Hi, I decided to look more deeply into setting the default pan position in the FSX virtual cockpit. Up to this point, I have just set the desired pan (which is 12 degrees down, so initialPbh = 12,0,0) in the main cameras.cfg file. Now of course that sets the desired panning for every aircraft in the entire sim - it isn't like the really old days when in a 2D cockpit you could change the angle you looked down by hard coding it in the panel.cfg file. Hello All i fly FSX Gold Plus Acceleration , was the top package many years ago, I probably have one of the early disc produced. Thinking of Steam , which I understand is FSX with all the updates and mods built in, so should be just a little faster than the standard FSX. Basically, whenever I fly a plane and it moves so will my camera move. And I have to constantly move it back to its original position. I have FSX, never get out of memory or any crashes. I also use chaseplane if that has something to do with it. Kareem

For all the past years I have flown in Paris in FSX I wondered about the disappearance of Butte Montmartre and the iconic Sacre Coeur. As a Francophile and a simmer I recall being fond of circling the very nicely modeled Basilica and appreciated the effort that went into modeling it. It seems however that the last time I saw it was in my "Century of Flight" edition. It was a complete mystery why and when the Butte which dominated the topography and the Basilica then shrunk down to almost nothing. Hi folks, I've recently upgraded my PC and am busy reinstalling stuff, checking each time of course. Florence is proving difficult. My FlorenceX from Aerosoft won't install correctly and when trying tore-download I find it is now withdrawn by Aerosoft. I think it was originally an FSDreamTeam scenery, since Addon Manager lists it, but i can't activate it there either. So, I gave up and looked for a alternative. The only one I found was RFSCENERYBUILDING - LIRQ FLORENCE which seems later and more detailed. So I've installed that. But there's an altitude problem. Hello, I purchased FLORIDA RealWorldScenery NorthEast, NorthWest, Central and Southern. all of them worked as expected Except The NorthEast set of files. Instead of extracting the BGL files as all the other 3 did, this one simply creates a 7 Zip Archive file named RWS-FloridaNorthwest.7z which is password protected. The Developer is of no help. They aren't home and don't answer posts on their "support" forum. Anyone else encountered this and know how to get around it? No passwords or keys are supplied at SimMarket for this.

I've been using the CLS A330 package for quite sometime now, but still haven't figured out why does the landing light and taxi light illuminate on the ground. Kinda difficult to navigate around the airport especially when flying at night. Anyone who has experienced this or knows any workaround? Thanks!

Am flying primarily addons for the default aircraft in FSX Gold, along with the Honeywell FMC Mod. But am having an issue with having too high of a pitch angle during cruise. I've tried setting various settings during pre-flight, but its pretty hit & miss. The FMC mod doesn't give any info for this. Is there a general way to determine this in order to set it properly? Any info is appreciated.

Hello Everyone, I'm currently in the process of relocating from San Diego, CA to San Antonio, TX, and have for the most part had always based my FSX aircraft out of Palomar (KCRQ) located in San Diego County. Does anyone know of, or have good quality scenery for KSAT? As I typically flew corporate class turbo-props and business jets (LJ23 and a new Phenom 100) on VATSIM; I'm specifically looking for freeware or payware KSAT scenery with a nicely detailed GA FBO (Signature Flight, Millionaire, etc.) ramp. The NAV function of my fsx-garmin autopilot does not work right (won't follow the fp, won't do the ils, etc). Anyone know of this problem?

So I posted about this in an older topic about it last night. That older topic was from 02/2015. Back then members here appeared to be having little luck getting it connected and to work. I tried last night and after a few tenacious tries got it to work. So if you create a flight plan in FSX, with the App and with a simple .exe program for the PC, you can connect with the Fltplan App and get what I thought was going to be a simple "follow yourself along your route on your iPad". Hello All. Windows 10 for some unknown reason my mouse pointer keeps flashing with the small opening program circle at the end of the pointer. Happens in Windowed or Full Screen., read disable tool tips, did not work. Noticed it was not happening in my saved flights, So just got default King Air up at Friday Harbour clicked save flight, called it number one, then reloaded number one, Pointer working normally. I normally save the aircraft set up over the monitors so not to much of a problem, reason for it ?..? But now have work around. So Steam on hold for the moment, until another W10 problem comes along. Hey I recently installed the POSKY a320 mega package from rickooo.com: https://www.rikoooo.com/downloads/viewdownload/6/674 And my Cargo doors on the aircraft do not open I have tried Shift+E+2 with no luck. I have changed the number of doors that the aircraft has in the aircraft.cfg no luck and I don't know what to do now in the manual it says cargo doors Shift+E+2 So I am really stumped I'm using gsx and this is a big problem Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Erik

I've recently bought a few V3 Megascenery Earth photoscenery add-ons. Although I am frankly disappointed by the lack of resolution compared to what I was hoping for, (I thought it might be as good as Google Maps but it seems not to be - at least in Australia), they are nevertheless a mildly entertaining way to keep my attention till I move to the new MS platform. Of course the obvious problem with this sort of scenery is you lose so much - all autogen, all stock buildings, pretty much all objects except a tiny few like windsocks. I realise I could probably buy airports to layer on top but it is pointless (and very expensive) with my 10 year old old system, especially when…

Hi all, So I'm okay until I have to turn on nav hold to resume GPS navigation. I do so, and as far as I know my nav is set to the correct mode. However, heading hold is still on. I thought that was supposed to go off? If I turn it off manually with Control+H and turn on Nav hold with CTRL+N, I get a "bank angle" callout from the GPWS callouts I have installed which means it's making a 30+deg turn for some reason. Could this be because it is in nav mode and not GPS? And if this is the case, is there a way to switch nav modes via the keyboard? I only see CTRL+N in reference to nav hold. Thanks.

Hello. Simple question is there away of removing the eye candy shadowing around the FSX default aircrafts cockpits. Also is there away of removing the control Yokes from the virtual cockpit, it coverer up Instruments like the RMI or others when using third party control devices. Trubshaw.

Something has be bugging me for some time regarding the vegetation in FSX:SE - Terra Flora's vegetation, not the default stuff: I wanted to double check that I was getting the correct trees for the landclass - I'm sure there not that many pine trees in the UK where I was flying over, not to mention I get them now and again in Florida... So, I went to re-install Terra Flora and I got the Invalid licence message. I'd forgotten my password so I had to reset that by following the instructions on turbulentdesigns website. I have used FSFlightkeeper for more than 20 years now via network in FSX with a valid license and no problems. Since beginning of 2020 I am suddenly having a strange problem. After initialisation of the ACARS device, it says "Trial Period ended" and can't be started although my license is still valid. Setting back the system time to an earlier date in 2019 resolves the problem, but as you can imagine, changing the system time is not really the workaround that I would like to use. Can anybody confirm this problem? Or even better: Did anybody already find another solution than mine? Any help greatly appreciated. Regards, draci

The screen has started flashing & jumping around when I increase the throttle. When I decrease or turn off engine the screen is steady.

Hi..just loaded the FSX version of the TM B737-200 into FSX SE. All is well, except there's no undercarriage. Is this a compatibility issue, has anyone else had the same? Regards ZA
