Guys I posted in wrong section before ..So please remove that.. I have shimmering in FSX that's unstoppable .. I am using Nvidia inspector FSX settings ! Still no luck Shimmering arises while in motion I can see the airport , taxiway and runway shimmering. Please help me out what additionally i can do to make it stop? Thanks a lot RIG i7 8GB RAM GTX680 Drivers of GPU is fully updated.

I have REX essentials plus with OD with I use flight aware schedules which pre loads routes in FSX. FSX has its own waypoints when I schedule IFR within FSX, but they are completely different from the real world schedule. I would like to use the default ATC in FSX but it always tells me to turn this way or that way or puts me on a different runway than the route I have planned through flight aware. Is there a way to accurately use both? Right now I just don't open IFR until I am ready to land that way I don't have to keep listening to them say turn this way etc.

Just wondering what’s coming up in hardware that is going to change the FSX landscape. No pun intended! CPU I guess is the big one. What do Intel have up their sleeve. Will 5+ Ghz stable be possible on water? Is there going to be a GTX 780? Will there be any game changing hardware by the fall or will it be much the same as now?

Take off and airborne seems good and fun! then I decrease throttle, keep the lateral by making rudder inputs, and keep the pitch steady.. still I had hardship in keeping it not to move forward, backward and rapid descent.. how can I land it like smoothly? Should I focus on throttle to descend it or pitch? I'm using Logitech attack 3 joystick and XboX Generic Controller. I have completed FSX missions 9 and 10 but I still have harsh landing.. Thanks

I don't own this plane but factoring in the severe lack of bizjets I might get it. It appears to use similar gauge design to their C750. Unfortunately I've been having a lot of MFD freezes with that one. I'm wondering if you guys have encountered any similar freezes on the CJ1?

Hi Guys: Pretty sure it does not exist as I have looked everywhere but is there an audio software that announces the arrival airports name, heard it on a youtube video but must have been custom, now I am talking about software such as FDC Live cockpit – Fspassengers - etc. by the way FDC live cockpit is a great program, thought I ask, thanks.

Good day What are the Only Services that i should have running or i should say the FSX needs, when flying on Line Pretty much all i want to know is which services that must be runing with FSX online flying i look and i see i have 65 running in my task manager thank you

When I'm on the runway I notice some of the lines are moving. Once in the air, off in the dinstance, I'll see the ground swirling around. Right now I have REX, freeware from ORBX,MEGA EARTH. It's noticeable no matter where I fly.

Hello All! I was wondering if anyone had links to missions recreating real world situations? It would be interesting to try a hand at situations real pilots have faced, and see if we are able to recover. I was thinking along the lines of AF447 or Delta 191. Obviously nothing hijack related or an accident caused strictly by pilot error. I have heard of at least one but I was wondering if there were others. Thanks! -abasa12

Hey everyone! I have been having this really annoying problem lately. Whenever I am starting up a flight and I am in the VC I notice a crackling/popping sound... I know this is not what the plane is suppose to sound like.. I thought maybe it was because I am on the ground.. So I took-off and I still hear that annoying sound! I was reading other forums and they told me different solutions that might help. All of those solutions did not help at all. I reinstalled and updated the drivers... Still the same sound. I was hoping if one of you have had the same problem and were able to fix it! Thanks John

When it comes to running out of memory (VAS) in FSX, I understand things CAN or MIGHT improve by closing down non essencial apps and services etc??? Can someone tell if it's worth doing this whilst FSX is already running, or must I close FSX first, THEN shut down what I can? My 'guess' would be the latter, with the knowledge that FSX requires 'contiguous' VAS, but thought it worth asking. Ta!

Hi all., after having some issues , thanks to a registry cleaner , & a full repair not correcting the problems I have now re installed win 7 ultimate 64 bit back on my ssd , I'm now ready to re install fsx & all my add ons onto my vrap drive , I know its important to install as administrator & anti virus had to be off , I also know to install fsx & run it , do the default flight , close it , restart pc , install acceleration , run it do default flight , close it then restart . Then , now here's the question , is it best to install all my add on aircraft first or all my add on scenery or does it not matter which order it goes in , I will be doing 1 install …
