Hello All! I have tried messing around with the config to avail, and basically my problem is as follows... I recently downloaded the Majestic Q400 and installed it. It looks awesome (although my flying skills need some attention!) but I have a very small problem, a trifle really. The differential brake notification (the default FS notification in the bottom left). I have to engage and disengage parking brakes to clear it, however the warning persists. I have tried calibrating and what not, as well as changing the throttle and brake input values. It seems to occur when in reverse thrust or just with a low setting on the power lever. I've only been serious into FSX for about 1.5 years. In that time I've spent $1000s on addons and have every advanced FSX aircraft including all PMDGs, all Carenados, DC-9 by Coolsky, Avro by QW, Realair Dukes, all Captain Sims, Eaglesoft Citation X 2.0, Level-D, Feelthere embraers, Milviz, etc. The only really great ones I don't have are the Maddog and Concorde X. In my opinion the best, most enjoyable, all-in aircraft I own in FSX is: PMDG MD-11 I'm so tempted by the Maddog Md-80 but scared away by high price I guess.

An answer I got from the REX staff over a problem I was having went like this ; " Windows 8 incorporates new folder security. To work properly both FSX and REX have to be installed outside any program file folders, otherwise it is really a lot of work to make it work properly." Right now everything that is sim is in my external drive. The FSX is in it's own folder, the REX is in it's own folder. All add ons are the same way. Does the above statement suggest that I expand all my folders and leave them like that?

I like using the stock ATC with FSX and have a question regarding an altimeter reading that is mentioned after connecting with a new contact. Example = "United 209, Mansfield Approach, roger, Altimeter 3006." That reading of 3006 seems to be used quite a bit and I don't understand what it's referring to as it certainly isn't where I'm at. It seems to be the same coming from other locations as well. Thanks

Why is the Fuel pages in FMS empty, no data, after sending data from control panel? The fuel and payload changes in FSX - Aircraft - Fuel and Payload but nothing in the FMS Fuel pages.

Any body noticed some odd behavior when replaying with FSRecorder? Like the gear bouncing 50' before touchdown, sometimes the scenery is way way off in replay, when you exit the replay mode the Q400 is never on the runway where you left it...it's always some 50-100' to the right....?

Hello all, On my computer, the default Cessna 172SP has this terrible tendency to bank to the left in level cruise flight, not only during climbs, where this tendendy is expected. I have to fight the aircraft so it maintains course. I have the Carenado's C152 and C172N, and of course, flying those are a whole new ball game. But my interest on the default aircraft is because this book I'm using to train fro real world flight, and it uses the default aircraft. I have seen many people complimenting the default C172SP as a great flight model, others, like me, having problems flying this aircraft. Oddly enough, I do not have any problems with the other default aircra…

Using the default aircraft the L on the keyboard is supposed to toggle all lights on all lights off. When I use it only the exterior lighting goes off and on. I get a flash in the cockpit but the lights don't stay on. Is this a bug or am I missing something. I tried changing the key assignment also deleting it and assigning it to a button on the yoke but no luck..any ideas?

I just ordered the Saitek Pro Flight Cessna Yoke System. I'm wondering if it will be possible to continue using my current joystick and its buttons along with the Saitek? I'd like to use the twist handle for a sort of tiller, if you will. So my current joystick would be for ground handling and I'd also like to continue using the buttons on it for FS2Crew button version. Downloaded the inst.file from JustFlight, did the install. and it was ok so far, but when I started FSX (I saw all the Dash8 in my MSFS meny) then I got the message "A fatal error has occur" or something like that, and FSX shuts down. What is wrong? anyone else had these problems??? I tryed to install the Dash two more times again and the same thing happend. Please help, what could be the problem??? Best Regards Per

First, in putting this question out there I am not making any statement and not posting this question relative to any product or any developer. My reason for posting is that I have logged more time since the first of the year in attempts to get FSX add on products to behave than I've logged in flight hours. These have included a couple of add on aircraft models, a high end weather textures and weather engine, and updated drivers to my nVidia GTX 560 TI. The issue I had with the weather add on was solved through updates from that developer and was most likely related to operating system as those problems were experienced prior to program execution to start FSX. This IS a shame! I payed 49 Euro for this 19 hours ago! And STILL not able to fly or use it!!! First of all my FSX crashed due to a message saying "a fatal error has occured"... (like I worte before) The i spend hours last night to find a way to fix that, (and I have tried EVERYTHING!) but NO! Then, this morning when I tried to install the Dash again I got a NEW message saying "Installs Exhausted" (???) I give up!!! This is beyond acceptable! Hi all- I'm experiencing an odd situation that has been ongoing but have finally decided to try and do something about it. I'm attaching a link to a video to clarify. Notice to marching ants (like the selction tool in PS) on the windows, light poles and jetways? I've gone all the way to 8XQ and 4xSuperSampling with no visible effect. Anyone know how I can remove the "EZDOK Aircraft Universal Camera" from my list of views?\\IS there a file that I need to edit? I don't see any view within the EZCA popup. currently my "EZDOK Aircraft Universal Camera" is the most worthless view I have. If I can't remove it, how can change it to be like my virtual Cockpit?

Im looking to buy a biz jet to compliment my Fs economy hanger. So far i have looked at the above and both fit the bill. The Mustang has the garmin 1000 but I dont have to much experience with it. The Mustang has more eye candy however a lower speed and range than the citation x Any recommendations out there for either ? or is there something else out there that is more appealing?

Many years ago, when I began digging deeper into flight simulation, a flight simulation company came on stage- PSS! As of FS2002 to FS2004, I marveled at what PSS- paired with Just Flight- had to offer to the sim world...From the Concorde to the Boeing 777-300; from the Airbus 320- to the Airbus 340 series...ahhh life was good. This isn't an Xplane-10 post, nor an FSX post, or a post about any particular simulator that currently exists. It's about the future! No two ways about it, XPlane-10 Seattle is exceptional - and there is room for a lot more in that city. I've also been very impressed by the speed of which addons have been coming out for Xplane-10 as well. Nice job Austin... I've lived the labor of love myself, so I can spot one when I see it. When the rest of the world is populated like Seattle, and ships and trains are added, I will retire and do nothing but immerse myself into X-Plane 10/11/12.
