The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Still over Georgia with the majestic Caucasus Mountains near us Crossing the Crimean peninsula, which is not really advisable these days Deep into Ukrainian airspace with the Carpathian mountains below Clouds over Romania In safer territory again, Frankfurt here we come Thanks for viewing.

Trying to match this photo I took April 20th 2020 of a transient C-17 Globemaster while spotting at KLAS. This gorgeous work in progress C-17 Globemaster is available at flightsim.to This is about as close as I can get with the drone cam zoom with my camera's telephoto lens.

We do have some nice freeware for this sim! This airport is no different, it's Duluth, MN USA - where I used to be an air traffic controller along with some occasional flying fun. Duluth will handle any aircraft and I've even seen the "small" Antonov 124 there. It's a super short flight from Minneapolis, and is also great place to start or end a flight. It's also within a fairly short range of Chicago, Denver, Winnipeg - great for your regional jets as well. There are many instrument approaches to the field, along with radar approaches or ASR's (where a controller will vector you or give you turn right/turn left instructions to about 400 ft agl). Over the years I wo…

Eastbound up off of MWCR - Owen Roberts Intl, on Grand Cayman Island. The resorts, beaches, and night life are mostly back on the west end and over on the southwest coast. After vectoring over the eastern Cayman islands of Little Cayman and Cayman Brac I headed north. Here is a view of the northern Cuban island of Cayo Coco after overflying the mainland of Cuba. Cayo Coco is the largest island in the island chain known as "Jardines del Rey" and is a valued resort and vacation destination. The Caribbean region presents some consistent scenery. This is a view of the southwest Water Cays south of Nassau, the Bahamas. Similar in appearance to the islands o…

These first five screenshots were captured during segments of a flight from Ft Myers, Florida, to Hilton Head, South Carolina, as I get my leased Kodiak 100, two-sixty-two Pappa, in position to begin a Caribbean trek. The weather started just south of Lakeland and continued until past Gainesville. Some incredible clouds, caught between layers at 9,000 ft. Looks like a vortex in the center of this shot, off behind the tail. Some stunning cloud formations and color. Looking more ominous despite tbe break off the right wing. I chose 9,000 ft to stay under reported icing conditions and above light to moderate chop reported at lower altitudes…

I spotted this repaint sitting at the top today's (freeware) files in the library...and liked the slogan on the fuselage... This is a fictional livery as Prime Air does not have any 747-8F in their fleet. As seen in these pictures, the 747-8F freighters are powered by GEnx engines. Enjoy...!
