fan, please read on, otherwise you may directly jump to the screenshots, below... (BTW, planning for this post, today, was effective few hours of diversionary exercise for this weekend...) ... Couple of months ago, after a break of nearly 2 years, I'd ventured into the local theater for a viewing of the latest Bond Saga, No time to Die. Quite conscious of the pandemic risks in such a closed quarter, I'd selected a weekday, and also the first scheduled show of the day. …

Timbuktu, is an old city in the western African country of Mali. It was historically important as a trading post on the trans-Saharan caravan route and as a center of Islamic culture (c. 1400–1600). It is located on the southern edge of the Sahara, about 13 km (8 miles) north of the Niger River. The city was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1988. In 2012, in response to armed conflict in the region, Timbuktu was added to the UNESCO List of World Heritage in Danger. Leaving Casablanca it is obvious, which plane to choose To our right side is the Hassan II mosque. Built in 1993, it is the second largest functioning mosque in Af…

  20. I have been meaning to support my Orbx (CRM) region with a couple of new custom (Orbx) Airport sceneries. To that objective, a week or so ago, I'd acquired the Orbx add-on for (KBZN) Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, located in Montana, 8 miles northwest of the town of Bozeman; so, I installed it to partake in a virtual visit of this airport. And, looking for a small new aircraft... (been lately flying too many of those (heavy) jetliners...) ...I also got, this week, the Milviz T-50 Bobcat... (had it on my radar for some time) ...the Cessna Bobcat was made largely of wood, spawning its nickname, the "Bamboo Bomber"... (metal, especially aluminum been in scar…

  24. And we're off! Caribbean Trek 2022, and the first time this normally bienial trek has taken flight in MSFS 2020. We missed making a trek during the past two years due to the pandemic. The last one was at this time of year in 2018. Six of us are packed into my Robert Young Turbo Bonanza (RYTB) for this first leg from my homebase at Easton, Maryland (KESN), to Hilton Head, South Carolina. Us three couples will golf there for two days, move over to a SMW Kodiak 100, and continue to Ft Myers, Florida. A fourth couple awaits us at their winter condo. From there we will fly to Key West, Fl, for a couple of days, and then from there head to Cancun for several days.…

  25. Now, as last time I went astray posting a few jetfighter pics and P-7878 kindly reminded me of my preference for turboprops, here are a few from today, depicting a Continentall Connection Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 approaching KDCA Ronald Reagan Intl. airport. Final approach was a bit on the fast side with a jet following behind. 😉Enjoy!
