Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

This is from during my departure from Lincoln, Nebraska, on Tuesday afternoon of this week. The University of Nebraska is below, with its Memorial Stadium (football) under the left wing. The color of my Robert Young Turbo Bonanza (RYTB) a stark contrast to the monochromatic look of winter below. Bijan's Four Seasons package is in use here along with MSFS Live Weather. You can just feel the cold! And here is a few minutes later over southeast Nebraska. At 7,000 ft my OAT was -16°C.

A few days ago, I came across a twitter post that showed a retro Air France B777 freighter. I hadn't seen this livery before and certainly wasn't aware that AF had a freighter in that scheme. A little internet sleuthing proved the tweet to be fictional (should've known!). Still, how cool would it be if Air France really had a retro B777 freighter? With the magic of Photoshop, why not find out?!?! This repaint is not really based on the twitter example I saw a few days earlier, but rather, loosely based on the 75th anniversary Air France A321 retro livery (F-GFKJ) with the older tail design. Personally, I think this paint scheme looks pretty good o…

Folks: Here are a few a/c samples that caught my attention today, when I was looking around in the freeware library...Enjoy...! [3 pics] Yakovlev Yak-23 (Nato Name "Flora"): Yak-23 was a jet fighter developed in the USSR in the 1940s and used in early 1950s (reminds one of the F-86 Sabre, which also had first flight, later in the same year, 1947). The Yak-23 would be later replaced in the Soviet service by no other than the legendary MiG-15. Notice the non-conventional layout with a jet engine in the fuselage nose and the exhaust under-belly, directly under the cockpit. The specimen, shown below, with civilian markings SP-GLK, was the one on which, on September 21, …

From my just released Ulrichen - LSMC scenery. Download as freeware here: LSMC - Ulrichen » Microsoft Flight Simulator The trailer video: Spectacular canyon approach: New jet fuel is being delivered (also the real tank cars are used for that purpose, as they are labeled with "Düsen Kraftstoff" = "jet gasoline" 🙂): Cross the young Rhone (Rotten called up there) over a wooden bridge! Fighters lining up on a wooden bridge before a railroad crossing, a scene only possible in Ulrichen:

The CRJ Arrival...it's back (coming from the P3d version to MSFS2020) Just wish someone including Aerosoft would do a good version of the E-Jet (E170-E195) series which is a lot more common in my flying area. Thanks for viewing and maybe commenting, Darryl

I just realised I've not actually visited NY in MSFS. Can't think why, so off I went. Out of JFK, which looks pretty good for a default airport, and off towards Manhattan Approaching Nyack up ahead on the left. I had a couple of teaching trips here back in the day. Loved the town. Small, quite peaceful, and a lovely little downtown section with a few really good secondhand-book shops - always a good indicator of civilisation as far as I'm concerned I think, but I'm not sure, this may have been the place I was teaching. If I look closely with the drone the buildings are marked as shopping mall stuff, but I was at the P…

There are already a few nice video reviews out from Carenado's latest payware addon, the C337 Skymaster. I've always liked screenshots though. So here are some of my thoughts along with a few simple liveries I've done - most of which are just changing colors to match real liveries, with some additional texture tweaks. I don't many words to say. I do like the product and I think the asking price is reasonable. I think Carenado started pricing too high initially for MSFS addons. I believe I paid about 35 for the Mooney (which remains my favorite - especially with this Turbo mod: https://flightsim.to/file/21351/mooney-m20r-ovation-tubo-mod ). This C337 comes in …

Finished up a new texture basis for this bird, so brought her out to Liege i think its BDOA ELBG, in anyhow i put pbr on the surfaces because i like the airport and fly out of it quite a few. About the aircraft; i redid all of the metallic textures for a better look, added a ''tincanning'' effect to the front section, even though it doesnt realy have the round type tin-canning from boeing planes but a more square something, also redid some paint parts of the paintkit resulting in this beautifull white (and dirty) WGA livery, i have a bunch more liveries on the old paint-kit which i will be transfering when im done.. may'be ill upload it all to avsim, w…
