Any way to keep FSX from turing of Aero in Win 7?

Hi, has anyone running a nvidia surround 3 monitors managed to get a good balance of the vasi lights, and AI Lights. I have managed to get mine ok when near to them but at distance still seem a bit large and blurry. Trying various settings either get the runway lights right , the AI right or the vasi, but never all 3. Tried various halo's and settings in cfg RUNWAY_LIGHTS_SURFACE_SCALAR=0.50 RUNWAY_LIGHTS_VASI_SCALAR=0.5 RUNWAY_LIGHTS_APPROACH_SCALAR=0.7 RUNWAY_LIGHTS_STROBE_SCALAR=0.6 Screen resolution 6054 x 1080 Any perfect settings appreicated! Hi I have been flying microsoft simulator programs for a number of years. I have purchased a new computer and am now flying FSX. I am having a problem with setting elevator trim. I have the left hand button on my Saitek yoke assigned for up and down. I have tried in FSX settings controls to adjust the slider in all three positions but it seems to adjust irratically. If I watch the trim wheel during adjustment, the wheel turns slowly and then begins turning quickly. Can anyone give me some info on what to do here? I have a problem that I have never had before. I last night purchased and installed the Wilco ERJ (135-145). This morning when I went to fire up my flight sim, I am having a plethroa of errors with other aircraft. My PMDG 747x, PMDG MD11, Level D 767 and QWSIM 757 will not load. I have attempted to re-install all products, and with the 747, it says it cant find several .dll's, the 767 gives me a panel initialization error, then 6 unreadable ones, then crashes, the MD11, causes a fatal error and the QWSIM just causes an immediate CTD. The Captain SIM products have also developed a texture loading problem. Any ideas on what could be causing this issue all of the sudden?…

I just tried the Opus Demo. I found that ALL my aircraft are stuck to the ground! Nothing moves even at full throttle. Not a way of tempting people to purchase, I fear.

Hey guys, dont know if I'm doing this right or even posting in the right place, but I need help!!! The digital number display for the cabin pressurization panel on the lower right overhead of the PMDG 737 NGX, as well as the digits in all NAV, COMM, Xponder, ect all appear as a bright, obnoxious orange. In my last copy of the PMDG, these numbers were a blue shade, just like the numbers in the MCP window. Does anyone know how to change the bright orange of these numbers back to the calm blue it used to be??

Recently moved from rc4 to PFE, and for the most part, wow what an improvement. But compared to rc4 pfe with all the extra ambiance and superb taxi guidance it brings, is much more complex of a hassle in certain cases. My issue is fact that the ATC is fast (some report issues of PFE atc being 2* speed in certain cases) So looks like its either a bug that comes and goes or the normal speed too fast for me. In RC4 this was no issue, you can control atc voice speed, and even then the pop window also retains usefull info, in PFE you dont have this, sometimes the PFE pop up closes before you even had time to read the full instructions, So you end up pressing repe…

Hey All! I've got a full payware version of FSX and Acceleration installed. I have Maldives X, Santorini X, Gibraltar X all installed, fully payware and all working fine. To the same system (Win7), I have bought and installed Corfu X. Now I have problems with this. It seems that the runway of Corfu X and the default FSX stock runway has size differences... I don't know which is which, but on both sides I have 2 different set of lights going all the way. Also, RWY 35 is pavement texture is "broken" just about where the APRON begins. I'm ready to buy some new scenery for the London area, including the city itself as well as the major regional airports. Which scenery add-ons, as single products or in combination, would you recommend for best visual detail? Between performance and visuals, I would rather sacrifice performance for better views. I get a "Fatal Video Card Error" and the BSOD when loading a flight in FSX - happens while loading the terrain, textures, etc. Have only tried the PMDG 737 NGX. Everything worked great until I purchased and installed Opus last night. It is configured to the letter per the Opus guide, and setup through the .xml to load automatically in the <load addon> portion of the script. I am new to the PMDG 737 and part of the info required in order to set up the HUG for the arrival airport is the runway length and the runway elevation. Can someone tell me where I find this information from for various world airports. Many thanks in anticipation.

Having just bought both Vienna and Dubai. I am shocked to discover that te jetways at these airports do not coincide with GSX. For me it drops the credibility of these airports and means I have to park on remote stands if I want to have GSX. Does anyone else find this odd?!

After reading the encouraging posts on the main Extended X thread I decided to purchase and test it out for myself. Hi I've recently returned to FSX after a short break and installed it on a computer that provides ample frame rate. I think the sim is great with one exception. It seems the pitch in many A/C is too unstable. Very small movements of the elevator with the yoke seems to make the nose bob up and down. I have real world flying experience, mostly in gliders but also a little in the C172 so have a reasonable idea of what to expect. I've never flown a real 737 but I bet that a tiny pitch movement on the yoke does not cause this nose bobbing situation in real life.
