	Hello everyone,
</h2>

<p>
	I’m currently developing <strong>AWOS Display</strong> — an independent aviation weather dashboard designed primarily for virtual controllers.
</p>

<p>
	The goal is simple: <strong>as real as it gets.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	AWOS Display provides clear and structured visualization of:
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		<p>
			METAR data;
		</p>
	</li>
	<li>
		<p>
			runway information;
		</p>
	</li>
	<li>
		<p>
			wind alignment.
		</p>
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	The project is still in beta and under active development.<br />
	I’d really appreciate feedback from controllers and experienced sim pilots.
</p>

<p>
	If you’re interested in testing or sharing suggestions, feel free to reply or send a message.
</p>

	Check out the link via vatsim-radar.com or over here to participate and give feedback for the development of this already great tool: <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScdVUZZ9YNb61KSVivruv6nZWjFALN1D0qVySdED3SokuG-5A/viewform" rel="external nofollow">https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScdVUZZ9YNb61KSVivruv6nZWjFALN1D0qVySdED3SokuG-5A/viewform</a><br />
	I've suggested the following features to Daniluk:
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		Push notification when ATC comes online at an airport of a defined set of airports. Like, I've got 50 payware airports and I'd love to get a notification in Firefox whenever an ATC responsible for one of those airports comes online. Like for LOWW: whenever LOWW_APP, LOVV_CTR, LOVV_N_CTR comes online but not LOVV_B_CTR as it's not covering LOWW. Simpler version: to user define every ATC station individually, like when I have to type in all the individual stations I want to get a notification of.<br />

	</li>
	<li>
		I'd consider trying to gather all VATSIM booking platforms at the same place. The current vatsim-radar booking only shows the ones that are on statsim too. Would be a huge benefit to not have to look like at cts.vatsim.uk/bookings/calendar.php, statsim, and some individual FIRs or ARTCCs separately. A centralised ATC booking platform is what VATSIM is missing and VATSIM radar could help in that regard I think.
	</li>
</ul>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I really love this guy's work.<br />
	A proper map was the only thing VATSIM was behind IVAO for years but vatsim radar is such a great tool I couldn't live without anymore.
</p>

	Hello,

<p>
	just about 10min ago, suddenly, Windows Defender decided it doesn't like vPilot any more. It deleted and is forcing it into quarantine and blocking threat. This is very weird behaviour.
</p>

<p>
	Anything known maybe?

	The headset I'm using is slowly dying, so I'm curious what people are using for VATSIM? Something economical. Seems like when I search for "gaming headsets" I either get $300 ones, or $20 ones. Surely there's something in between that's worthwhile?

	Looking to start flying on VATSIM. Held off for awhile because I didn't want to wake others with IFR clearances and readbacks when I'm flying late in the evening, but I just discovered there is an option to answer the controller via text. Any etiquette around this option? Is it something that's commonly used by pilots or is it something more discouraged?

<p>
	Okay. So, I missed the Oshkosh Vatventure event and my schedule might not allow me time this weekend to fly Oshkosh in Pilotedge event either. But, I have the Airventure scenery from pilotedge.
</p>

<p>
	If I chose to fly to Oshkosh when the real event is happening is there a chance that a lot of other Vatsimmers might be doing it also? Would Center clear me for the Fisk or Warbird Transition? Which ARTCC covers Wittman? Minneapolis isn't it?
</p>

<p>
	Thanks

<p>
	I've noticed using LNM(LittleNavmap)  together with VATSIM , I can see varius flight tags from others  : for instance a/c  displays only " RegistrationID" ie KLM221 ,  some aircraft displays "registrationID +aircraft type : example:  VOE221" /737 + text "Volotea"  on ground, when airborne alt +speed.
</p>

<p>
	It appears I'm not able to generate "RegistrationID &amp; a/c type + "airline" tag on my own aircraft !  (using MS2020,vpilot,and generate flightplans via Simbrief,)
</p>

<p>
	When I file flightplan, my Vatsim tag on LNM  only displays <span>: </span>RegistrationID + TO-FROM location (when on ground)
</p>

<p>
	Who do  I change/control my VATSIM output tag layout to LNM ?
</p>

<p>
	Cheers

		Hi,
	</p>

	<p>
		I fly the FBW A320 and am curious if I can set up the RMP's and ACP's in the aircraft so I can TX/RX on my headset to VHF 1 and listen to ATIS on VHF2 on the loudspeaker?
	</p>

