The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Flight testing custom gauge work (auto cabin pressure gauge), where as it happened the cabin pressure was automatically maintained just fine (has taken a few interations) based on chosen AP altitude and a pressure diff of 5.2 max. Big Bear was chosen as a departure because it is a relatively high altitude airport. Turning for the 27L lineup, pressure gauge holding up well. And parked, all went well and no gauge crazies. Cheers

I'd mentioned earlier in my previous post that (only) recently I picked up the (CS) B737-100 Expansion model, the required Base 200 Model, for which, I've owned for more than a decade. Somehow, I had never got to acquire the 737-100 variant, until last week, though I recall been active in the CS Forum, when CS originally released their 737-200 in step-wise iterations. I remember because...there was a bit of clamor about "where is the GPS switch on this aircraft, so that one can navigate with it more easily...🙂...?" and been unceremoniously (but correctly) ...🙂...told to fly the way the a/c was supposed to be flown...with the help of navaid-to-navaid navigation, without GP…

[Note: A week or so ago, from the CS sale, I'd picked up several of their "incremental" add-on model variations, the base models for which I've owned since many years...e.g. 737-100 (the smallest 737 ever produced; 737-100 had entered service with Lufthansa in Feb. 1968, and the (more common) 737-200 had done so with United just 2 months later in Apr. of same year), 737-200 C (Combi) / F (Freighter), Boeing 777-300, and Lockheed L-1011 Freighter Expansion (subject of this post)... etc.] Now, whether it's Tu-154, HS Trident, MD-11, or L-1011...all these classic (and large) Trijets, of the yester years, are fascinating in their own characteristic ways...both look wise …

Flying a new paint with Deejing's lovely RV7 from freeware 4B8 Robertson Field to Latin VFR's Windsor Locks KBDL It's a short flight so I climb up above Yankee TRACON's class C and maneuver, then descend VFR and shoot the RNAV 33 practice approach with vectors to final. Here are some teaser shots... I'm not sure I'm ready to publish this one just yet...not quite happy with the tail at the moment...I want to see if I can clean it up a little more. Also quick flight to check out my new Orbx Cityscape Sydney scenery. A little history on this one... Australian Airlines was founded in 2002 as an all economy brand of Qantas, operating a fleet of five B767-300ER's that were transferred from Qantas' existing fleet. The Australian Airlines namesake was actually re-purposed from TAA (Trans Australia Airlines) which Qantas acquired in 1992. The Australian Airlines B767 aircraft flew both domestic and international routes, with a…

Please enjoy these pics as I think they turned out really well. Leaving LVFR's BDL headed north towards another freeware airport, KMVL Untitled-2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr A couple of "cessna 130's" as the controllers like to joke about.
