I have a guide which i'm following and do everything it says up until the where you click on search for games and then it just stays searching where my guide says SBRelay - Squakbox2 (1/814) Should come up???? I am using FS2004 with SBRelay. Any ideas as i've spent hours trying to get this to work.Thanks Lee.

Hello,I am having trouble getting Squawkbox to work. I have installed according to the instructions. When I get to the "Join" button, the program crashes and I go into the report error dialog box.I am running Windows XP. I have DirectX 9c, I have disabled all firewalls. What should I look at next? I have made search how to create routes.I still don't know how to solve all situations.I actually once used MSFS auto-router, butATC say it's complete wrong route.I have try FSBuild and FSNav very briefly, FSNav looks nice. But I can't get any of them to do the real job for me. If FSNav can't createshort-form route for ATC! And FSBuild, honestly I don't get the ide at all. I've finished installing all the software to get this system working in FS2004. I got to the step to launch Squawkbox, I click "Start Search", I leave the IP address blank, I get the SBRelay entry in the list, then I click Join and Squawkbox crashes. I had downloaded the full Pilot Software set from the download page and followed the installation instructions for FS2004 from Pilot Resources.Any ideas on what could be wrong? Hi,The code for the Swedish airport Karlstad is ESOK but on VATSIM if i am there and i request a weather update it updates ESSQ instead.ESSQ is the old code for that airport. I like to fly in & out of that airport and i love #### weather but every time i fly there i have clear skies because ESSQ weather is loaded on Vatsim and because ESSQ is not listed as being weatrher reporting i get clear skies every time.Can this be fixed?Best Regards / Jan

when SB3 is released, what will you have for a CSL? Also will it be possible to edit it and add aircraft to as add-ons?

Hi, all.First, allow me to say that I am not new to squawkbox. I was on-line with this in 2000. However, I've been away for several years, my equipment and software is relatively current, and I'm in the process of moving to high speed internet via D-Link cable modem and a D-Link router with a direct attach to my primary pc on a lan. My initial attachment was via a D-Link wireless adapter, but I could never get good, quality reception for connection to the internet.I can't figure where or what is causing my problem. I have fs2000 and windows 2000. I have the latest fsuipc.dll and it is registered. I have the csl files, but i cannot see other online aircrafts on my computer screen. I can see them the a/c in Sbox TCAS but fail to see callsigns of online aircrafts in the vicinity. What am i missing out!!! I have been trying to figure this out for a few days now!!! Plese help!!1. Any help getting me connected would be greatly appreciated!I've installed all software and everything works exactly like it should until I try to connect, wherein it gives me an 'Invalid Callsign or Password' error. The thing is, I give it the same login info that I use to access the 'Pilot Resources' section of VATSIM (not the one for forums or avsim.net software access). I'm trying to use VATSIM and i'm totally lost. I have SB installed and it runs, but I have no idea what i'm supposed to do with it. What I would really like is a walkthrough on how to do this. I've found plenty of tutorials on how to start SB, but I can't figure out how to connect to the network. I'm running on FS2k2 and would appreciate some help.

Just installed this program, is it supposed to make it so you can use the regular Flight Sim radio stack to tune you ATC frequencies INSTEAD of doing it through the SquawkBox ATC Directory window?how does it work... good.. bad?Thanks

This is one thing that always confused me with VATSIM, FS2004 allows you to set whatever weather you want and whatever time of day you want. But VATSIM is supposed to be simulating the real world environment. Now how does this work if you have say 2 different players, one player is flying set at 9:30pm and his weather is snowing, but then the other player is set at flying at 1:00pm and he has his weather set to a hot summer day. How does this work together?Does the weather and time of day have to be the same for the VATSIM network to work and for controllers to appropriatly control all aircraft?

I had to install this program but I am really not sure why I needed it? What does FSUIPC exactly do I really don't get it?I thought that FSUIPC was a payware program but yet it didn't ask me to pay anywhere, so what is this all about?Thanks

Hi all..I was a little disappointed today with my Vatsim experience. I had a few hours off and decided to do an online flight from EGFF to EDDM. I have fsnav and used it to provide my flightplan.Those that use it know that it is an excellent programme but it does not do the "short form" flight plan as far as i know. I then exported it to fs2004, PMDG fms and squawk box. I spend about half an hour getting everything ready.(I chose EGFF as i could see a controller was there)The controller asked to me re file my flight plan with what looked to me like the "short form" flight plan and was rather different to the one provided by fsnav. ok here it is, fs9, win xp sp2, ms new update. clean install of all software. I can connect i see others, controllers see me, but i can not select what plane i am flying when you file your flight plan at the top the list is blank. I get 2 errors icao.dat-could not open file and error you are missing the file csl_icao.csvwell both of those are located inside the squawkbox folder and i do have a csl folder in my fs9 aircraft folder. I have the latest fsupic and sbhost and sbrelay, just can't select what plane i am flying. Please help this is day 3 now and i have tried everything
