I purchased the Just Flight Beechcraft Duchess on FSX:SE and I can't seem to get the pilot gone from the tail tie down. This is my second flight with the plane, and he was missing on the first one, but I can't get him gone for this one! I push SHIFT + E + 4 and the pilot animates the wing chock and the front wheel chock, but then nothing on the tail? He doesn't go away! Any ideas? Thanks!

I recently updated to Windows 10 2004 and Nvidia driver 446.14-desktop-win10-64bit-international-dch-whql. This made the text disappear in the FSX Menu and ATC window. After trying everything else, I removed the 446.14 driver and replaced it with 442.59-desktop-win10-64bit-international-dch-whql, which has solved the problem. I would be interested to know if anyone else has had the same problem. This is FSX Gold, FSX Steam Edition was not affected.

Hello, Over the past month, I have been training myself via the NATOPS manuals for a virtual Navy squadron. I finished the T-6 Texan program, and am in the T-45 program. I downloaded vLSO, and opened it, and I didn't quite understand how to use it. I read the manual, and made sure I was using the right aircraft and carriers, and I don't know how to do it. It seems like their should be a master connect button, but their isn't, and the manual didn't exactly help. Thanks, Vapor

I was descending to UTTT and weather was clear, all of a sudden the plane banked violently more than 40 degrees, disconnected AP took control and continued approach. 7 miles from the runway it happened again with no obvious reason. Its like the plane was slapped and its all over the place although sky was clear, could a thermal do this? My thermal settings in FSX is natural or this is some weird AS16 behavior. really out me off after many hours of flying, i was in a PMDG777 anyone else experienced such a thing before? thanks

Hey all, So I have played FSX for a couple months now, and I am decent at it, but not good enough to join or create like a virtual navy squadron, which is my goal. So I'm trying to form a flight training plan for myself. I have the planes, the IRIS T-6 Texan II and the Dino Cattaneo T-45 Goshawk. I was just wondering like what the schedule would be, like what flights I do which things, and how many flights until the next step. Thanks, Vapor

Probably a stupid question but, before I plunge in, it seemed sensible to ask here as searches have produced no results. I do quite a lot of modifying of aircraft,cfg files to change values to suit (things like "views" , "lights" placings etc). Generally this will be trial and error and I will select another aircraft while changing the values before reloading the target to check the effect -clearly a lengthy process. This would be a lot easier if I had some way of locating the target section quicker. I was wondering if its possible to reorder the sections in the individual aircraft.cfg file (specifically in alpha order) so that I can find them quicker…

I use Denmark Scenery 1.4 and my airport vehicles at Aalborg airport are above ground level, is there anything one can change in their .cfg to reduce the height. Gate 4 is the only gate that has service vehicles at this airport .

Since upgrading to Windows 10 last summer, I have been having more OOM issues. I am using FSX.SE with all the ORBX global add-ons plus New Zealand and Australia. I usually fly with Pilot's FSGRW with updates and little Navconnect so I can used LittleNavmap on another computer. I use FSUIPC to monitor the memory and display it. I start process explorer when I start having issues to see what is happening. I am fully aware of the 32-bit 4GB limit and have done all the fixes for OOM issues I could find. When i choose an airport on the main menu, it used to be very fast. Now i noticed the plane is freezing for couple of seconds while loading the airport. this happened for both default and 3rd party addons. also the sim is freezing for couple of seconds during flight, i guess loading scenery. this all happened after i uninstall ultimate traffic live so i guess something messed up my scenery cfg or dll or library. any ideas.

Hi I am about to do a clean reinstall of Windows 10 and all my sofware to a new NVME M.2 drive. However I have misplaced my acceleration pack disc and key. 😞 It should be with the FSX box 😞 Is it possible to download the Accelaration pack installer and recover the key from my current install? I tried Belarc. Although it shows FSX-Xpack and the version number the key is not listed. Thanks for your time and any info. B R

Am getting black squares in the contrails again. Ever since I installed a new RTX2060, they are back again. DX10 preview is unchecked as per mentioned in an earlier post to fix, and have already tried to check & uncheck again to see if it would fix. No luck. Anyone have any thoughts? Let me know. 😕

Recently finished a upgrade to my system and am having some fps issues and not sure what to try to smooth things out. My sys. includes : i7 8700 3.2Gb, EVGA RTX2060, 32Gb Corsair "Vengeance LPX" RAM, FSX Gold, Orbx Global Base pkg., REX4 w/ Soft Clouds & AS16. Might be a dumb question, but will ask anyway. Is there an app that can be used as a pop-up screen or in the kneeboard that will show airport taxiway routes given by ATC instead of using Progressive Taxi? I'm looking for something that can be used in FSX & P3d. I already have LittleNavMap, and it has great info, but it pauses the sim when used & only shows where you have already gone, not the taxi route you have to go.

Hoping someone might be able to help me out here. I downloaded and installed the OZx v3.5 full package for FSX. Included in the package are the OZx File Libraries v1.2, but not v1.0 and v1.1. I'm getting black buildings and some areas with totally missing objects. I've searched all over the internet for the two missing packages with no luck. Would someone with this package be so kind as to send the v1.0 and v1.1 File Libraries to me? Thanks!! Markus

Hi, I'm having a problem with the 737-800 GPS. I've set up a flight plan and activated the VOR LOC switch, but the GPS always follow a line about 20 degrees less from where it should be (the pattern is following heading 36, but it goes heading 14). Can somebody help me?

This might seem a bit vague but I was wondering if anyone has had the same trouble. A while ago I did a fresh reinstall of my system. I have a Dell Latitude running Windows 7. Ever since the reinstall I have had recurring messages saying that my copy of Windows is not genuine. Windows came pre installed so I have no physical copy of Windows a few weeks ago I decided to resinstall both FS9 and FSX. FS9 wouldn't run at all. It installed okay but when I double clicked the start icon it was busy for a few seconds, then nothing happened. I tried installing it on another laptop at home and the result was the same. Recently installed Orbx, Rex4 w/ Soft Clouds Enhanced Edition and AS16, but now am having some issues in FSX that I'm not sure how to rectify. 1. Am getting flickering on runway lines and have lost Progressive Taxi completely. 2. All street lights are showing up as black squares and a/c wing lights are now white squares. 3. various aircraft are now only showing up as white w/ no details. None of these happened before installing the new programs with the recommended settings that were given. Lockdown has allowed me time to reactivate Microsoft FSX, and with a new high capacity SSD I have also reloaded Playsim Generation X VFR Photographic Scenery Scotland South which I own. I'm struggling to get a copy of Generation X Central Scotland. Can anyone help?

I've not played around much with this aircraft, or indeed some other which I obtained during SimMarket's wonderful 1 a day giveaway. I believe that on the Do328JET that there are no speedbrakes, only ground spoilers which deploy on landing. Fine by me so far... I took the Dornier out for a brief hop. I did a full flap landing and the spoilers deployed as they should. What I didn't expect was quite a vicious and pronounced pitch up when they did so! 😰 I don't believe that the real aeroplane exhibits such behaviour. 😄 Anyone else have similar experiences, is there a workaround apart from be ready to push the stick forward? Hi, I must admit at the outset that I do have quite a lot of FSX scenery add-ons, however, after recently accessing the scenery library to add a new scenery, the list of sceneries installed with FSX had all disappeared apart from the 2 most recent entries. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what might have caused this problem? Thank you for and help and support to help in fixing this issue. Kind Regards
