With Servinfo, I looked up several centers to connect to RW and, somehow, cannot connect. They have voice, but somehow I cannot figure out how to connect. What's the secret?tony

Hi Guys,I need some help. I was logged on to the vatsim whilst flying from EHAM to EGLL today.THE PROBLEM:-----------1)My flight no AI777,and name did not appear on the Servinfo site under "All Pilots". Although I had logged in with my Vatsim ID and p/word.2)I was corresponding with other pilots (BAW460 & BAW 780)online with SB but everytime I had to type in my message, the FS paused.?My Questions:-------------1) What do I need to do to have my name and flt no appear on the Servinfo site during flt.?2)How do I avoid the flightsim getting "paused" everytime I send a message on the Squawkbaox or open the RW channel box?Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,Naval.

Hi Guys,I have installed Servinfo 2.02.Yesterday whilst using Squawk Box, I filed and sent my flight plan, but it did not show up on the servinfo database under "all pilots".Why???Can anyone throw some light on this??Regards,Naval.

Hi, new user trying to get into SB for the first time.When I try to 'Connect' using SB.3.5 (FS2k2) I get nothing for approx 10 seconds, then a dialog box"WSAETIMEDOUT The attempt to login timed out without connection" or something like that...Any help??

Trying to get back into VATSIM. Last couple of nights planned on getting online. Get stuck after I connect, when it only gives me the UNICOM frequency, even though it shows that their are controllers active in the area. I am trying to fly out of SFO, and there are usually OAK or SFO controllers at night, and it shows so when I check who is online.I am using FS2002 on an XP system, with Squawkbox 2.3.0.5, and with registered FSUIPC 3.201.I bet its only a little thing, any help would be appreciated. Hello,I use a simple dial-up connection/ modem for the Internet. While, a couple of weeks ago everything worked fine, suddenly FS9 refuses to see "sbrelay-FS2004" session, unless I am offline. Moreover, when FS9-sbrelay-Sq connection is achived (only offline) and then I connect to VATSIM (online), sbrelay displays error messages like:Added player '...' to FS2002 session.Error 0x80158510 Connecting to Host.This means that a player is added to FS2002 session, but not in FS2004 session, so I have no online visual traffic around me. Hi,Can someone tell me how I have to configure NIS when flying online.I'm using the following programs/components:FS9SBRelaysbhost.dllSquawkboxServInfoAVCEverything seems to work OK but yet I'm receiving lots of intrution alerts from NIS all the time when connected where the intruder is my own PC/IP address trying to send info to UDP port 0 which NIS says is invalid. Do I have to create an own rule or can I configure some of the default rules?Also have trouble changing voice channels automatically with the ServInfo gauge, maybe NIS is the problem there as well...?Thanks in advance for any help,

Hey all,I'm having some trouble when trying to register at VATSIM. I go through all the steps and enter the details but am told that I already have an account. The account shown is for another member who's only similarity with me is that we have the same surname, e-mail address's are totally different etc.I've already mailed the Vatsim membership address (membership[AT]vatsim.net) and got a reply. Unfortunatly the steps put forward for me to follow didn't work. Just after installing FS Sky World, I loaded FS2002 and attempted to log on to Squawkbox. Mid way through the process while "clicking through" the various dialog boxes I get:"Squawkbox caused an invalid pages in module MFC42.DLL at 0167:5f410c6d.....blah, blah....."I deleted the old exe and whole folder for that matter and re-loaded the software, and still get it the same error message???Hope to find help.Thanks

Can anyone help? I cant't access my statistics from vatsim. Does anyone know if it is even possible to access. I am useing AOL as browser and have done everything mentioned. ie. turn on cookies/firewall settings/etc. I even went to aol help and tried everything they suggested. Problem: After I sign in it askes me to type the numbers that apear in the box and hit send. I keep getting a authentication error.Thank you for any help.

The only installs of Squawk Box that i have seen linked are for 2000 and 2002. It asks for a 2002 install folder, i change that to my FS9 folder.thinking ive bypassed the system, it then asks what version i have to choose between 2000 and 2002.is there another link that hasnt been made apparant to me? if so, can u please post here?

Hi fellow simmers!Please give me a helping hand with this one which starting to make me go nuts!My problem is with the ServInfo gauge and changing voice channels in AVC using ServInfo's 'Tune' button. For some reason whenever I press the 'Tune' button and have it set to also change voice channels I get an error dialog box in Windows saying the file cannot be found. The error dialog box doesn't say which program is giving the error message nor does it say WHAT file it cannot find. Changing ATC and voice channels using the standard hostSB.dll interface works just fine.I posted this once before but didn't receive much response which made me belive I was the only one with thi…

Hi,Does someone know anything about the speech features that will be included in Squawkbox 3? The reason I'm asking is that I use a speech recognition program called Shoot which I think is great, but unfortunately it doesn't work together with AVC - seems to be some kind of conflict between them when running at the same time. Really miss the ability to use Shoot when I'm flying online.TIA,

I have been searching for a post about this topic but found none so now I try this.I fly FS9 and have installed the latest version of Squawkbox and the CSL-AC. And everything works perfect flying online... except that everbody else seem to fly in the same AC as I have choosen to fly in???I know thats not right and that my computer should be showing the CSL-AC - why does it not do so?I have - ofcause - installed the CSL-Folder in the FS9/Aircrafts-folder. For the past few days, several times I have not been able to make connection to various ATC Controllers. I know I am not the only one now, as I just saw a considerable bit of text on Unicom between other parties having this problem. (Yea, I know they were not supposed to be doing that unless by private ".MSG". I was glad to find out that I wasn't the only person seeing this though.The other day, after a pause for a few moments I got an audio beep along with an error message that honestly I don't remember exactly what it said. 1. When I click on flights>multiplayers>connect in FS9, I sometimes do not get "SBRelay-FS2004 (2ms)". This is no big thing, and I can close the window and try again. After two or three tries, the text appears and everything is ok. Is this normal, or is something not correct?2. After a flight, when I exit Squawkbox, I get the old Microsoft error window telling me that something is wrong with Squawkbox and MS must shut it down asking me if I want to send a report to MS. (What is wrong is I am assuming to be that I just exited Squawkbox). Surely someone much smarter than I has already considered this and found it to be prohibitive for some reason, but I thought I would ask anyway.The two most frustrating things that happen in VatSim to me are first, to originate a flight plan and by the time I can connect, all departure airport ATC is gone. Even more frustrating is to fly for some time and just about the time I am entering the control space of my destination, all ATC there disconnects. Hello, I am having some trouble with FS2002. Whenever I try to host a session, I get as far as the Host Option Screen, and when I click ok to host, it freezes and does not load and I have to force shut it down. I tried FS2004, and SBRelay does the same thing, when I run it, it loads for a few seconds and then freezes. I have left both screens alone for about a 5 minutes and no activity. I have also tried using FSHost, but it does the same thing. Help????!!??!?
