The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

So what do you do when you have an excess inventory of retired B767 aircraft? During the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic, Air Canada (as well as Air Canada Rouge) retired their B767 fleets. In 2021, Air Canada announced they would be entering the lucrative Cargo business with 8 retired B767's. This particular airframe is the first of 8 planned ERBDSF conversions for the new Air Canada Cargo. This particular airframe was completed as a cargo (ERBDSF) conversion and delivered to Toronto from Ben Gurion on December 5th, 2021. This particular airframe was actually expidited into commencial service due to the British Columbia floods that started on November 15.…

Showing off the RSP H125 (freeware) https://flightsim.to/file/25212/airbus-h125-helicopter-project - They are at 1.2 I think now and the chopper is feeling a lot better. Still needs a lot of work in the cockpit but basic instruments work. Supports PMS GTN 650 (reminds me hmmm I need to make a TDS GTN 650 drop in!) This is another interesting livery: So why paint this one for the CS B767-II? 1) This repaint was actually requested over on the CS forum 2) I was looking for an interesting, European repaint to cover 3) Nostalgia: Back in the early/mid 2000's, I was living/working in the UK. At the time (FS2004 I recall), the Level-D B767 (and previous version - PIC767) were THE "study level" sim to have. I still remember walking into a computer store in Aberdeen City Center (yeah, remember brick and mortar computer stores???) to pick up my boxed copy of the LDS 767. I don't know how many hours I spent at the screen flying that sim...all very enjoyable hours! LD…

  15. Hey Folks, Orbx has a sale on, not that a sale is needed for LWSK as it's a freebee !!! Great for a freebee, and great performance too. I've been using it as a test scenario departure point for modifications I'm doing to the Carenado Turbo Commander 690B Essentually I installed "Bill's" v6.1 mods and have then been working through bug fixing for a v6.2 release. Mostly today's been about getting the cabin pressure gauge working (it's tied to the Autopilot in these mods), and that reverse polish notation sure makes it difficult to understand what it's doing. I'd ask Bill but unfortunately "Bill" is MIA it seems (since doing a home renovation), …

A couple of early morning screenshots of my PMDG Boeing 737-600 NGX on final approach to runway 33 at EGBB Birmingham in England (ORBx TrueEarth GB South\UK2000 Birmingham Xtreme v3\REX Texture Direct 4). As you can see, P3Dv4.5 can look extremely realistic with the right addons. https://www.mediafire.com/view/ypmz2jwzdvo7dtm/2021-12-30_8-48-26-125_%282%29.jpg/file https://www.mediafire.com/view/09y00wcauscg6fx/2021-12-30_8-48-55-518_%282%29.jpg/file Apologies for no direct images here. 20. [Note: Here, below, is a bit of Alaska Airlines' history...if you're interested, followed by a set of Boeing 737-200 Combi images...] Among the U.S. Airlines, Alaska Airlines has one of the most colorful and fascinating histories. There was a time when I used to regularly read up about the past and present of this airline...e.g., in one of my previous posts, I'd alluded to some details, I'd read years ago, about how Alaska Airlines, with its 737-400s, had pioneered "proprietary" and "un-published" (but "approved") GPS-aided (RNP RNAV) IFR approaches, for many of the difficult (terrain) Alaska airports that lacked conventional landing and approach aids. Rooted in its ori…

In my previous post, I'd posted a few images of "KLM" MD-11 PMDG (Pax) Model, for a special and personal reason. I'd indicated there that I've ended up (also) acquiring the SKYSIM MD-11, driven by my affection...🙂...for this a/c... I spent a little bit of time, today, to get just a feel for this SIM...so here, below, please find 10 pictures of a Lufthansa MD-11 Freighter. BTW, contrary to my previous (mistaken) assumption, Lufthansa, had never deployed any MD-11 in the passenger mode, but they did operate 12 DC-10s for pax transport, between 1973 and 1996. If my memory serves me right, I might have travelled on their DC-10s, but mostly I recall well travels on their …

Should have this one wrapped up by tomorrow. Really like this paint scheme! Researching this one, it turns out this aircraft primarily flies the PHNL - KLAX route (6 times per week) with an occasional excursion up to KSEA. Although I'm not a fan of the winglets on the 67, I couldn't resist giving this one a try.
