...to P3D, since I cannot deal with the constant OOM's anymore. I just bought quite a few of OrbX products, and they really don't perform very well under FSX-Steam. Add a couple of high-def aiport sceneries, and you're pretty much constantly bumping up against the 4 Gig-limitation.

Fairly new to the FSX Steam add-on arena. I looked and cannot find the answer to this question: When you download the RealityXP GNS530 to your computer, is it available to all the aircraft on your FSX SE or can you only use it on one aircraft? Second question: If you can use it on different aircraft, do you have to delete it from one before adding it to another? Thanks for responding.

Gday Yents, Since a couple off days i have been using Ifly. But how can i refuel my B737? For excample...in the PMDG, you can do that in your fmc, but in Ifly thats not possible. I know in the Ifly configuration you can count your fuelwaight, but i can't find how to put the fuel in my plane. thanks KLM486

So I've found a weird visual glitch with the Sky Simulations MD-11 V2.2: when extending or retracting the landing gear, neither of the main gear doors and the forward left nose wheel door do not open, and the wheels just phase right through them. (pictured below) This happens on all 4 models (both passenger and both freighter models, PW4000 freighter model is pictured). What is weird is that I checked the .mdl files using ModelConverterX and it clearly shows the landing gear doors opening and closing as part of the animation. Even weirder is that I did not have this glitch when using the V2.0 (and its 2.1 service pack). Any idea what could be causing this a…

I'm just new to this extensive forum, whoow, what a lot of sub-directories and "departments" here! I hope I post my question at the right place: I just installed the Diamond DA20 Katana (it seems I succeeded in that), I can start the engine and it runs, I can take off, but somehow, every time I try to fly, the engine just quits running after approximately one minute of flying. I tried with and without the fuel pump switch on and off. After the plane has come down, it cannot be restarted. For sure, the starter turns over the engine, but it won't actually start.... Anybody any idea what I do wrong here? It would be nice if my flight can be longer than one minute! …

Hey all, I'm trying to help my friend install a repaint for this freeware Q400 (downloadable here) but we keep running into a problem where once the repaint is added to the .cfg and he tries to select it in FSX, the entirety of the Q400 repaints he has installed already are completely gone. Ok guys, so in October I got Imaginesim KATL for FSX and right off the bat when I downloaded it the gates had black squares where the gate markings on the ground would normally be. I put this on the back burner until now because i really want to fly from Atlanta. Every single gate has this problem EXCEPT B25 (which i coincidentally flew from back in 2018)... On top of this, the operations center is completely broken for me. All it wants to do is ask for my order info and make me redownload the scenery over and over. I tried contacting imaginesim back in October to no avail. And yes, I did purchase this legitimately.

It looks like FSXWX has been having some serious problems lately (it went down, then some people said it was back up, then it went down again--or stayed down for me, I don't know which--and now their website, and its instructions for installation/uninstallation, are down). Here's the problem: I decided to revert to FSX's default weather files so they'd hopefully be more FSRealWX friendly (I'd saved a backup copy of the entire Weather folder before installing the FSXWX files over them, so I just copied that entire backup folder over the Weather folder, telling it to overwrite the 402 conflicts). Hi everyone, my sim is FSX SE and I use FSXWX as weather generator, It runs smoothly, but everytime I switch back to the virtual cockpit camera It freezes for 10 seconds, any ideas how to fix it?

The AS-738 by Arjan Scheffel was developed for FS9. I have found that it works quite well in FSX with one exception. One feature of the package that I really enjoy is the automatic delivery of the cabin announcements and the pilot/co-pilot verbal interaction. Sadly, I can not get this function to work in FSX. In his set up, Arjan uses the sound gauge by Doug Dawson, "dsd_xml_sound3". It works in FS9, but this gauge crashes my FSX installation. I tried using Doug's latest gauge for FSX, "dsd_fsx_xml_sound" and made the appropriate changes in the panel cfg file, but I still can not get any of the announcements to work as they do in FS9. Hello everyone, first, I know the hardware I am talking about here is older, but it serves my purpose and with FS2020 around the corner, I still to FSX and AMD to save money, no matter how many people say "get intel". I was running a 965BE with zalman water cooling at 4,1 Ghz in stock voltage for almost 8 years now and it handled FSX pretty well, although especially with ORBX scenery I was sometimes getting blurry textures. Since I had the opportunity to get my hands on an FX8350, I installed it in my system, using 254 as affinity mask. Also, that CPU runs at the same speed as my old CPU, but by default. Hi! I have new soundpack. But I discovered something that never happened to me before. When using the hat in VC or in 2D(Rear views) the sound is different. Engine sound disappears. Is there a way to keep the sound in vc cockpit constant instead of varying when you use the hat switch when view panning? Thanks

While the Feelthere ERJs are a well rounded package, there is, as usual, some room for improvement. So I've yet again tried to enhance the product value a bit. You will have to own the Feelthere ERJ v2 (regular or Steam release) in order to use this. There is partial FS9 compatibilitiy, albeit untested. FSX mods should also work in the P3D releases, but are untested as well. Problems with my harddisk resulted in a loss of programs. So I have lost my great deal of my FSX flightsim. Trying to reinstall FSX with the original dvd's resulted in two possibilities: 1. repair the FSX-program, but there is no FSX-program left on my harddisk; 2. delete the installed files of FSX, but there are no files left on my harddisk. Conculsion: the installation stops. Somewhere on my harddisk is something left or changed so that I can't reinstall my FSX. Register-problem? Windows-problem? Who can help me? Tomahawk