	<p>
		I have the following setup:
	</p>

	<p>
		MSFS2020; VPilot running over network; headset connected to the remote machine; PTT switch on the TCA Airbus sidestick; speakers connected to the simulator machine;
	</p>

	<p>
		BTW I can select VHF 1-3 in the ATC menu of MSFS2020, however if I set VHF2 to ATIS and select it, I will hear ATIS in my headset and VHF1 disconnects (not desirable for VATSIM flying)
	</p>

	<p>
		Thanks for help / suggestions

<p>
	So I have been (3-4 years) considering flying on Vatsim network, and got excited with the Cross the Land Westwards event coming up.
</p>

<p>
	Low and behold they had OJAI to LOWW, and I figured I would do an RJA 147 flight online as I do at least two weekly flights on the route offline.
</p>

<p>
	Sadly, no RJA (Royal Jordanian Airlines) exists in the Airlines Listings, but it seems there are a few flights with the RJA code.
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://ctl.vatsim.me/ctl227-cross-the-land-westbound-2022/bookings" rel="external nofollow">https://ctl.vatsim.me/ctl227-cross-the-land-westbound-2022/bookings</a>
</p>

<p>
	I am confused because of the fact that this is the case. Am I able to do a flight in an event or online without belonging to an VA?
</p>

<p>
	All flights I am interested in are booked so no worries for this event, but I am asking for future reference as I do indeed need to find a VA to settle into.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thanks in advance for any feedback.

<p>
	Vatstats.net is reachable but give no output, same as vataware. Do you know what happend to it? Have they ceased this project like vataware? That would be really a shame and it's sad that we don't have a reliable service that records especially puts our flights in nice statistics and lists.
</p>

<p>
	I now vataware has been not "down" or not supportive for a while now, but couldn't we get such a service that recognizes all the flights from the beginning of vatsim registration? I have been flying on VATSIM for 14 years or something, I would really love to see all the old flight in these statistics too.

					Hi,
				</p>

				<p>
					Ok, searched far and wide and cannot find an answer to this ....
				</p>

				<p>
					After Update 5 in MSFS2020, now Vpilot fails to show the visual messages typed by pilots or ATC on screen!   I have checked the Vpilot Settings and ALL of the buttons under NOTIFICATIONS are checked.  I have changed nothing in vpilot at all.
				</p>

				<p>
					I'm running version 2.1.8.0 which is, I belive, the latest version (no updates yet).
				</p>

				<p>
					And I'm pretty sure that everything is ON that needs to be on in MSFS2020 General settings.
				</p>

				<p>
					Any ideas would be welcome.
				</p>

				<p>
					cheers,

<p>
	So I love to do flights sometimes with F/A-18. I mainly like to takeoff from Edwards AFB and just cruise around at high altitudes in the Mojave Desert staying within the R-2508 Airspace. I know there are rules to doing military flights on VATSIM, and I was wondering if I can do this type of flight without any issues on there. I know there are Virtual military groups which I think get priority to use the airspace but not sure what else there is to consider. Of course if there were any controllers online I would notify them of my intentions and can even fly a specific pattern if it helps them out.
</p>

<p>
	So would most controllers mind if I did this type of flight or not since I would most likely be out of others people way?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thanks

	After "mourning" the loss of my flight sim computer about 3ish years ago, I'm finally back and would like to fly on VATSIM once more... that's the plan.
</p>

<p>
	I went to the VATSIM website and for the life of me I can't remember my VATSIM ID or password - does anybody know who/how I contact them to reactivate my account?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thanks in advance!

	If I want to file a flightplan using my A2A Bonanza V35 what would the correct code be? I searched and found several for the 36 but nothing covering the A2A V-tail. Or isn't it critical to file a plan in Vatsim?

	Thanks

	Hi there, I have a serious vPilot issue going on. I am using P3Dv4.1 and vPilot to connect to Vatsim and while it was very stable for long time, now I am getting this error
</p>

<p>
	Network error: EndReceive failed ( 10054) an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
</p>

<p>
	Please, someone help me to sort this out! I cant fly on Vatsim anymore!
