Hi all, I'm naming this thread Titles and Library for this is a problem for me that the name of an aircraft in many cases is different from the name of the aircraft cfg file. In the library of FSX the plane shows as Airbus A300-600. It's cfg file states the title as A300B4-603...then added is in this case Mahan Air EP-MNU. This brings me to my 1st question.: If I want to find and install an addon for this plane, which title should I search on, to ensure the addon will actually reflect on this plane?. Hi guys, I'm sure my questions/problems are a first for many of you!..lol...I have this problem: I flew IFR in an Airbus A300-600. However this plane does not seem to have ILS capability, so I flew IFR to make sure I get ligned up with the runway..well more or less, that is. I realized I was flying too high on approach and thought to skip this landing and fly to another airport not too far away. The problem now is that ATC is stuck on the previous landing, giving me options only to declare missed approach. I chose that selection, hoping I would get other options in the list to cancel the landing intention....no such luck. So, now while flying to the other airpo…

Need help with the luggage carts after landing and arriving at the gate. I have FSX Gold/Acceleration SP1 on Windows 10 desktop. e.g The TFS 773ER when arrives at gate, Jetways and fuel truck no probs, the luggage carts do service the cargo doors but keep going back and forth. I also have the FAIB AI aircrafts and the luggage carts service the cargo doors only once after landing. I have used several different numbers in the cfg exits, either the above results or doesn't work at all. I have also purchased some of the FSPXAI base model aircrafts and they are doing the same, or nothing. Can anyone PLEASE help as I have over 50 AI airlines and at busy airports it get cr…

good evening, I know the wilco A380 is very poor quality, but anyway I have a huge problem!! the A380 is banking left and right around the route 3 degrees each time but it is very annoying. the speed is good, the FD is on, it is very strange... anyone know why, or think to know why ? thanks for your help !!

Just upgraded to windows 10pro from 7pro. Now FSX won't load a flight and freezes unless DX10 preview box is checked. However, with DX10 checked, scenery has black boxes along major roads. How can I run FSX without DX10 preview checked? i7-3930, 16GB ram, GEforce 1060 with 6GB ram. Thanks for your help and suggestions. Dale

I have just rebuilt my PC with a new Motherboard, CPU, new 'C' drive SSD etc etc with new Windows 10 operating system on it. On my old 'C' drive which is still connected I had installed Microsoft Simulator x. Unfortunately I do not have the disks. SO when I open up my old 'C' drive I can look at the flight programme and when I click on the icon to run the programme it flags up two errors. Can anybody help me overcome this and get the programme to work again? Hello there I as many do I'm having problems getting ASN to run over a network. I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have been running ASN with FSX-SE on my main pc for a while with no issues. I then however wanted to run it from a second pc on my network. So I have uninstalled it from the main pc. (server) and I have it installed on the client. I used both the add and remove uninstall method and the unistall via steam but ASN is still on my main pc all the files, everything. I think whatever problems I'm having getting ASN to connect over the network I think they may well stem from or be made worse by the fact that the program is installed…

I need some help from someone! I fly FSX but a problem has developed, possibly created while my computer was in a repair shop. A new controller has appeared out of the blue, it is called a "3 axis 9 buttons joystick" and takes control when I try to fly. There are several wierd things, firstly I don't have a "3 axis 9 buttons Joystick" and I always fly using a Saitek Flight Yoke. However when I start up FSX and check the current controller that is in control it is the nefarious joystick again. As I don't have one of these I can't fly without changing the default back to the Saitek Yoke. I would love to get rid of this thing but I can't find any way of deleti…

Good Day, In Granite Falls MN, their is a really neat WWII museum called Fagan's Fighters. The museum is in hangars on the airport grounds of KGDB. The coolest part about the museum is everything flies, and it is right on the runway for the airport. I was looking at the FSX default one, and it's basically just generic. I was wondering if someone could make a scenery for KGDB with all the hangars, the old fashion control tower, and if it's not too hard the WWII bunker out back. Hey, So I have been playing FSX:SE for about 6 months now, and never had this problem. It started a week or so ago when I was messing with the controls, and decided not to change anything. When I exited out, the problem started. When I move my hat switch to look around, it is no very slow, robotic and blocky. I have tried this with 4 different planes, some add-on some not, and I have tried tons of different views as well. Please help.

