May 14, 20206 yr Administrators Has this computer ever had FSX installed on it? Are the DVDs brand new or did you buy a used copy? Check both DVDs for marks or scratches Try Google searching fsx error 1603. May 14, 20206 yr Forget the DVDs if you can't complete the install - Download the hassle-free FSX-STEAM for a nominal one-time fee (as many here wait in a holding pattern for the MSFS 2020).
May 15, 20206 yr I think I have the deluxe version with SP1 and SP2. I hope your DVD problems can be overcome because I have found it a good and stable installation.

May 15, 20206 yr Administrators If the old FSX was not uninstalled correctly, there can be remnants of it on your computer causing your error.
