The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  4. The images are in the order, listed below. This nice-looking (bright and blue) Air Antilles C47 livery is from 1974. Air Antilles was founded in 1954 under the name of Antilles Air Service and was known so until 1964. It operated regular and charter services in the French West Indies. Who doesn't like to see one (more) image of the "Spit"... (please also see painter's credit, below) ...? The legendary plane was produced in mind-boggling variations (Mk I -> Mk 24). Here is an image of Mark IX of the Free French Air Force. The Spitfire Mk IX was originally developed as a stopgap measure as a response to the appearance of (another legend) Focke-Wulf FW 190A. T…

  5. A short while ago I'd acquired the freighter versions of several (classic) jetliners, the pax versions of which I'd owned for many years... (e.g., 727-100F/200F and 737-200F). At that time, I'd also acquired the freighter version of the (JF) BAe 146-300 series aircraft, but I had never got to fly it. The freight-carrying versions of BAe carried the designation "QT" (Quiet Trader). Please find below a sample set of (lift-off) pictures of the BAe146-300QT, in the color of the Australian Cargo and Charter Carrier, Cobham Aviation Services, which is a service provider with its headquarters in Adelaide, South Australia. After merger with Qantas, its operation has continu…

A proper evening IFR flight from San Diego to Los Angeles. I put the route on the VFR sectional so it's easier to see where I flew. (It was yesterday but I didn't have time to post hehe). Routing: KSAN OCN V23 SLI (vectors) ILS 25L KLAX. Flying the lovely Flysimware C414 with TDS GTN 750 Xi's. Please enjoy! Two of my favourites planes so far Dreamfoil Embraer Banderainte 110 Vulkan Ready!! (Fuel, Lighting, Sound and everything else working perfectly) and EMB-55P 300. Really want to get Thandra Cessna, HotStart TBM 900 and HotStart Challenger 650.

  17. The CRM (Central Rocky Mountain) region, encompassing the states of (Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming) is saturated with mountains...And Mountains are always special...not just in the way they were geologically formed millions of years ago.... but they are often associated, by ancient civilizations, with mystic and spiritual qualities and legends. In (more) modern times, they have served as important landmarks in navigation. Of course, they can also present significant challenges and obstacles to flight...not to be taken lightly. History of aviation is replete with accounts of accidents and incidences involving mountains. The applicable term is "CFIT = Controlled flight Into T…

Practice approaches... Flying around Duluth and Northern Minnesota, USA. In a very well equipped C414A from FSW. I elected to stay below the clouds however, as the bases were about 4200 and I was picking up moderate rime. Pics begin as Duluth approach gives me direct to DEHBU for the RNAV(GPS) runway 3 approach at KDLH As long as you don't mind a season of Winter from November through April....it's a nice place to live! 0JDdlh by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr We're beautifully equipped to fly any approach! 0JDdlh3 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Turning onto final approach course - St Louis River in the background - in 2012 we had a m…

Good evening, here are some pics of the stock missionobjects.bgl Oil rig which i have revised a tad, It was lacking any real lighting and the textures in some areas where quite low res, After receiving feedback for my oil rig scenery package I did for a few off shore rig pilots for their full size simulator Ive updated some textures and added some lights as it was horrible to try and land during low light I hope to upload it soon, so anyone who uses any oil rig scenery that uses this stock model. will see the change and be able to find the rig land quite easily after dusk
