Why does the FlightSimLabs Concorde X get so little attention and praise. Why no Gold Star award from Avsim. How good is this Concorde. Thinking about gettin' it but it never goes on sale. Any opinions on it? If you don't have it why not?

Hi all Could someone give me there opinions on the fsdreamteam klas and kjfk scenery I'm looking to purchase these airports and was wondering how they look and what impact they have on frame rates I've read a good amount on the new releases but would like to get these two first before I look at the newer ones Thanks

Nightmare. I got the dreaded blue screen of death whilst installing an ORBX library update. When I rebooted my machine it said something about my scenery file was corrupted or something similar. Now all my scenery appears with black flat vertical squares all over the place. :attached pic below The thought of a fresh install of my 150GB worth of scenery is too much to bear. (Which is why I just walked away from my machine for 2 months) But now I'm back and would love a solution if anyone has one. Otherwise its 20 hours of hell. Is there any diagnostics I can do on the scenery.cfg file to see where it may have become corrupted I wonder?

Hi all, I decided to write here after many weeks of unsuccessful tweaking of the cfg file. I use Prepar3D but the tweaks for fsx are nearly the same, so I thought this is the correct forum for my question. Hi, I have no problem staying on the localizer with the default Garmin, but I have much difficulty staying on the glideslope. I have been using the throttle to make adjustments, but it still is a problem. The autopilot is on, the APR mode is selected, NAV switch is in NAV as I approach the ILS feather, and the ALT button is on. I am at the correct altitude to approach the ILS. Should the ALT button be turned off at this point for the descent or left on? Thanks. Tom

Super noob question On the pmdg 737 On the pfd in the upper right hand corner is a small half round Gaige with a needle, what does it indicate Engines ? I can't find out anywhere Thanks Jho

They have new pictures up of the VC. Not sure if I am getting this one. The King Air 200 had a performance hit on my system. I'll wait to see what people report. Visually like all Carenado products it looks nice. It's been a long time under development. John

Just wondering what you guys do for aa and af? In-game management or do you set it up outside on NVidia control panel? I'm trying to do it strictly with NVidia CP but it's has many more options that it did when I used it last (several years ago). What do you guys have everything set to? hi everyone i'm new to FSX and loving it i've gone headfirst into all this and i'm learning really fast I fly the PMDG 737 almost exclusively, and have the following addons REX GEX UTX US Cities X Las Vegas fs dream team Mccarran int EzDok fsuipc running fxaa i LOVE flying to KLAS and doing so at night. i fly 80% at night i have a few questions regarding these scenerys working together, as you can see from the photos the US citys LV does not match up with what i'm assuming is the UTX at night. i really like the look of the majority of the outer parts but the brighter areas bother me. any suggestions on how i can layer these to work bette…

Hi all I was just wondering, having just read some reviews on various airport sceneries,how in the reviews they show pictures of various parts of the airport. How do I see them myself,Is special software required? The fact that these developers have done this ie views from inside terminals,outside entrances they want to show them off but I don't know how to view there work,any ideas? Thanks

Guys this aircraft is excellent. Only done a Circuit. Just a word of warning this bird is itiching to go as soon as the engines are running. Easy on the throttles as you need hardley any to taxi. I didnt realise hgow powerfull the props are on this aircraft.

Hi, I just tried a flight from Bend Oregon to KPDX using FTX Pacific Northwest. I was only at 9000ft in a Cessna 182 and flying IFR with the FSX ATC. For the whole trip over the mountains, ATC kept saying "descend to 8,400" then as I get to 8,400, "climb to 9000" and as I approach 9000, "descend to 8400" back and forth. I kept this roller coaster ride going for most of the trip over the mountains. Was this because ATC was confused with the elevation changes? Is there a workaround without cancelling IFR? Thanks. Tom

I'm now very confused. GSX plays beeps and boarding sound is in my headset. Main FSX sounds are in my speakers. ProATCX sounds are in my speakers. How do I get GSX boarding sounds into my speakers and ProATCX into my headphones? FSX sound option is through my speakers and voice is through my headset.

A nicely done Falcon 50/900/7X or a Challenger 300/600/604/605, Global Express for FSX? I also never understood why someone didn't expand on the LR45 which MS included in FS. Taking it to the level we have come to expect from payware these days. Since a Gulfstream is out of the question, due to legal issues. Why not a nicely done Falcon or Challenger Bizjet? :mellow:

For my home cockpit I am using 3 26" monitors for one wide outside view. The cockpit is real size. The view , in reality, is to small. I would need 3 projectors and screens to match the cockpit. What I would like is to blow up the image , as it looks like with 0.30 ( wideview is false ). Zooming in causes the end of the runway look way to near. What I want is each pixel to be larger, like with a projector. As I have monitors it would be that the image of one pixel would be devided over multiple pixels. So like having 47" monitors and a part , large as 3 26" monitors, is cut out. I am wondering if there is a way , perhaps with warping software, th…

I've typically always built my own PC and or upgraded it myself. However, with my current active duty military status, I found actually getting around to doing it problematic. About a month back I came to the conclusion that I'd simply buy a gaming rig, and after looking at the various system builders (FNW, Origin, Alienware, etc) I finally settled on one from Digital Storm. It showed up last week and I have to say, its destroyed every game I've thrown at it thus far. That said, FSX was going to be the real test. It's system intensive, it eats memory and CPU cycles for dinner, and spits them back out. I'm more than pleased with the performance... enthralled actually. …

My "over priced" alienware came in yesterday and so far it's great. The sim looks great and I easily lock at 30. I decided to get my head back into the world of cats in today as well and thank god my airspace was uncontrolled. I purchased the F1 Cessna mustang and decided to do more than just fly around in circles like I've done for the last day so I headed to Destin and jumped in with intentions of flying to CLL (Gig'em!). Hi all, I have been flying in Canadian Northern Domestic Airspace where all headings are in degrees TRUE. Now I noticed in one airport that the RWY heading in FSX is totally outdated. It is CYSM, FSX has RWY 11/29 when in real life now it is 12/30. My question is, how can I update all the airports that have outdated runways, and navaids for that matter. In FSX? I found this forum but im not sure if this is what im supposed to do. Thanks in advance.

I have no Ai or GA traffic on the ground or in the air. I had some free payware demos that I uninstalled ( ultimate traffic 2, FS Dream team, ORBX Traffic). I do have ground vehicles.I went right into FSX files just to make sure they were uninstalled. Thanks in advance.

The Tittle says it all... I am eagerly waiting for the DCS Huey to be released, but with FSX Gold running smoothly like never before on my system, I would like to have a nice helo there too.
