As an example, when I throttle up, there should be the effect of being pushed back in my seat. I keep hearing people say that Opus can replace EZdok, but I can't seem to replicate this effect. I can enable to the vibration and shaking effects, but not G reaction effects such as being pushed back in your seat under acceleration or side to side movement with adverse Yaw. Hi I bought this first for the LWE As a Old wideview user i most say the live camera is easy to work with . I run a 3 monitor setup today with fsx and P3d no networked and wideview today. I have a second Pc With a 2700k running Prosim Displays and decided to test Opus client For a outside veiw struggeling a LOT to get it to work have now problem to connect but When starten up the opus client the server went crasy. Warning !!! I have a Old simconnect cfg after deleteing that filé evrything worked perfect. Next test and it worked perfect , P3D on server and Fsx on client. Now its time to tune evrything iam Very impressed Thanks Opus Team

Hello. I was wondering how to properly merge the Captain Sim 757 into the Sky Spirit 767-300WL. I copy/pasted the panel folder of the CS757 into the POSKY76 but when I launch FSX, the panel knobs aren't working. EX: the APU knob will not turn! The switches are clickable but the knobs will not budge! Can someone give me some advise? Other than that, the panel works perfectly. I really don't want to buy Level D 767. Please don't tell me to as well.

There are a couple of nice Learjet 20 series add-ons out there now but unfortunately no great sound package for those old CJ610 Turbojet engines. Who else really wants to have these engines brought to life??

Was just wondering what people's opinions were on which is now the best AI package now the newer titles have been out for a bit, I have had UT2 since it was released. I still find myself wondering whether its a poor package or not. The list of un painted aircraft is huge, I've had to add WOAI aswell just so I can have some cargo aircraft filling the appropriate spots. I'm sure this isn't helping my FSX performance. Is it time for a change?

I just purchased FSX Gold Edition and have been flying for about a week. I have found many great terrain downloads for USA and Canada down to 10m, both freeware and payware. Before I downloaded any, I discovered that the FSX Scenery configuration window can be adjusted for terrain mesh down to 10m and textures down to 1m resolution! This being the case, what is the need for the downloaded mesh and textures? Are they more accurate than the FSX defaults at maximum resolution? I can certainly see that downloaded scenery, which improves the accuracy of specific structures and runways, is a much-needed improvement, but can anyone comment on the relative accuracy of the defaul…

Hey all, know this has been discussed before, but I can't seem to find an answer that solves my problems. I do have McAfee Security, and hear that McAfee is a barrier sometimes in getting the addon menu. I've tried the CTRL+SHFT+F12 fix, didn't work. I hear changing items in [Trusted] in the CFG can make it work, but mine are 1's and I think only 0's disable the add-on menu on the menu bar. I need to access this #1 for the PMDG Setup tools, and also for FS Cabin Crew. Let me know if there is anything I can get that menu up with, such as disabling McAfee for FSX etc. I'm posting my dll.xml file below so anybody can look and see if there is an issue with ge…

whenever I try to use the pop up view window that I'm shoe to view external views from the virtual cockpit And vice versa, The one activated by the Default Key ( [ & ] ) my fsx freezes and then says fatal error has occurred? Has This happened anything else, and is there way to stop it?

Hi all In the past month or so, this visual annoyance started appearing in FSX. It appears in both the tower and VC views - for the life of me I can't work out why it has suddenly started appearing. I am running an Nvidia 660Ti video card and only yesterday updated my video driver, which I thought might make a difference, but sadly not. Has anyone else experienced this? I have Flight1 Ultimate airliners Super 80 pro and noticed the DC-9 classic was just released. What do others think of this bird? Since I have the MD80 is it realistic to buy the DC-9?

Hi Stephen, I am just cruising from Bali (WADD) to Amsterdam inbound. During my outbound flight EHAM-WADD I faced a lot of tail winds. Now it was the same: Tail winds over India, Afghanistan etc. However, when I checked the OPUS window Upper Atomosphere Weather Report, I saw FL380: Temp -66, Wind 288/62, which is for my current heading head wind as expected from my outbound flight. Only after forcing in the pull down menu OpusFS1 Live Weather/ Load Dynamic Weather, the forecast weather was injected properly into FSX. I have set in Weather Download Options: Live Weather Update Every 17 Minutes or 80km. 1. Does this refer 'only' to the current…

Hi; got a question needing some doctoring; In FSX, from a saved flight starting on a ramp ATC starting point I have AI aircraft moving about with me as I'm taxiing out to the runway working ground control on 121.7. What's happening is that ATC has an aircraft some distance behind me on a long taxiway. I'm getting an ATC sound loop as ATC deal with that airplane. He is told to watch out for me on the taxiway, then to hold, then to watch out, then hold, etc...........on and on in an endless loop of instructions. Am confused. I have installed the latest beta version of OpusFSX today. There is some mention of "turbulence bump" being modelled? I've been flying circuits in very gusty winds at East Midlands Airport but all I appear to get from OpusFSX is some cockpit shaking effects. There doesn't appear to be any turbulence effect on the actual airframe - which is what I want. Does OpusFSX model turbulence yet in FSX (airframe turbulence not cockpit shaking fx). If so how can I get it to generate the correct gusts/shear on the airframe? I loaded up FsWxLite to check that there actually WAS some turbulence present and it modelled it correctly on the airframe as I flew …

Hello and Happy Holidays to all! I seem to be having a conflict of some sort with regards to the latest Opus update and Track IR5. The issue is an erratic/flashing screen in the VC which virtually makes it impossible to fly. I thought initially it was a Track IR5 issue but I have never had any issues with Track IR5. I have recently updated Opus to version 2.71.0 and I believe that is when my screen problems have commenced. When FSX is loaded and the Opus FSI server is running the erratic/flashing screen is present in the VC only (both payware and default A/C). The external views do not seem to be effected.