After installing FSDreamteams's CYVR airport scenery, I'm experiencing a screen freeze for about 25 seconds when starting a flight anywhere near CYVR - even starting at Vancouver Harbor aerodrome 7 nm away. I also get about a 5 second freeze when I get close to the runway on approach. I get acceptable performance for FSX:SE for the most part just about anywhere else (including flying over ORBX EU-Wales terrain), but I really struggle for frame rates around Vancouver CA. I also have Ultimate Terrain X Canada installed. Prior to installing FSDT CYVR I was only getting a mid-high 20 fps around Vancouver, but not the dismal high teens I now occasionally experience post C…

Hi! I haven't used my flight sim in over a year but recently I've gotten back into it. I forgot how much fun I had operating flights through fsx. I'm from the Boston area and KBOS is my home airport. For whatever reason the airport in the sim is completely out of wack. I don't have much knowledge in the technicalities of all of this but I believe it's a texture issue but I cannot pinpoint the problem. The runways and airport buildings are present, along with taxiway signs however, grass and taxiways are completely black. I've removed any add-on's I had for KBOS and still no luck. I just installed the setup files for OPUS v6 and ran PDKSETUP.EXE as administrator ... I get a command window that states "OpusPDK Setup Program ... Press Key to Continue". I press a key other than Enter and nothing happens. I then press the Enter key and the dialog box goes away without installing. Thanks in advance for your help. C. T. Hi there, I downloaded the Embraer ERJ 195-FlyBe for FSX, only to find the plane is invisible on the runway. I will attach the files that came with the download. All I have done was after the download I copied and pasted the main folder in flightobjects/airplane folder. Could someone please shed some light on this for me?. Thank you kindly. just realized I'm not sure how to upload the folders?

What a nuisance. Because of this SODE issue which after numerous attempts to try and find the problem, the only solution is a complete uninstall and then reinstalling from scratch. Over a 140 Gigabytes of files. Orbx is the worst with connection interruptions every time. This is going to take forever.

Is there a list of aircrafts with "EXIT" values so I can use Sode for the Jetways. I have found on internet an exit list for my Project Airbus A380, which I managed to get it to work which was less complicated than I imagined. The list included other developers, this list is from several years ago.

I run fsx with orbx and many other addons like as16, rex sky force, project fly, ... Sometimes i get black squares on approach only for couple of seconds as the airport and area around it being loaded even with stock airports. Any idea what that might be although i dont get them while starting a flight even with using pmdg and mega scenery. I also noticed my scenery library order is not matching the scenery cfg and also the scenery indexes number at the end are a bit messed up in terms or sequence dont know if this has to do with the problem. How would I get sounds from a virtual cockpit to the 2D cockpit? I recently purchased the QW787 and the 2D cockpit has outside sounds instead of cockpit sounds. How would I get the same VC sounds into the 2D cockpit?

Hello everyone. I finally just purchased and dowloaded Coolsky's DC9. The download seem to go ok but i have not gotten anywhere because the MOUSE will absolutely not work in the virtual cockpit. Will not flip one switch. Also the aircraft dowload was supposed to be accompanied by a program screen with the load balance, etc. Cannot figure out why that's not there either. I am running Windows 10 and FSX:SE. Can anyone give me any hints or help as to what the problem may be ? I appreciate it.

Is there anything like tomatoshade for FSX as it is not compatible?

Having looked at the Bendix King KLN90B instructions as per Flight1, I cannot get the DIRECT TO knob to work... I am loading in a saved flight, but when I do, the KLN is powered off. On power up i can call up the flightplan but is shows the leg from my departure airport to the first waypoint. I can scroll down the list, but when I press the direct to followed by the enter key 3 times, the aircraft still doesn't respond. If I switch the autopilot to nav rather than leaving it on its current heading, it immediately begins to turn round to go back to that first waypoint. Could someone please try and take me through the procedure, assuming it's not a bug in FSX or t…

As my title says and i think it says it all my sim (FSX\Accl.) is dumping me again when I use a saved flight and use views. doesn't give me an specific error, just freezes. when i look at The Event Viewer sometimes it says NVIdia video or Nvidia audio ?? I checked the UIAutomationCore.dll as this was an offending reason as to why this occurred both in windows System32 and compared it against the one in the FSX tree, together with the UI.dll and they are all different. Maybe someone can help me review which version is the correct one for the .dll's and dates and of course where they go? FSX no joy right now in Saved Flights Berlopez
