Hi,I was checking out the C-5 Galaxy I got from Alphasim. When flown in good weather, everything worked great. But when flown in stormy weather themes, the VC windows were blued out and I couldn't see anything outside. For a moment before that happened (each time I spawn in stormy weather), the cockpit works fine but flickers black and then blues out. Can anyone help???Thanks!

It drives me potty the way that FSX sounds go strange if switching views while flying. Seems the only way to reset the sounds, is to hit 'q'. I get fedup having to do this numerous times during a flight. I know I'm not alone with this issue, but I also don't see much about it. Anyone know of a work around?

Syetem = Win7 64bit, Nvidia GTX 690, i7&[email protected], 12Gig Ram etc. My old fsx intsall lasted about 3 years before it gave up after various hardware updates, moved to P3d briefly to replace FSX, but too many addons just dont work right in P3D, and one addon eventually broke the install, so i woulod not recommend P3D for addons not listed as supporting P3D. Back to FSX for me. FSX sp2 is listed in the uninstall programs in control panel, but only recently noticed that FSX sp1 on the other hand is listed in the installed updates. removed sp1, sp2 and put them back again, and the sim became light as a feather. Can anyone help, I have Just bought an Alienware Desktop to eventually play FSX without any problems. however, i have installed the usual addon programmes in the following sequence REX, UTX & GEX. After installing Rex & Utx i was getting nice green textured grass around the airport & flying albeit the place was rather flat. Now i have installed GEX the terrain has become more realistic athough the grass at low level flying and around the airport is rather drab and made up of large squares. Any ideas guys on how to sort this or is this the norm. If normal i may have to remove GEX. your comments would be appreciated.

In FSX, whenever I try to taxi a light aircraft (like the A2A P-51D Mustang Civilian), it takes forever for the airplane to stop turning. Is there any way I can fix this or is it deadbolted into the software? And I know it doesn't to this in real life because I have been in these airplanes and it doesn't do this. Thanks, airbusman5514

Wow, I've never seen such a confusing and convoluted install. PlaySims Treescapes series for the UK and Scotland ... eventually it'll get the job done, but oh my what a mess along the way ... 1. Apparently the animated arrow on the right pane is where one should go to install the product (after running the Autorun). 2. There is an animated progress circle in the main area top center -- this apparently means nothing, but the animated progress bar in the right small pane does indicate progress of installation and/or communicate with ESI? So I understand GEX to be generic replacement textures and buildings for FSX.. Blue Sky Scenery is basically like Mega Scenery but not a clear... My question is if I get GEX then just download the Blue Sky stuff for the areas around the runways I fly from will that work? Would I simply put the Blue Sky scenery a level above the GEX stuff? And a secondary question does GEX alone have the night lighting? I guess around the airports I would have no night lighting with Blue Sky ... Hummm maybe at night I could just turn off the Blue Sky?

Still new to FSX so I've been using the instant replay to work on landing the heavies. During the replay any view outside of the cockpit has a large amount of stutter. Is there anyway to smooth it out?

I have almost all products from Aerosoft (Zurich, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, London and Vienna). They are more Europe based. Hey all! I am a long haul flyer and I have a major question for the Wilco A330/340/380 panels. I love flying for Korean Airlines which operates the A330 as well as the A380. Situation: I takeoff with fully made and correct flight plan from LAX (los Angeles International Airport) enroute to Seoul Incheon International on a Korean A380. I climb the aircraft, cruise, wait, and wait. After a while I go out some where (for a few hours) and the plane magically stopped about 100 NM from where I left it! The flight sim was paused! Hi there, I will be getting a new machine in the next couple of weeks. My question is: can I transfer FSX folder(s) from one HDD to the new one without corrupting files etc...? Ciaran Andrews.

This issue just started occurring today (Apr 15, 2013). All aircraft in the sim now have black boxes for strobe, nav, landing lights, etc. Also, aircraft contrails now appear as white and light grey boxes. Moreover, aircraft windows will occasionally be opaque when viewed from the outside, but can still see through them fine when inside the aircraft. When I exit the flight, sometimes the aircraft selection window (showing the selected aircraft slowly rotating) will show the aircraft as a grey, jumbled mess, with no textures. The QW BAE-146 Avro for FSX is a great product. The 146 part of it was supposed to be released 1st quarter 2013. Where's is it? No ones talking about it. Anybody have ny idea when we will get it?

Around half a year ago I bought X-Plane 10 and found it quite good, especially at night and particularly it felt like I am really flying. After rebuilding my computer, I attempted to reinstall my copy of FSX Gold (in other words, Deluxe + Acceleration). I had previously reinstalled it a few times as I was making hardware changes and doing benchmarking. Now, after installing the Deluxe part but before attempting to install the Acceleration files, I tried to reactivate the software over the internet. I got an error message that said I had exceeded the allowed number of activations!
