Hi, I've been playing XP11 for few weeks already. I really enjoy it but there is one aspect which makes me consider purchasing FSX SE. That is ATC/flight planning feature. In XP11 I use addon for that purpose called 124th ATC. It performs its jobs well. However its dosent show taxi path (like arrows in FSX) during take off and landing. I don't plan to use IVAO so I need ATC/flight planning feature to be really good. I wouldn't mind also to plan my flights straight from build in system, without using Simbrief. I've enjoyed FSX for many years using modest equipment and Windows 7, and I've made major investments in aircraft and scenery. I recently acquired a new high-end computer to better enjoy FSX capabilities. So now my frustration begins.......like many of you before me. Windows 10 will not install my FSX Gold software. Im a pilot, not a software engineer, and after reading a lot of the discussion concerning Windows 10, I'm concerned that I may not have sufficient life in front of me to experience a successful resolution. Having announced earlier this year that they were no longer supporting FSX or indeed anything less than PsDv4, Milviz today confirmed that they are bringing their newly released PC-6 Porter over to FSX. This decision was the result of "community feedback" and they are apparently currently working on what systems they can port over from the 64-bit version to make it compatible with a 32-bit environment, with further updates to follow. Clearly therefore, they must still see a significant market for a 32-bit versions of the aircraft which is good news for us dinosaurs! Hi guys I have a small question. I ve seen that atm there are tons of good airport sceneries coming out like Latinosim Miami or flytampa las Vegas. The problem is I've fsx and I'm very happy with it. Yeah I know P3d is way better but i don't wanna buy all my pmdg stuff again as it's not possible to transfer it. Now my question is it possible to buy P3d airport addons and use them for fsx.??? I know it works the other way around, so many fsx sceneries are compatible with P3d but here I don't find anything on the internet. So thx for your help and happy landings.

Hi, I guess this problem was already mentioned in previous topics, but I want to start a new one since I was searching through the web without finding any solution. I recently bought some Logitech/Saitek equipment but unfortunately neither my instrument panel, my multi panel nor my switch panel worked with my FSX. I also tried to solve these problems by installing several drivers from Saitek, Logitech or SPAD but none of them worked. So I decided to reinstall my FSX. After the game was successfully installed I was asked to activate it. Entering the product key from the inside of the box was not successful, because it's not longer supported by Microsoft. I had Just down loaded a program and using it in FSX, finished and closed down the computer. Started 5 hours later and my J drive is now empty 1.34 TB Free of 1.34 TB. I tried to do a back to another time but error 0x80070005 keeps coming up I will appreciate any help.

Hi all, I've read a couple of threads on this subject but I can't find a resolution to the following problem... I have a model, with landing lights that shine brightly on the aircraft but don't actually illuminate the ground. I've checked that the relavant bitmaps are in place and that they work on some models (Bell 206 for example) but not on others. I understand that they are part of the .mdl file built by the modeler and one of the models I have a problem with is a Nemeth payware aircraft and another is freeware. I recently rediscovered the Classics Hangar Messerschmidt bf108 which I purchased when it was in a sale about 5 years ago! I think I had a brief fling with it at the time, without reading the manual, before consigning it to my hangar with the intention of returning to it when I had time to read the manual. Hello everyone. I need help. I am training for my PPL and all the three aircraft I have used so far (two Cessna 172s and a Cessna 152) have carb heat. In my FSX collection, both my 152s have carb heat. However none of my 172s has it. I have the default 172 and the A2A 172, but neither has carb heat. I have a 172RG Cutlass by Alabeo and it does have carb heat, but I want a 172 without retractable gears and without propeller controls (since none of the three planes have them). OK, this is a weird question. I managed to get my disk version of FSX and Acceleration fully installed on my new Windows 10 Pro system after a few curses, DVD drive read issues and one validation error. Then I installed REX Sky Force 3D since I'd just bought it on sale. Imagine my surprise when I launched FSX, because it now proudly proclaims in the banner on the Home menu it's the Steam Edition of FSX. WHAT! I installed no such thing! Is this going to be a problem because I have a whole library of purchased add-ons just for this version or is it something common? I own FSDG's Seychelles scenery, but, for some reason, can't get it to work properly: 1. If I load a default aircraft, for example the Cessna 152, the plane is submerged into the ground. Elevations are all off, the buildings look like they're buried up to the second floor in scenery. 2. Ditto if I load the Qualitywings 787. 3. Strangely enough, if I load up the Aerosoft Airbus, everything is fine and normal. The only other scenery I have installed in this area is Flight1's Ground Environment. What might be going on, and is there a fix for this? I'm talking about the main airport here FSIA Thanks Ricardo

