Just got a new used better computer to run FSX\ACCL. Managed to install it with help,I must admit. The person who helped installed it into Microsoftgames by default and not directly into a folder in the C:\ I have an issue with DirectX Windows10 has DX11,as you all know. I don't have VC's in my addons or outside 3Dviews, tower the planes are invisible 😥 I have been adviced to download and install directX9c Instead, this is proving difficult for me, can anyone here guide me by the numbers ? After installing the Acceleration pack, I get an activation error: 1-80004005. FSX Base installs just fine. What could cause this?

I recently purchased LFPG from Taxi2Gate, and am noticing that any scenery locations that have a bridge or layers of textures for a hill or slope are see through from some angles. So it appears as is there is no bridge, when there is from another angle. I've noticed this when it comes to bridges on airfields with a few other airports, but none are as bad or unberable with Taxi2Gate's LFPG. I'll attach some photos for better understandings. On startup get error msg "Scenery.cfg Invalid Remote Scenery path in Scenery Area.19" Then get Fatal error message and shutdown. Have searched for similar problem. Unable to start FSX. Bummer

I setup a flight plan to fly IFR (VOR-VOR) from KSAV to KCLT using the CaptSim C130 autopilot. I get about 2/3 of the way there and ATC starts giving me instructions that turn me around 180 degrees!! I have tried this several times and got the same results.I have then cancelled IFR and flown VFR with no problems into KCLT, same flight plan. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Maybe it is just me..... Bob

I'm using FSXSE and was using UT2. I read all the hype about UTLive so I bought it. I installed it as the manual says and....and....no AI. A lot of users are complaining. I had more with UT2. I got on the support page and was told don't expect much??? Really?? So I'm looking for a new AI program or go back to UT2. Just wondering what everyone else is using. Hello, Do any of you know whether the 737 PIC by Wilco publishing will work on steam edition on Windows 10 64-bit? Also, I see on their website that they do different products for different operating systems, so which one will work for windows 10? Many Thanks.

I flew in FSX with PMDG 737 NGX from MPBO (Default) to MPTO payware. Near the landing runway in MPTO I saw a terrain elevation, weird. I saved the flight. Shutdown FSX sim and launched again. Loaded the saved flight and it has no elevation, normal. I had in the past elevation issues, saving the flight to recreate the issue allowing me to do changes for corrections. But, with MPTO is the first time I am getting confused. Start flight as normal I see elevation in approach. Loading the same saved flight and is normal, nothing to fix. Is something I can try?

Good evening, So, in the beginning of the year, I had FSX Boxed running very well on my Windows 7-64 bit, I5-3570, Nvidia 750GTX system. Windows 7 and FSX each on a seperate SSD. I then decided to upgrade the I5 to an I7 3770K and the GPU to a Nvidia 1050 ti (4GB). I also installed W10 Pro, from scratch, so no upgrade So after taking a couple of months off, I decided to reinstall everything FSX. The problem I now have, is I have bad stutters. I have tried dozens of tweaks, one at a time, also played around with Nvidia Inspector settings. The thing that`s really strange is that it seems that nothing has even the slightest effect. Does anyone out there run the RealAir Duke Turbine V2 in FSX and if so do the cockpit sounds work for you? I have this aircraft and nothing I have done so far has produced these sounds for me even though the .wav files are there. They just don't play. I also run the RealAir Lancair Legacy and the RealAir Duke B60 V2 and both play all aircraft and cockpit sounds correctly. I have redownloaded, uninstalled and installed, copied the sound.gau file from the panel folder into the FSX Gauges folder and tried various changes to the panel.cfg file all to no avail. Hello all, I have chaseplane and since I got it, whenever my plane moves my camera changes its position. This all started since I got chase plane, before that it was ok but now no. Does anyone know the fix to this? Pilot Kareem

While flying IFR to Nassau tonight, they tell me to "turn left to heading 125". Within 30 seconds I get the word to "turn right to 155". Again within 30 seconds, we go back to 125, and another few seconds we're back to 155. why do they do that?

I purchased the IRIS - Pro Training Series - Pilatus PC-9/A (for FSX) from JustFlight in 28/12/2017. I did not test it under other base platforms like P3D or FSX:SP2 or Acceleration, so might be the aircraft behaves the same way, as I expect the IRIS SIMULATIONS development has been cancelled to provide or support this product from now on. Hi all well spent the whole day on this one, i bought 2 apeman projectors off of the net and 2 100 inch hangable screens ,in order to see if i could attempt to create a curve shape from them . Anyway i put them up and switched on the projectors which were plugged into a 710 x3 output graphics card and activated flight sim ,my aim was to use my normal screen as a display for my mip left side ,and then use the other 2 outputs for the outside visual. anyway cutting a very short story long ,there was no proper way of extending the runway to show between the middle of the screens ,without one side suddenly becoming black as i stretched the image . well…

Hello, Does anyone have the DC-8 Jetliner Series 50 to 70 by Just Flight? If so, have any of you had a problem where you try to start the aircraft from a cold and dark state, but you can't see or use the Ground Power unit, even though the EXT PWR AVAIL light is illuminated. In the manual it says that you move one of the switches to the External Power mode and the GPU will connect, but when I do that nothing happens. With all 4 generators off you should see some of those yellow lights illuminated beneath the generator switches, but all of them were extinguished. It was supposed to have the Generator 2 and 4 bus power fail lights on when you turn on generators 1 and 3 …

As this thread topic is related with A321 I would like to place here a question. I installed in FSX Airbus A320/A321 new version from Aerosoft. After Climbing the Altitude is reached and a few seconds later the nose starts going up and down. I have the version 1.31 installed in FSX SP2 sim. My hardware PC is Alienware Aurora R6 Processor Intel Core i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHZ, 4200 MHZ, 4 Core, 8 Logical Processor, 64G RAM and Graphics NVidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti with 11G memory. What does it making such up/down of the nose?

Hello everyone. I asked in the SweetFX forum, but almost no one goes there, so I'm trying again here. Has anybody been able to run SweetFX or Reshade in Windows 10 (version 1803 or newer)? I've tried doing so, but FSX-SE refuses to start (FS9 does neither). I've also tried installing the June/2010 DirectX End-User Runtimes, but it does still not work. I've run out of ideas. Does anybody have another one? For reference, my specs are at my signature below.

I am having trouble with some addon aircraft. The plane would not move on the ground, when trying to taxi or take off. In fact, I start a flight, the plane loads but when applying throttle to start taxi (or take off), it doesnt move, even at full power. In fact, its like its stuck on the ground, although moving the control surfaces seems to have a very slight effect on the airplane, if throttle is at maximum (something like the plane has some kind of super brake that wont let it go).
