Default Baron 58, fully shut down to C+D, in VC, sound sliders all to max. right, What is that sound suppose to be?

Before I get started, this tweak is for users that doesn't have high end system, like me. My [email protected] can't cope with NGX. I mean it's flyable (from 20 to 30fps) but on finals with AI planes fps tends to go under 20, with lots of stutter. So I tried something simple, and it worked like a charm! This tweak is perfect for VC flyers that doesn't, or rarely use external view (spot view). Even if you are using external views, you can adapt this tweak. If you are very fond to watching and adore fantastic external model of NGX, skip this tweak and enjoy lower fps. Hey guys, seems like every time I try to start the F1 Mustang the controls move, but no engines. Maybe 2 out of 3 times this happens. Not seeing it with any other planes. I do see a master caution "sometimes", telling me there is low oil pressure. I am just getting into this thing, so it could be user error or RTFM, but wanted to see if anyone has seen this. Can anyone help with this? Carenado's support is slow to respond to emails. On initial flight loads , my SR22 has missing textures. If I reload a fight, then the plane shows fine. I do have my texture max size at 4098. See attached pic...

top of the morning ladies and gents, did some searching on the forums and in a couple of file libraries but didn't find anything. i'm looking for a utility will give me the active runway information for my destination - right now i look at the wind direction at the destination and use that to figure the active out, problem with that is sometimes FSX just has a mind of its own or the winds are calm or crossed and i can't figure out which runway to prep for till i can contact ATC - that's usually about 60 to 70 miles out and too busy a time to bury my head in the FMC to make tons of changes (if they need to be made). so if you know of a utility that would provide t…

Good day, ***DYSLEXIC MOMENT*** The original title should have read "AN-225". I've always found these forums helpful when I've come across an issue that is pretty perplexing. I have an Antonov AN-225 that will not retract the landing gear once the aircraft has taken off. This is the ONLY aircraft I have this problem with. I've searched the forum to see if anyone has this same issue and haven't not been able to find any information. Has anyone else run into this issue? Thanks.

I know about the setting to change the rate at which weather changes, but weather also has its own dialog box where you chose weather themes, real weather etc. To have weather change on its own, which of these settings should be used?

I've had this issue for a bit now. When I cycle through views, and switch from the outside view back into the VC, it has these black boxes that appear for a couple seconds, then the full texture loads. I'm just curious. What causes this, and is there anything I can do to fix it? I have a Crucial M4 256 SSD (SATA 6Gbps), which is pretty fast, but maybe it's something other than the SSD causing the texture lag. Anyone have any ideas on what this might be?

I have UT2 and the logo light of their aircraft are always on in night time. I recently replace the A32x and B737 with FAIB one, but their logo light are not always on anymore when they park. Wondering if I am doing something wrong or it is the way it is.

After reading another post regarding someone having trouble with PMDG NGX engine sound remaining after reducing reverse thrust, I thought I would make this inquiry. That thread also included a reply that some sound problems were FSX originated and nothing could be done about it, but thought I would ask anyway. Engine sounds vary in FSX for me beginning when I upgraded to Windows 7 Premium Home some time ago. 1. Just starting using enb again and it reminded me why I never stick with it. I do like the colours it brings out, but the sky is so bright I can't make out the clouds, and the cockpit is too dark. Is it possible to turn down the overall strength of the bloom settings? Which values can I experiment with in the .ini?

I recently downloaded the demo. I am simply trying to adjust my “eye point” for each aircraft without having to edit the aircraft config file. What I cannot seem to do is have the OPUS dialog sit on top of my FSX window so that I can “see” the view changes as I adjust pitch x and Y axis views controls. I am left with switching between FSX and OPUSFSX, but this does not always work because ALT – TAB does not play nice with FSX in Windows 7. Long story short, I have not been able to change any views. In Xplane 10 there is a pilotview plugin that opens a window on top of the sim and you can both make view and see these changes at the same time. Can OPUS do this?

Guys, I am about to pull the Little bit of hair I have left. Here is the story: I play my FSX using 2 monitors (same screen resolution than they are in windows 1600x900x32) my average FPS in highly populated areas using the PMDG aircraft is about 13fps. A couple of days back I found out that if I go on Windowed mode my FPS double!!!!, trying to understand why I went ahead and unplugged my Second monitor. When I do this my FPS double again regardless of windowed or full screen mode.... Why when I go in to full screen mode (even if I am not using the second screen my FPS drop in half????? Any advice?????

I have FSX Deluxe, installed both SP1 and SP2, but not Acceleration, and recently started adding airport scenery from the FS9 and FSX libraries. Some objects from FS9 addon scenery are misplaced in FSX, so I decided to download Airport Design Editor (ADE) which requires the FSX SDK to be installed. I've spent a week trying different methods to get the SDK installed, but have failed every time. I've read forum threads here and at FSDeveloper.com and tried the suggestions, but continue to get error messages that stop the installation. Here is what I've tried so far and the results: 1. Does anyone know if current FSX addons we pruchase are going to work in Prepar3d 2.0? I mean over the past year I've spent over $500 in addons and I hate to not use them with a new platform but I am getting sick of FSX's VAS limit and I'm ready to swtich when the time comes. What are your thoughts on backwards compatiblity with a new platform? Cheers!

I tried everything, but also after 3 reinstallations EZCA are KO. .without EZCA FSX is unusable. Since about 2 weeks,during my flights I notice a slowdown and a loss of smoothness during panning until the loss off control by assigned keyboard and joystick buttons. In past MSFS versions, Dreamfleet supplied a handy timer which included a Simulate Rate Multiplier which sure was handy ("DF182_Timer_C"). Unfortunately, it is not compatible with FSX. The only way to do this of which I know is to go into Options>Simulate Rate and then select the multiplier. Does anyone know of a similar panel mounted gauge for FSX. I'm using Squawk Box, I'm in love with the Software and i can't even think about using any other Software, Also i hate FSINN so there aren't two many options. but unfortunately it is not perfect, every now and then on a random time(you can't know when) this stupid error message pops up: if it does you have to press ignore immediately or it will disconnect you from the server, pressing anything else will make FSX crash. when sending or replying to a privet message can almost every time pop up and if it does pop up while sending/replying to a privet message even pressing ignore will make FSX crash, if you don't cancel it, it will make fsx freeze until you cancel it mean…

Hello simmers. I use 2 monitors from my ATI RAdeon 5700 with dual outlet for two monitors. After reinstalling FSX i am not able to adjust as I want to. Outside FSX, I can group both monitors together, so my desktop is stretched as I want to. But as soon as I start FSX i get the very same view on both monitors. This has worket a couple of times before, but not anymore. Any suggestions what to do? Morgan

Hi Everybody, I'm trying do get my UT2 traffic a bit better. So I installed the AI TFS A380 which is beautiful. Till now I installed the Emirates and the Singapore Airlines Livery in FSX. The Emirates livery is showing perfectly But to have the Singapore Airlines displayed I need to uncheck the "aircraft shadows" option. Anybody have the same problem or maybe know what happen ? I think it should be something with the texture file which are not treated in the same way ? Thanks in advance for your help. BR Basile
