Hello Guys, I am very new to FSX-SE and bought EMB505-300 with navigraph expansion as well. Installed both and running but as soon as i want to start adding departure,nav and arrival points no data shows up. I bought a subscription for navigraph which is valid for one year, installed file but no joy. Also aircraft loads in but database does not build, is stuck at 0% for navigraph Please can someone direct me on how to correct this. Thanks in advance.

I've read that if one has the PMDG MD-11 then the sounds are realistic and accurate. However, for those of us who don't have the legacy MD-11 then Turbine Sound Studios pilot edition (better representation of sound from within the cockpit so they say) is a great improvement over freeware MD-11s and Sky Sim's MD-11. At least the engines sound a lot better, both internally and externally and there is more cockpit ambience, to my (subjective!) ears anyway. The Justflight Hawk is only showing the cockpit in the external view and nothing else. The outside view shows a floating cockpit with the front part missing the windshield of it and the aircraft’s shadow. Thanks, Bill

I was wondering if anyone has delved into the sound files to lower the volume of the GPU ... well you can only hear it on external view, but still... it is LOUD! If you have then what are the changes please? Thanks.

As the title says. Getting blurry textures. FSX has difficulty loading the textures, some parts are less blurrier than others. My FSX settings are set according to the ORBX Global user manual. I also don't get any 3D Lights at night, even though i have run the Lights configurator, and updated the ORBX libraries. I believe that's probably because FSX is also having a difficult time loading them. I have barely tweaked my FSX cfg, so maybe i am missing something there? I'm really not good with CFG tweaking. Also my PC isn't exactly the fastest. But surely it would still be able to load textures and 3D lights? System specs Intel Core i5-6200U 2.3 GHz running at 2.7 …

JF have recently released the latest photoscenery (first two volumes) which enhances the previous VFR Real scenery with added custom autogen, and is based on 2015 imagery, so relatively up to date in the scheme of things. IMHO this is very good, especially for fans of photoreal (like me). Trees, pylons, buildings are more closely represented to those in real life and their locations, with I believe some added landmarks. The software relocates grossly out of position FSX airfields etc,. It has custom night textures (not done a night flight as yet) and water textures and of course a custom terrain mesh. Hello all, it’s been a long time since I made a post here but I have run into an issue with flashing clouds. I found the fix here regarding the swarmcloud fix and decided to try it. I followed the instructions per the post but after the fix was complete I found completely cloudless skies. I currently run FSX boxed with REX essentials plus od. While I use REX for the textures I actually set the weather inFSX using the user defined option. This problem only exists when setting with user defined and not with the other themes. I did back everything up prior to making the fix and switched it back but the problem still exists. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, E…

I recently purchased the just flight cessna 152 on steam for FSX SE ,i have purchased several other just flight add-on and they all work no problem. However the cessna 152 is installed and shows in the selection area in fsx ,when i start the flight i cannot see the aircraft just the pilot sitting in mid air, i can start the engines ,i can hear them,i can see the lights and the pilot moves with the controller inputs, i can even fly the aircraft...but i cant see it! I have tried a few things to rectify this but to no avail. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I know there are several folks using the VRinsight CDU II with the PMDG 737NGX, 777 and 747 QOS. My question: how did you install the panels using their software when it doesn't include those aircraft models? I know the CDU II will work because I tested it using their basic 747 module and the buttons work. I'm basically stuck without the panel installer finding these aircraft.

I'm looking for a nice airport for LFMN. Both Aerosoft and Justsim have one, but both are listed for being compatible with FSX. Do either (both) work in FSX-Steam as well? If so, which one is preferable? Is there an alternative? Thanks!

Hi there, if someone know what is the reason that I can't capture glideslope on approach to minchen (EDDM) runway 08r? with the QW avro rj 85. the ILS frequency is correct and the FAP is the right altitude to intercept the glideslope/ if someone have met this flight from LSZH to EDDM and have the experience to guid me I will be glade. I've been an FSX'er for many years, but have always been confused about the pros and cons of photoreal scenery, and more broadly, about what the most effective kinds, or brands, of scenery are. I have purchased a handful of add-on sceneries, airports, etc., and have the photoreal scenery for my home state. The photoreal scenery of my state seems so wonderfully realistic from the air, in terms of looking like I know things should look from knowing the place so well. But, of course, the lower to the ground the crappier things get, as its made from real satellite imagery. But I read people crapping on photoreal when I skim forums. Can anyone tell me if FSX with Lvld-d 767 addon will run one Windows 10?

As nice as the backlighting for all the labels on the panels is, not to mention the panel floodlights, they only display when FSX decides that it is dark.. please bear with me.. Until the sim decides it is dark, the cockpit can get pretty dark and controls hard to find. Is it possible to add some kind of dome light which would illuminate the cockpit prior to, and indeed during, darkness? I'm sure there should be a spare key combo to toggle the light.. Would this "just be a case of" editing the aircraft.cfg file to get a light then playing with its coordinates until it shows up in a suitable position?

I have only problem with Airbus a330 and A340. After I installed the aircraft only wings and engines are Ok but Body is black.I dont use direct x.Please help

This may be down to personal preference, but I reckon that the navigation lights could do to be a little bit brighter. If this is possible, how would I go about it? Thanks.

Although, i have placed the GSX_door.xml in SimObjects\Airplanes\Aerosoft Airbus A320_A321 Base\Panel_Fallback\AB_Systems\GSX_Doors.xml. So im suffering major FPS issues on my computer which can easily handle games such as Forza Horizon 4 on Ultra graphics without any lag or FPS issues whatsoever. Quick Specs : 8gb VGA & 12gb RAM Windows 10. When I play FSX I immediately experience FPS averaging 8-15 throughout the game, I used to play FSX on my MacBook Pro thru bootcamp and it only had 1gb video card and I rarely had any issues averaging 30fps. Im not sure if using Windows 10 is the culprit as I've just recently bought this computer as well as using windows 10 for the first time. (my MacBook had windows 7 previously) any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Seems I had this issue before (long time ago)....something to do with the unc naming path, something. I have this network but I am using FSAerodata and scenery cfg which are shared acros the network.
