How the heck do you taxi, takeoff and land tail draggers? For the first time I tried the default FSX DC-3. Running through the checklist, firing it up (pretty engine sound though incredibly quiet (too quiet?)in the cabin btw), push back then ACK!!! I'm seeing mostly sky and a black flight dash. Even looking left'ish you still there is no way I can see the taxiway pavement. Huge wide runways not as big a problem but same goes for the med to small runway, have no clue where it is under the plane. What do you guys do to see, cheat and go outside view? Can barely see the Twotter in front of me. Could pretend I'm 8 feet tall but that's kinda lame.

Hi I understand there is a file that gives better rain effects on triple screen set ups, ie gets rid of the umbrella effect. I have done a search of the library but only found a fs2004 file and was after one for FSX running on DX9 Can anybody point me in the right direction for the file? Thanks in advance Steve

This idéa came to me the other day, when i was playing FSX and wanted to play releasticly. So i was looking at the website all the time for checklist, but that's not easy. How about having them on my mobile all the time?! No internet connection needed, just open the app, select your aircraft and you're good to go! Now the reason i'm comming here is to ask you! I have taken the decision that I will fly nothing in the future except modern aircraft, G1000 because it can update with the latest Nav Data and OPUS weather because it just plain works!! Hi guys, I was looking to further improve my realism for fsx. This time, I am talking about sceneries. I have seen many of these "As real as it gets" fsx videos online. They mentioned the sceneries add on they use but it's hard to choose from. My friend suggested me to go for GEX + UTX and REX. I am not sure about his idea. I also heard this thing called FSGenesis, I don't get the description, can you guys tell me what it does and what scenery add-on should I use to make my fsx more realistic. Hi all, well I know topics about sweetfx are here somewhere but could someone advise me as to how to assign a new keystroke to Sweetfx, as my key board does not have scrolllock key to be able to turn Sweetfx off & on, as for the Pause key to inject new shaders I guess I could assign a new key for FSX to pause the game instead, (am I correct?). I have had a really bad time with the ENBseries CTD's but this does look like it works. If anybody could help me out that would be great. Cheers Rod.

There is an airport in FSX which has unrealistic cliffs covering it on all three sides. The airport is basically carved into a mountain, when in real life it is much different. I'd like to lower the terrain surrounding the airport so it doesn't look so cheesy. Does anyone know of an easy way that I can raise and lower terrain in FSX for just a small area?

Some time ago I found a tip how to fix the rain effect in FSX using a file called rain40.zip and it really has been a major improvement so thanks again to the author behind this fix !! I asked about it also in this thread -> http://forum.avsim.net/topic/398286-rain40-fix-only-for-dx10/ but unfortunately I never received any replies, does anyone know if there is some way to also fix the snow effect in FSX in a similar way getting rid of the very unrealistic and ugly "tunnel" effect and also make the look of the snow less intense in the same brilliant way the rain40 fix does this for the rain effect?

After i get done flying click the end flying the next page comes up ok, but no airplane showing it is black switch airplanes the same thing.It is always black,till I get out of FSX and re- start it.It never has done this before any ideas?????

I was reading over on the Fsdreamteam forum, when I came across Virtuali's (Admin) statement on WHY they quit developing scenery for FS9. I really like it, and it basically summs up to me why they stopped, and hopefully it will sup up to the others.

Hello, Everytime I'm flying, if I don't set the labels on the aircraft I am not able to see them because the distance in wich they appear is very small. Anyone knows a tweak to extend this distance and to be able to spot planes at a further distance? Thank you guys

I noticed one thing this time i flew with the pmdg 737 ngx. A little square was in the upper left corner, so i decided to drag it out. I could then rezize it and move it around. But i could never really get it back. WHAT IS IT? Here are the attached file at missed at first post. :Thinking:

First let me say I have ZERO regrets in purchasing OpusFSX. I was very hesitant in purchasing because I have been a long time AS user, but I would not hesitate to recommend this product. With that being said, is there any real advantage from running OpusFSX from a network vs local? I am wondering how much FPS you really save from doing so? I typically only run OpusFSX and maybe an ACARS/Air Hauler program opened in conjunction. Other add-ons are MTX 5.4b, Accu-Feel (with turbulence off). Thanks LW

Guys read that: FSX Acceleration is the MULTI-Core feature integrated into FSX. Doesn't the patchs take care of that ? dont care about extra aircraft so should I be loading this for a good reason also have loaded a bunch of stuff now would it be ok to load it now ? Thanks
