Hello; I really hope that someone can help me with this. I recently installed a free 737 add-on pack with different liveries included. It came with its own installer. After it was installed i went to load one of the liveries...but most of the textures of the virtual cockpit were missing!...as you can see in the images. The first image is how its supposed to look like, and the other image is how it looks in my fsx. Why are the textures missing...is there a fix for this?... By the way, I am already running fsx in compatibility mode for older versions of windows. And also...this problem does not happen with the default aircraft...only addons. An…

Hi, Are there many other varieties for good quality cheap or freeware UK VFR airfields? as I feel despite UK2000 giving quantity it lacks quality and vice versa for ORBX. thanks, Bill

I have went for a Holiday in Australia way back in September to December, once I came back I had to uninstall my fsx but when I installed I must have made something wrong because although I have installled IVAP when I have my fsx running I can't go on line. The drop down window appears but nothing happens. I have to make something very clear I am 76 years old and I am no computer guru far from it, can anyone help please? I ADORE THE GAME PLEASE HELP!

Sorry, but couldn't find this in searches: I just noticed that the 06 and 07 runways are not in my FSX dropdown anymore. The only addon I have is Ray Smith's 2019 LAX scenery.Does anyone know what I might have done to hide them? Thanks in advance! Stay safe, sane and healthy!! Joe Purpura

Back on FSX:Steam more during this lock down. Since Sim flying around 1998 I've logged 1400+ hours in GA props from Piper Arrow to 421/441. Have several (mostly) Carabeao A/C's have many likes and dislikes about each one with favorite being the 310R. But since the night flying requires having the dome light on I switch to the Pipers and beech's for night flight. However, I dusted off and pulled chocks from the RealAir Duke the other day and was reminded how well behaved and near perfect these aircrafts are. Everything works. Hello Everyone So...when the SSD drives finally got right on the price, I decided to do a new clean install of windows 10 64 bit. After loading all the drivers and updates and running in and out of the system for a couple of days, I pulled out my three DVD "Gold" FSX set and tried to install FSX. All is well until the screen reads "removing applications" It gets about 5 "progress blocks" displayed and then just hangs there. If you restart and try to reload you get an error. I've wiped the drive 3 times and each time on installation, I get the same issue. Is there a known workaround or simple solution for this ? Jim

I realize this is going to be a general question, but am going to ask anyway. Am currently flying FSX Gold with the Accel pack, and am going to update to another sim, but not totally sure which way to go. Am considering either P3d 4.5 or Xplane 11. Also, not sure if I should wait till FS2020 releases. I know there are pro's & cons for each, but I'd like some other opinions. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanx.

I downloaded 2 aircraft from TDS and they are not showing up in my fsx aircraft list, i find this so annoying! anyone have a answer to this??

Hi everyone! i have a few questions, hopefully im in the right forum haha 1. when im in approach with the Project opensky 777 or pmdg 777, i tend to have a really high angle of attack, and it gets kinda annoying becuase i have hard landings (in FSX) 2. After reinstalling this camera add on I can't display the camera position control panel. Alt tab show that the panel is opened but it can't be displayed. I think I remember from the first time I installed EZdok 3 that the problem is because the window is opened outside the desktop !!? And we need in some way move the window into view on the desktop. But I am unable to find out how even after google search and trying all kind of keys. Annoying since EZDok is pretty useless for me now. Does anyone happen to know how to solve this ?

Hello, Early versions of the Mk I had a wooden fixed pitch prop and the later ones had a metal two-position constant speed three bladed prop. I have looked in all of my reference books including my Spitfire Pilot's Manual and can find no mention of a variable pitch constant speed prop, even in the later marks. Does anyone know if any of the Spitfire marks had a variable pitch prop with a CSU? Or does the prop control on the quadrant only have two settings that control coarse and fine pitch. Hi I have a problem with my FSX SE. When I am flying long flight my FSX during approach or in the end of flight is starting freezing than unfreezing and over and over again. That's look like freeze for 30 sec than unfreeze for 10s than freeze and everything repeats... When I restart my FSX everything is OK. Anybody know the sollution?

Hi there! Long time FSX user here. I've been trying to find an AI traffic software that uses accurate Flight Plans and new/updated liveries to make my sim more realistic. Anyone know a great freeware ai traffic software that does this? I know about World of AI but that uses old liveries and it is practically dead. I installed a Scx Airhispania scenary and after I restart de fsx and show me this window ( In the photo: .scenariy read error. trying to open a nonexistent directory e: fsx / texture. click to continue.) After, I choose the plane, the charging bar goes to 100% and then frozen. And Fsx not responding. I deleted all scx scensries and nothing happens. The same error. Do you know what is happening? In real life, I fly IFR on two different models of the SOCATA TB20: - One is a GT, equipped with an Aspen EFD100 + Dual GTN650 - The second one has a standard Bendix King ADI+HSI + Dual GNS430 Forced on ground by Covid-19 😓, I have no other solutions but using FSX to maintain IFR skills alive. But I am struggling to find the right aircraft + gauges mix in order to replicate at least one of the two sets above, in a virtual cockpit (I do not like 2D gauges) I have tried for now: - JustFlight TB20, Carenado A36, A2A A35 - RXP GNS430W, RXP GTN650, Flight1 Aspen 1000 Great stuff, indeed... but unfortunately, there is no way …

Hy Guys, I´m looking for a solution to remove the anoying reflections on the Feelthere´s Phenom 100 windshield. That kind of effect is cool, but in that case is simply unreal. I've been looking at Pro ATC X for a while, however, I have always had problems with SimConnect installing. When I download it from fspassengers, none of the 3 programs install. This is the only issue preventing me from purchasing it. Thanks in advance, Luke Dunkley

Hi folk, I know this is not steam but I have the FSXSE version and also have the XPlane and AFS2 steam versions. My problem is that I keep getting notifications of new discussions for XPlane and AFS2 when I no longer play those sims. How do I unsubscribe to a discussion stream and just leave it for my FSXSE? I have tried doing search for this information but get hundreds of seeming irrelevant answers. I am obviously not asking the question the right way. Any pointers appreciated thanks. 🙂

Hey guys I'm new here, and I'd like asking for help I just downloaded the Airbus 318/319/320/321 collection from Aerosoft and I'm having an issue with the navigation display. I can't see the whole screen, I'm just seeing a part of it like a quarter of the route and I dont know why or how to fix it. I'll show you a pic of it. Please Help!

My scenery is broken, i bought fsx a week ago and after installation i noticed that the scenery is broken like in st barts the runway is in the middle of the island and in lukla there is mountain in both side (ther should be mountain in only in side ) In st barts there is no slope or sea in the end of the runway Help would be appreciated thanks in advance . I own two KPHX and KSFO HQ sceneries from Flightbeam. Everything including jetways work very well in FSX Deluxe set in Windows 10 Pro. However, when I use FSX default replay for purpose of creating screenshots, jetways disappear during replays but otherwise jetways work well in normal non-replay condition. Please advise??
