I have been trying for about 10 minutes now and can't seem to get the PRC password...I asked vatsim to send me my password which they sent me my VATSIM ID and password...but other than that I personally NEVER recieved a PRC??? password...is there soemthing I'm missing and when I click to sign up it gives me a page asking again for my PRC password....any help?....I do have a NORTON firewall..ThanksChad Moore

Hi. I am a new user of VATSIM.After starting a multiplayer session and SquawkBox i selects plane and all that. But just when my FS 2002 has loaded, the plane crashes when it still stands on the ground.Hope, that you can help...PS: My english is not so good. (from denmark)

HiI'm toying with the idea of some on-line flying via VATSIM and was wondering what would happen to all of the thousands and thousands of AI flights plans and hence, the AI planes themselves that currently fly around my virtual world ???I noticed on the VATSIM web-site a utility to allow Project AI models to be seen as CSL models (i think that what they were called)If so, does that also include other AI model producers such AAI, CDAI etc ?Can anyone shine any light on the subject ?RegardsGary

I have followed the install directions for FS 2004. I have used Vatsim for awhile and had to take some time off this last year due to the birth of my son. Now he is older and I have more time to get back into my favorite hobby.Here's the problem. I start everything up and it all seems to be working except that I can not see my position on the ATC Display Applet website. Another thing I had noticed is on the SB FMS screen, my position does not register either. My Lon and Lat is 0000..Also, in the previous verson of SB I used to use, when I connected SB, my Roger Wilco would launch at the same time. I do have the option checked to use RW, but nothing happens.Running W…

Im trying to surf the fsinn homepages www.mcdu.com .But its down. Been like this since last night.The FSFDT test server is down as well.Anyone know whats going on? Is it the release who is being prepared or is it just a server crash?Andy.

Hi Guys, As the subject says,just 2 silly questions I was wondering about.1. When I signed up for VATSIM about 2 weeks ago,I signed up to the Europe/UK region. Hi Guys,Check out this event in Australia, programmed for the end of November ...http://www.vatpac.org/forums/calendar.php?...nfo&eventid=397This is the 3rd one this year & each of the past ones have had enormous participation as World Firsts ... being a most unusual concept for an event.Every pilot who has flown in these have made comments along the lines of them being one of the best events they've ever flown in anywhere! Hello Ive been getting this error but it usally happens when I am departing. It really sucks cause sometimes I have no freken clue where the aircraft is, cause it removes them from my session. But towards the end of a flight they may reappear. Im just scared im going to nail someone lol. Take a look at the pic below please

Thanks in advance!First - Why do ALL other aircraft look just like mine? No matter what airline or aircraft type, all other aircraft look just like me.Second - Why does weather seem to be so far off. If FS downloads heavy clouds, when I connect from SB, it's usually not.Third - I can only visually see other aircraft within 10nm of me. Even though I have 40nm checked from within SB.Fourth - I have to turn my FS sound off in order to hear or transmit to ATC. Otherwise both ways are real garbled.

Hello, I am just registuring with VATSIM so some of these question may be weird or just stupid but how does the ATC comunications with VATSIM work?....Also what does squakbox do, is it the box that you can communicate with other pilots while in flight?Chad Moore

I am now up and running using SBHost.exe. But I have couple or 3 questions. When I get an audio sound for an incomming message I have to click on the FS screen to see it. Also after I send a text message I have to click on the FS screen - WHY?Is there any point in flying online if there are no controllers active in your area and just use Unicom?Sorry if these Q? are basic but I am trying to learn.