Hi all, Here's the thing; I have a helicopter model with a problem concerning the constant and rythmic 'touchdown' sound effect running with engines off and the model sitting solidly on the ground. Something is triggering the sound and I've tinkered with the [contact points] thinking that was behind it but I can't rid myself of it. I could flag it to 'off' but then I guess I won't have it when I land. Does anyone have any ideas what might be triggering this? Thanks in advance, D

Hi all, Another sound.cfg related question. During an engine start up, does the start up sound drive the timing of the engine start up or is the engine start up driving the sound? The reason I ask is that I want to slow the engine wind up down a little in one of my models rather than having it all just burst into life. If it is the engine that drives the sound, is there a way of affecting the timing? Thanks in advance, D

I have installed Southwest Airlines 737-700 aircraft to UT Live when I go to the texture assignment drop down menu the 737-700 aircraft is missing I tried to uninstall the application and reinstall it but no luck so far. I don't know what could be causing this issue? Thanks, Steamgamer189

Hello, now this might be a kinda stupid question, but does anyone know how to open doors on the TDS max merged with PMDG 737NGX? It doesn´t work via the FMC, I can only open the front left door using shift+e, however using word not allowed+e2/3/4 etc. nothing happens. I can´t unload or load the aircraft via GSX, and I have to reset position if Í want to pushback. Thanks, Timotej Krajcovic

So I compiled several airline flight plans such as American, Southwest, and Westjet. I know I compiled multiple flightplans into FSX, made sure all models were installed, and checked the directory and sure enough it was correct with FSX. I start up FSX and go to Miami and its packed with AA aircraft. Then I go to Dallas Love Field with no Southwest airlines aircraft even though everything is installed and the traffic slider is at 100% I noticed American Airlines aircraft at DFW. Not sure if its a problem with AIFP ,bgl file, or the flightplans (Alpha India Group). The aircraft may be invisible but I researched this topic and I turned off aircraft shadows and disabled Dire…

Anyway, after so many years of this being out there I just out of the blue decided to try it since within the past year i had to get a new graphics card and upgraded to the EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB SSC Gaming ACX3.0. Strange thing happened to me a couple weeks ago in FSX. All of my Skyspirit/Opensky Boeing 777's began to sink when I selected them from my menu whether the starting point was on the active runway, tarmac, or at the gate. They literally sank about half way into the engine diameter, of course, prompting sparks, smoke and damage (the "scrape points", i presume) They are not flyable at all. I have ORBX Global installed, and have not made any global changes in my scenery, other than adding a few airports. Dear All, I'm a recent user of QualityWings B787. I find everything fine as it should be with this aircraft. However, I'm facing an issue of moving control surfaces like Aileron and Elevator. I use NUM8 and NUM2 for Elevator (in FSX) and NUM4 and NUM6 for ailerons. But whenever I'm pressing these it seems jammed. Also a test of Control surfaces does not move elevator up and down. I recently purchased the Flight 1 GTN 750 add on for FSXSE. I have been having problems with ATC giving me random vectors while under flight guidance via the GTN 750. Also I am very disappointed that you can’t update the maps on the GTN 750 at a reasonable cost. You can purchase a one time update from Garmin for $129. And I am not sure it would update the Flight 1 Version? Should Flight 1 still be selling this product? Any other owners of the GTN 750 care to chime in? How are you currently using this add on? When I load up the sim I get 'Aircraft initialisation failure. Air Creation582sl red. When I go onto free flight, I can see absolutely no aircraft. Kinda worried about this one Alex
