I just got a new CH Eclipse Yoke. It came with Discover USA/Discover Europe bundled - are these any good or to be avoided ? thanks

I'm very interested in picking this up, but am a bit concerned as I've heard Bombardier isn't real keen on giving out the FCOM/FCTM. I'd love to be able to purchase one, but doesn't look that that's a possibility. I realize the systems information can be located online, but It'd be nice to have something much like the NGX real world training manuals. I'm interested in the real life procedures, so this can be flown by the book so to speak. How is the provided documentation? Seems like an add-on this advanced and detailed deserves a top notch real world AFM. Thanks! Ty

Hi Folks - the Ol' Blackbird is here just for a sec - to say "thanks" to Majestic Software, for producing what is undoubtedly one of the finest flying simulated aircraft ever to grace FSX. Wow! Smooooooth, and "buoyant" are words that best describe my flight experiences with this aircraft so far. Landing this aircraft by hand is nothing short of phenomenal. Again - the buoyancy that you guys (and gals?) have put into this plane's flight model are wonderful. It just feels right - like you have "air" under the wings. Not static at all....very nice. I must admit - when I saw that some folks were having initial purchase/activation issues - I almost did not buy this …

Hi everyone , Is it only me who gets annoyed with the red text while switching views , setting brakes , etc etc in fsx?? Its very irritating , i dont want any red text to be shown to me , any help ? Thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone I am aware the support guys are really busy getting everyone sorted so I thought I would post here. I am slowly getting the hang of things with the amazing Dash 8 400 however I am having 1 serious issue that is spoiling the experience for me. I push the throttles forward to the t/o power setting and can control the aircraft with the ailerons as I have no pedals until about sixty knots and then start to pull strongly to the left and run off the runway. Any ideas short of buying rudder pedals how to stop this? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks Barra

Opps I meant Pre Order not Pro Oder. It's $750 for the Yoke, looks great and I'd love to have one but I cannot afford that much for a piece of FSX hardware...even though I'm sure its worth it, I have a TQ6 and I got it on sale and I love it, o well maybe one day. Has anyone using EZdok been able to find DMH settings that won't result in the aircraft bouncing like a low rider with switches?

Hi all...I've searched and not having a lot of luck. I load my airplane...anyone...PMDG...Q400 (killer add on!)...default fsx airplanes...anything in my hanger and my throttles will advance in a jumpy manner maybe to half thrust and settle back into idle...in a jerky motion way. this is thru my warthog throttles...saitek joystick throttles and the f1-f4 keys. in otherwords every means of advancing throttles does not work properly. I use registured version of FSUIPC, and even deleted the assignment to use fsx axis with same results. F keys no help know its not the hardware. I can hold the f4 key down, or advance the throttles and it will try to advance to full thro…

Have just completed a 1 hour flight in rough weather in the "Q" and OPUS cams and DHM work perfectly. I found no issues, so I hope Opus users will be happy about that.

1) A full walk through, from the default start or even full C&D to shut down. Every button every setting, full FMS programming etc. The works. The demo flight does not really cut it. 2) Panel state saves through the FMS 3) As I use EZDOK I really wish I could see a wing and props when i look back out of the window, the Q400 like the AXA has no wings from the VC. Shame. But not a sim killer. You have done an amazing job and love what you have done but please think about the above and I'm sure others will add there thoughts. Kind Regards David.

When a regular flight is started, I see yellow translucent vertical posts with letters near the top scattered randomly at and away from the airport. These are the things you see when in training or on missions. There are two things that where done during the time this problem was noticed. I downloaded demos from the fsdream team and the payware Traffic 360. I know I didn't see this right after the Traffic 360 was downloaded, not sure about the fs dream team because I was focused on the planes and the ground crew around the plane. I tried various airports from default to Orbx, all the same. Any ideas would be helpful.

Just come across this in a real world plane. For those who don't know what it does, RNAV is a clever computer which takes actual VOR/DME information, and creates virtual VORS to make flying direct to a location a lot easier/safer.Not come across it so far. Anyone know if it has been implemented anywhere?

Stupidly I downloaded and installed a boat into FSX, The isntaller I think was one of these new ones with a converster file, which I cannot find to uninstall the damn thing. Maybe someone can help me? The addon is: Baumgarten& Burmeister Steams s/s Hjejlen. I've searched for it all over the web to download it again and see if it has an unintaller, but cannot find it, It isn't anywhere in my computer when I make a search...? Berlopez :wacko:

Hi all, First off, let me say how much I'm enjoying this aircraft, simply wonderful. Recently, after loading the aircraft and powering the FMC it's giving the message "AHRS Input Fail" after I click "accept" and then click the flightplan button. I don't recall this happening in the first couple of days. It has also given another message from time to time relating to RAIM, however I can't recall the exact message. I'd appreciate any assistance in relation to this.
