I often hear that P3D is supposed to be better then FSX but nobody explains why . Are the sceneries better ? What else ? I am anxious to hear your opinions Paul12

Hi, After 7 yrs I had to remove my FSX from my WIN XP-PC because of bugs. Reinstallation worked fine, product key was accepted, but the activation by internet did not work. When calling the support of MS they told me there is no support for WIN XP and the FSX any longer. So I have a legal software and cannot run it. Does anybody have a suggestion?

So I've recently had time to do some more longer flights on FSX given the recent situation and all, and I noticed one thing has changed during my recent flights. I've been flying a default 737 across the country, and today I went from KLAX to Honolulu International in a default 747 -- and at some point the 737 started not flying level, and the 747 did the same today. So I tried to trim both the aircraft to fly level, by trimming the elevators downward, however it did not yield the expected result. What happened was the nose leveled out, however the aircraft began to lose altitude, and the autopilot put the trim back where it was and corrected the altitude. So I disengaged…

Recently got the Vcol Embraer Ejet E2 pkg. Does anyone know if there are any addon liveries for the E170/75-E2, and the E190/95-E2? I checked the Vcol site with no luck, and can't seem to find any anywhere else. The older version has some available, but not the E2 version. Any help would be great. Thanx.

Recently purchased & installed the Carenado Premier 1A in FSX and am having serious framerate issues. As per Carenado, the sys. requirements are : 3Gb Pentium, 4Gb RAM, a 512 vcard, Windows 10 & 1.1 Gb of HD space. Am currently using the following sys. : Win 10/64bit, FSX with Acceleration Pack, an i7 8700 3.2Gb 6-core, GTX1050Ti 4Gb vcard (will be upgrading to a GTX2060 by 1st June), and 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666 RAM. All of which beat the Carenado requirements. After I get the new vcard, will hopefully be installing it in P3d. However, when in the Sim, I'm only getting .5 fps! Hi friends, Hope you are all keeping well during these times. On many of my freeware airliners (like the excellent Thomas Ruth A330-200/300) Im hearing EXTERNAL engine and wind noise when I cycle to the passenger wingview. It ruins immersion for me. Its like you are sitting OUTSIDE on the wing during a Mach 0.84 cruise 🙄 Of course when I cycle back to the flight deck the sound reverts to interior mode. Why doesnt FSX play the same internal sounds in wingview? I then panned the camera around while in wingview and found that the camera viewpoint is located OUTSIDE the fuselage. Without spending too much money, which addon would be best to make the overall scenery look better for both FSX & P3d? I already have the settings relatively high, but want to make them more natural & smoother.

I am totally clueless in SODE gimmick. Does anybody know SODE stuff please?? I have version 1.64 and all new payware sceneries ask me to install 1.65. If I do it, will it overwrite previous version or do I have to uninstall older version first before installing version 1.65 please?? Will it screw up all existing payware sceneries that I have in pc that are still using SODE 1.64? Thanks

Hello all, I am currently having issues with antialiasing in FSX-SE. It seems that no matter what I do, I cannot get antialiasing to work. I am running the sim in DX10 with Steve's DX10 fixer, I have tried tweaking NVIDIA inspector, but I just cannot get antialiasing to work. I hate the jagged, pixilated edges of the scenery and planes I'm flying. My FSX.cfg and in the sim indicates that anti-aliasing is enabled but it is clearly not. Just downloaded & installed the Flight1 B200 Super King Air V2. 1. There was no manual included with the install. (The only document was a revision history.) 2. I haven't been able to find the Maintenance Module. 3. Even though the main battery is on, I'm not getting anything to show up on the displays. Am not sure if I should try to re-install or not ( I don't want to screw anything else up ). I did a cpl quick flights & it works just fine except for these issues. Even landed it smoothly at 80kts. Any thoughts would be very helpful.

Hello everyone, I am trying to install SimConnect but it get's installed into one folder down from where it should be. The .dll files are put in the fusion folder inside of WinSxS instead of just going into WInSxS, because of this no addons can detect that SimConnect is installed. I know it's installed because I can see it in control panel. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi all, hoping somebody can help me. When I add some add on scenery files I am unable to get ILS information for the added airport ie the ident and the DME. When disable the add on scenery I get all the information. hopefully somebody knows what is causing this. Many thanks for your help.

Does anyone have or know where I can get an up-to-date afcad for Ramstein AFB ETAR. The stock version in my copy of FSX-SE has only one runway, 09/27. The airbase actually has second longer runway, 08/26. Any help will be appreciated, Jim Driskell

Hi everybody. I tried to install FSXWX for my FSX-SE. I have followed all the steps they are trying to follow, even the installation of FSUPC (without registration), but every time I try to start FSXWX I don't get connected and it says "SIMCONNECT - Connection failed".
